I never imagined Aquarina would want to wear armor literally made of wood and flames. But I was completely wrong about my girlfriend.
She probably wanted to improve her fire magic, and she believed this set would help. She wasn’t wrong.
After all, my blessing had granted her an affinity with fire, so it made sense that she wanted to grow stronger in it.
Still, deep down, I couldn’t help wanting to remain the only fire wielder on our team. I knew it was a childish and unrealistic wish.
Elements couldn’t be gatekept, after all. Even if everyone had a strong natural affinity for one thing, nothing stopped them from learning others.
Aquarina’s true specialization remained Water and Darkness, but it was still nice to see her embracing fire too.
She quickly equipped the full set by channeling her Spirit Energy. The armor responded instantly, recognizing her as its owner.

In a burst of light, the armor materialized around her body, covering most of it. Greaves and gauntlets shaped like fierce dragon claws protected her hands and feet, looking incredibly powerful.
A blazing cloak flared behind her once the set was complete, while floating swords of fire and wood orbited her form, making her look like a cool, mysterious adventurer from legend.
"I’m trying to get better at fire magic, so this should help a lot!" she said. Her helmet shapeshifted, freeing her face and hair. "Do I look good?"
"You look awesome!" I replied. "And... actually, there are still some items I haven’t checked yet. We got more stuff for Luck, but what’s this? Seeds?"
The strangest items were indeed seeds, seeds for Treant monsters. Even the giant boss had left behind a seed.
"Do I have to eat these?" I wondered aloud.
"You could," Alice said, "but why not check their description first?"
"Hm?"

A special seed that, once germinated, will give birth to an Infernal Treant Monster between Tier 5 and 6. The Treants will obey whoever plants the seeds.

A special seed that, once germinated, will give birth to a powerful Infernal Spirit Treant King between Tier 6 and 7. The Treant King will obey whoever plants the seeds.

A special seed that, once germinated, will give birth to the mighty Infernal Spirit Dragon Treant King between Tier 7 and 8. The Treant King will obey whoever plants the seeds.
"Okay, so if I plant them, I get Treants as pets? For real?" I asked, surprised. "That’s actually really interesting. Maybe we could plant them in Armageddon’s Divine Realm and create stronger forests there..."
"Wait, Sylphy, I have an idea," Yggdra said. "Can I absorb them?"
"You want to absorb them?" I asked.
"I believe I can take their power if I do," Yggdra nodded. "And maybe... unlock something similar."
"Oh?!" I was genuinely surprised. "That sounds amazing!"
"Later, I might expand this purified species across the stars surrounding my own Divine Realm," Yggdra added.
Wait... was she jealous of Armageddon’s Divine Realm?
Well, she wasn’t wrong. And Armageddon already had plenty, right?
"You want to eat them all?" I asked.
"I will compress and assimilate them," she replied, extending her open hands. "Hmph!"
FLUOSH!
All the seeds fused and compressed into a single, deep red seed that burned with flames far more intense than anything we had ever seen.
Then Yggdra swallowed it. Her green aura immediately began shifting into a blazing red. From that crimson glow, her body started to transform.
Her smooth white skin turned into rich dark brown bark, while her green plant-like hair shifted into flowing autumn leaves and flickering flames. Her eyes became bright red and gold, and her antlers morphed into majestic dragon horns made of glowing golden metallic wood.
She grew a long, powerful dragon tail and wings, overflowing with draconic energy. She became noticeably taller and even more voluptuous... and undeniably sexier.
BOOOM!
A violent explosion of flames erupted from her the moment her evolution completed. Her aura surged wildly, spreading a blazing forest of fire all around us.
"Hmm! So this is the power the Treant King wielded," she said, nodding with satisfaction. "Incredible. I will make excellent use of it. If there was one weakness I acknowledged, it was my lack of a true offensive form. I am a tree, after all. There is only so much that just leaves and wood can do. But combining it with flames like this...? Such a combination is incredibly rare. Most monsters of this type tend die before they are ever discovered. I couldn’t let this opportunity pass."
"I see. So that’s why you wanted it so badly," I said, nodding. "You even gained a draconic appearance? Are you a dragon now?"
"Not completely, of course. This is only a partial Draconification, mostly coming from... wait, he gained this power from the curse!" Yggdra revealed.
"Wait, what? The curse?!" Aquarina, Ignatius, Nephilim, and everyone else present reacted with shock.
Nephilim nodded, summoning wyvern-shaped fire spirits around her. "Yes. This draconic force is a special ability inherited from the curse. Even though the curse has been purified, the ability remained and has now passed to me. It feels ancient... it originates from a true dragon."
"A true dragon?!" Ignatius asked, stunned. "W-What does that even mean? You’re saying the origin of the curse is a true dragon?"
"I don’t know for certain," Yggdra shook her head.
"But that’s strange," I said. "I saw a huge bug when I destroyed the curse. That couldn’t have been a dragon..."
"Unless whatever is behind this curse isn’t a single entity, but many," Yggdra wondered. Her draconic eyes sharpened dangerously. "I wonder... just what is really happening inside that Dungeon? Until we purify all of them, it’s too dangerous to enter, but... I have a very bad feeling about it."
"Well, me too," I admitted. "We’ll have to find out ourselves eventually. For now, is the power good?"
"Yes, it’s fantastic," Yggdra nodded. "I even gained a new Skill..."
"Oh?"
