Chapter 426: Chapter 426 - Counterattack(Part 11)

Hm? A portal? Are they trying to retreat? I won’t let them, I-...my eyes then widened slightly before I came to a stop and backed away as an ominous, dark purple energy erupted around Satan, while Larrk Stryker swiftly withdrew into the portal.
What...what is this energy? I’ve never seen this before, what kind of power is this? I’m getting a very bad feeling about this...no, I doubt this is anything to worry about, especially now that he’s on his own.
I don’t know why Larrk Stryker retreated, but now that he’s gone, this power boost or whatever it is that Satan has unleashed shouldn’t be a concern-...I then froze as he suddenly vanished from my sight with a rapid purple blur, before my eyes widened as I spotted him right in front of me.
He let out a feral, animalistic roar before driving his right arm towards me, Obliteration energy swirling around his fist as he slammed it onto the middle of my chest , blasting a hole through my body before I could react.
"Teleportation!" I chanted as quickly as I could, teleporting several meters away with a grimace, my injury starting to heal before I turned across to my left as he came charging in towards me with immense speed.
He snarled viciously as he began to close in, before whipping his arm across and unleashing an intense eruption of Obliteration energy, which I narrowly evaded by ducking down, my eyes widening in alarm as his knee came shooting up towards me, slamming onto the middle of my face.
I found myself getting sent hurtling back through the air at an alarming speed, my nose severely broken before my back slammed onto the wall behind me, blood streaming down my face.
Wh-what is this power...he seems to be about five times stronger and faster than he was before, but it appears that he is no longer in control of himself, he is little more than a mindless beast.
But despite that...the drastic boost to his power is so immense that it more than makes up for the lack of control. If anything, his attacks are more difficult to predict now.
I then teleported away as he came charging in towards me again, before he rapidly spun across as I reappeared and unleashed a massive wave of Obliteration towards me.
"Redirection Portal!" I exclaimed, swallowing up the wave as I closed in on me before diverting it away to my left.
As the attack petered out, I looked around frantically to try and locate Satan, having lost sight of him, before stiffening as I sensed him behind me.
I chanted as I quickly as I could to teleport away, grimacing as a sharp pain burst out across the middle of my back, before turning my gaze towards him as I reappeared a fair distance away, to see his claws slick with my blood.
"Future Sight!" I swiftly chanted as he shot towards me again, allowing me to see half a second into the future.
Damn it, even though this is only half as potent as Azriel’s version of it, it’s draining my energy rapidly. I then chanted again to activate a copy of Lavinia’s Poison Blood, turning my blood immensely toxic as he closed in on me and drove his claws forward with a gutteral roar.
His claws plunged into the right side of my chest and burst out my back as I turned my body across, before he roared in pain as my blood infected his arm.
"Now, Dragon Fire Eruption!" I snapped, unleashing a burst of intense Dragon Fire around myself to blow him away.
He snarled as his skin got set ablaze, before my eyes widened in disbelief as he extinguished the flames by coating his body in a layer of Obliteration energy, before severing his left arm and regrowing it as my toxified blood ate into his flesh.
Okay, I can somewhat keep up with his speed with Future Sight, at least enough to narrowly react in time...but keeping it active in tandem with Poison Blood is far too draining, I need to deactivate the latter.
He then let out a deafening roar as he raised his right foot and slammed it onto the ground, triggering a devastating shockwave that erupted across the room, shattering the tiled floor to pieces as the entire space rumbled and shook violently, before the ceiling and walls collapsed and caved in, large chunks of rubble raining down.
I quickly chanted to put up a barrier wall above my head, blocking out the falling rubble...that’s right, I forgot that he has an ability that lets him amplify the impact of his strikes.
He hasn’t used that ability against me earlier, since he’d opted to attack from a distance. But now, without his sense of reason, he isn’t holding anything back...that ability on top of the power boost he’s triggered, it’s increased the destructive power of his physical strikes immensely. I cannot afford to take a direct hit.
I then took down the barrier above me as the collapse of the rubble settled, before grimacing as I spotted a flash of purple ahead of me, a rapid blur shooting through the clouds of dust that had formed.
I quickly flew up as it closed in on me, an Obliteration blast that barreled through the spot where I’d been standing, before I turned my gaze forward as he zipped through the dust and closed in on me with a snarl.
"Telepor-...!" I began, before I was abruptly cut off as a tendril of slime wrapped around my neck and flooded into my open mouth, right as several more tendrils restrained my limbs.
I glanced back as I struggled to break free of the restraints, before spotting them coming out of a small portal, around the same spot where Larrk Stryker had seemingly retreated...I-I see, he wasn’t running away, he was simply making sure that he wouldn’t get caught up in Satan’s rampage.
He must have been observing this whole time, waiting for an opportunity...and with my focus entirely on Satan, he caught me unawares and restrained me with his slime. This won’t hold me for long, but-...!
My train of thought was abruptly cut off as Satan closed in on me and drove his right fist forward with immense force, slamming onto the middle of my torso.
I coughed out blood with an agonized wheeze as every single bone in my body shattered to pieces upon impact, my organs violently rupturing before I got sent hurtling back through the air, streaks of blood pouring out of my mouth...
