Chapter 133: The Maid And The E-Boy
Every student was now stuck inside a tree in some bizarre posture.
Most of them had bright red faces and looked only moments away from bursting into tears.
Some had already started crying silently, while others desperately tried to endure the torture with trembling bodies.
Even Caelum felt as though he had discovered entirely new angles his body was capable of bending into.
His current posture resembled a giant cross.
His right arm was stretched straight upward, his left arm extended horizontally at a ninety-degree angle, one leg firmly supported his body while the other remained perfectly horizontal from his waist, and throughout the entire pose he had to keep both his spine and neck perfectly straight.
Every joint in his body trembled.
Just as he felt he was about to lose balance, the tree gently tightened around him, supporting his posture.
At that very moment, his eyes widened.
The flow of energy inside his body subtly shifted.
’This really is a miraculous secret technique...’
Caelum carefully observed the changes.
Every posture seemed to guide his muscles, bones, tendons, and even his energy into a more harmonious state.
If he mastered all these positions... his body’s flexibility would increase to an astonishing level!
Still, he wasn’t entirely convinced about Bromwen’s claim that humans could eventually become as flexible as cats or slimes.
Fortunately, his [Eternal Immortal Physique] naturally accelerated any beneficial bodily adaptation, allowing him to improve much faster than ordinary people.
After nearly an hour of suffering, Bromwen finally clapped his hands.
"Alright! That’s enough for today!"
The trees dissolved into mana, and the jungle instantly disappeared as the illusion collapsed.
The next moment.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Every student dropped onto the training ground and many simply lay there motionless.
"Damn it..."
"I’m writing a complaint..."
One student weakly breathed while another quietly sobbed..
"Uh... hu..."
"I refuse to attend this class ever again..."
The students looked utterly defeated.
Completely ignoring their complaints, Bromwen casually stretched his shoulders.
"Tomorrow your instructor will change."
A grin slowly spread across his face.
"Your magic training begins tomorrow! Prepare yourselves kids, because these alternate days will be your first steps towards power!"
Leaving behind those ominous words, he leisurely walked away toward the cafeteria.
Watching him disappear, Loreal sighed.
"Sir Bromwen’s training methods are far too dangerous."
"They weren’t that difficult..."
Anastasia commented absentmindedly, she genuinely couldn’t understand everyone’s reaction.
After all, the princess had possessed remarkable flexibility since childhood.
Her innocent remark immediately earned a few resentful glares.
Fortunately for her, nobody dared argue with the Imperial Princess.
Soon, the exhausted students slowly dispersed toward their dormitories for some well-deserved rest.
Caelum and Paul did the same.
The moment they entered their room, Paul immediately stiffened.
"I-I’m still scared..." He pointed toward the window with trembling fingers.
"What if she suddenly possesses me?!"
Standing beside the window was a beautiful young woman.
The only unusual thing was that her body was slightly transparent and one could easily see through her ghostly figure.
She wore an expression colder than ice and frozen deserts.
Beside her sat the E-Boy, calmly waiting for someone to feed it as though it already owned the room.
Even stranger was that the ghost was now wearing a maid uniform!
"The room is nice and clean." Caelum nodded in satisfaction.
"Good job."
He didn’t find anything particularly strange about the situation. Everything looked perfectly normal.
Instead, he noticed that their official summons, Jojo and Voomie were missing.
The two often wandered around the school together, and since they could both speak, Caelum and Paul never paid much attention to where they went.
Little did he know, that habit would eventually come back to haunt him.
"Aren’t you happy to finally be outside?" Caelum asked while looking at Cliodhna.
"No."
She answered without the slightest hesitation.
Her bitterness wasn’t hidden in the slightest.
Seeing her expression, Caelum couldn’t help thinking she was behaving like a child throwing a tantrum despite technically being an adult.
’Perhaps living alone inside that gloomy place for so long affected her personality...’
After resting for a short while, Caelum suddenly stood up.
"Get up Paul! We need to register this bird!"
Paul didn’t even move.
The stretching exercises had drained every ounce of strength from his body.
Seeing this, Caelum simply grabbed him by the collar without another word.
The E-Boy naturally perched itself atop Caelum’s head.
Before registering it, the two first stopped by the cafeteria and filled their empty stomachs.
Only afterward did they head toward the administrative office of the [Beast & Summoning Grounds].
Inside, an elderly clerk was quietly sorting through piles of documents.
The moment Caelum walked in, he smiled brightly.
"Grandma! I’d like to register this new bird!"
He shamelessly addressed her as "Grandma."
And as expected, the elderly woman’s smile immediately became much warmer.
Several academy staff members were also working inside the office.
Although students rarely noticed them, these people maintained the official records for every summoned creature and tamed beast within the academy.
Should a summon ever cause trouble, tracing its owner would be effortless.
"Well then, child," the elderly woman said kindly after examining the E-Boy.
"Since this is a tamed bird, it will need an official name. Have you decided on one yet?"
Caelum thought for a few moments before lifting the E-Boy until they were face to face.
The bird looked back proudly.
"Henceforth, thou shall be named Jinx!" Caelum declared.
The majestic E-Boy’s eyes widened.
Its instincts immediately told it this was an incredibly suspicious and inauspicious name.
Unfortunately, before it could protest, the registration had already been completed.
Paul silently accepted the bird into his arms.
That day, the E-Boy officially became Jinx.
Meanwhile, not far from the [Beast & Summoning Grounds], a massive chameleon that continuously shifted through countless colors was being dragged away by several school officials.
The creature struggled desperately, changing colors so rapidly that it almost resembled a living rainbow.
Alongside the unfortunate chameleon walked three familiar figures.
Erica, a blond-haired boy and somewhat surprisingly, Ethan Morvendrell.
