Chapter 148: Chapter 149: To Have Such a Cheesy Side…
“Chu Yuxiao! You bastard!” Su Yan stomped her foot in anger.
She yelled at his retreating figure:
“I hate you! I really, really hate you! I will never pursue you again!”
Suddenly, Zhui Feng stopped and began to run back.
Su Yan was stunned for a moment, before Chu Yuxiao rode back to stand in front of her again.
“Dammit! Go back!”
Chu Yuxiao tightly pulled on the reins, trying to turn Zhui Feng around.
But Zhui Feng wouldn’t budge an inch and simply refused to leave.
Su Yan blinked, suddenly understanding.
It wasn’t that Chu Yuxiao had a change of heart and decided to take her with him—it was Zhui Feng who wanted to bring her along.
So, it turned out that the one who first fell for her wasn’t him but his horse…
Slightly annoyed, Chu Yuxiao glared at Su Yan and said displeasedly, “Get on the horse!”
Su Yan paused again, then quickly recovered, climbing up his outstretched hand to mount behind him with a grin.
Hehe, she finally got her wish to go out with him.
Glancing sideways at her happy expression, Chu Yuxiao said indifferently:
“You’re the one who wants to follow, don’t regret it later.”
“No regrets, no regrets. As long as I can follow you, I’m willing to climb mountains and swim across seas,” Su Yan was shocked by her own sappy words.
It turned out she had such a cheesy side…
Chu Yuxiao looked at her with disgust, a hint of scorn flashing in his eyes.
“Hold tight.”
He merely gave her a warning and didn’t allow Su Yan any time to secure herself before he cracked the whip on the horse’s back.
Zhui Feng started to wildly gallop away.
Due to the inertia, Su Yan leaned back slightly, thankfully grabbing his clothes just in time to avoid falling off.
Frightened, she quickly hugged his waist and dared not move at all.
“Slow down, you’re going too fast!”
This speed was no horse riding; it was practically horse racing.
Chu Yuxiao ignored her, and his speed only increased.
The wind whistled past her ears, and Su Yan could only hold him tighter, burying her face into his broad back to shield herself from the wind.
Their hair flew about, and Chu Yuxiao, sitting in front, even looked somewhat dashing and spirited.
