Chapter 285: Revenge
Outside the tomb, all elders who had been waiting for their disciples to be able to win something from this ruin had been waiting with expectations. They wished their disciples were the ones to win, not the other sects.
Elder Li Mu stood on top of the flying ship with a calm expression. He didn’t know why but Albert seemed to be able to do something, especially with Gin as his help. He never saw someone as smart as Gin and someone as talented as Albert. With those two, they should be able to do something.
Soon, a great change suddenly appeared in the ruin. They could see cracks starting to appear in the air.
"What?"
"Cracks?"
"This ruin has been concealed the whole time because of an Array. If that’s the case, this crack means someone has cleared the inheritance and the array has no more purpose!"
When everyone heard this statement, their eyes brightened. They started praying that their disciples were the one doing it.
And the first one to appear was none other than the young saint of the Joyful Union Sect, Xiang Fei.
Xiang Fei was exhausted as if he was followed by something. And his state wasn’t that good either.
The elders from the Joyful Union Sect actually misunderstood his condition. They thought Xiang Fei was in this situation because he received the inheritance and the rest of the people tried to rob him.
"Young Master!" The elders tried to go to him, protecting him from all harms. "Don’t worry, Young Master. We’re going to protect you from now on. We shall tell this joyous news to the patriarch and we’ll see who can be compared to us anymore!"
Other elders furrowed their eyebrows. The Five Elements Mountain who had been hostile this whole time immediately made their move by approaching them.
"What are you planning to do? Are you going to fight us?" The elders from the Joyful Union Sect glared at Li Mu and the others, ready to fight their way out of this.
However, the one that broke the silence was Xiang Fei. "You idiot!"
"Young Master?" The elders widened their eyes in shock.
"The Five Elements Mountain had killed all the disciples from the Joyful Union Sect and stole the Yin Yang Bell. If not for my power, I would have died inside the realm!"
"!!!" This statement shocked all elders.
"What? Did they ambush the Joyful Union Sect?"
"If that’s the case, there will only be a war between the two influences."
"This is not looking good."
"Five Elements Mountain!" One of the elders from the Joyful Union Sect roared. "Don’t you think you have to explain to us what do you mean by your action?"
"What are you talking about?" Li Mu smirked, taking his anger head-on.
"What do I mean? If not for your disciples ambushing our disciples, do you think you can do all this?"
"I don’t know what you’re talking about. Ambush?"
"Elder Han..." Xiang Fei gritted his teeth and told the truth. "The one who did it was a Demon Dog from the Five Elements Mountain. He alone killed the Joyful Union Sect’s disciples."
Once again, Xiang Fei stunned everyone in this area. After all, there was no way someone that strong to be here. If that was the case, the Five Elements Mountain must have put an elder to infiltrate this place by camouflaging their cultivation. But the array should be working properly, so no one with Empty Void Stage cultivation to be there. So, no one could understand what truly had happened.
But they were lucky because the disciples from all sects were transported back in this region.
Everyone immediately approached the other disciples, especially the elders from the Five Elements Mountain since they didn’t want them to die if the elders from the Joyful Union Sect decided to attack them.
Those elders were looking around to find the disciples from the Joyful Union Sect and noticed the remaining disciples to be following Zhan Hong.
"Zhan Hong, you..."
Zhan Hong smiled and politely nodded his head. "Amithaba. These disciples have found the light, so I, Zhan Hong, will help them to preach the way of Buddha."
"We’re thankful for your help in the sect, elders. But we’re going to atone our sins by following Zhan Hong." The disciples from the Joyful Union Sect politely clasped their hands as if they had truly changed.
"You... You..." The elders wanted to spat a mouthful of blood from anger.
But it didn’t stop there because there was one more person that everyone should have taken a look. She was none other than Mu Yanxue.
"Mu Yanxue. You are a Core Disciple of our sect!"
"The sect has treated Yanxue poorly, even enslaving me. Thanks to Master, Yanxue has been freed. From this point on, Yanxue wants to dedicate her life for Master. "Five Elements Mountain." One of the elders from the Joyful Union Sect couldn’t contain his anger and waved his hand, summoning a huge palm above the Five Elements Mountain’s ship.
However, Li Mu appeared in front of that palm and touched the palm with a single finger. In that instant, the palm was covered in a thick layer of ice before breaking apart into particles.
"What do you think you’re doing?" Li Mu looked at them with a cold gaze.
"Li Mu." He gritted his teeth. "Do you think your Five Elements Mountain can do all this without consequence?"
Suddenly, a gentle voice’s echoed in everyone’s ears.
"What is happening here?"
They turned around and saw a figure appearing in the sky. The elders from the Joyful Union Sect instantly recognized him.
"You..."
"You..."
"Ancestor!"
"!!!" That statement gave a huge shock to all elders because this was the remnant soul of the ancestor of the Joyful Union Sect. Even if he had died, the power of a Transcendent Level Expert wasn’t a joke.
The elder from the Joyful Union Sect laughed while pointing at Li Mu, whose face became pale. "Hahaha, serve you right, Five Elements Mountain. You must not know that this tomb is my ancestor’s tomb. Our ancestor will be avenging all the disciples who have lost their lives today!"
