Chapter 263: Flying Ark
They spent that one month to prepare themselves. Since the First Elder had agreed to teach Gin about everything he needed as an Array Master, he often visited the peak.
Meanwhile, Albert’s house had been started to build and it was expected to finish after they returned from the ancient ruin.
Albert, Gin, and Natasha had agreed to share the house, so Natasha would be the first to live in that house since she didn’t go to the ancient ruin.
There were numerous disciples that were participating in this expedition. All Core and True Disciples joined since they had the chance to become the Mountain Master with this inheritance.
Some of the Inner Disciples also wanted to join, but they were unlikely to win due to their lack of strength.
Even then, the total of the participants this time numbered at five hundred. The other sects also sent a similar number of people. Still, the people believed that there would be a huge conflict between the Five Elements Mountain and the Joyful Union Sect.
It seemed Gin had been popularizing the bonk array. Yes, he remade a few arrays to incorporate the power of bonk, allowing him to give some confidence in taking down the enemies.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t really produce all the array. So, the First Elder brought his disciples to help with the creation of the array and equipped these True Disciples and some Core Disciples with the array. It was only a Grandmaster Level Array, but if their opponent was the Joyful Union Sect, the power was equivalent to that of a King Level Array.
The Mountain Master wanted to use this opportunity to see whether the bonk power was effective or not.
Of course, Gin was laughing this whole time. He had been claiming that he would create a new element and turn the sect into Six Elements Mountain with the last mountain being the Bonk Mountain.
He thought it would be funny to have a Bonk Peak, the peak where people learned the path of bonk.
Unlike Magic where they required Albert’s approval to receive this power, Gin managed to replicate the bonk power with the Array. With this, there was no need for Albert to grant them the permission to wield bonk power.
Gin truly became a fanatic in the way of bonk. He wanted to create the legion of bonk in every continent in the future.
Even Albert never expected it coming. Gin might truly be his best catch this whole time.
Before leaving the Five Elements Mountain, every disciple was gathered in a single plaza with the Mountain Master giving his speech.
"I know that this is going to be a dangerous mission. However, I want everyone to think that we are one and united. Instead of focusing on yourself, we should band together and defeat all enemies. Kunlun Mountain, Ancient Buddha Sect, Heavenly Sword Sect, and Divine Kingdom are not an ally, but you’re free to forge an alliance with them.
"But Joyful Union Sect is our enemies. Because of our talent in elements, our body is rich of Spiritual Energy. They have been capturing our disciples to suck them dry and this can’t continue. If you meet the Joyful Union Sect, kill without mercy."
His last statement made people suck a cold breath. This was the first time the Mountain Master declared this wildly. Although there was never a war between the two influences, this might be the first time they were so close to war.
And the Mountain Master almost declared it earlier. Still, he held back and clasped his hands, saying, "May fortune bless you with its presence."
All disciples clasped their hands to thank the Mountain Master.
All of them boarded a giant ark wooden ark. This was the first time Albert and Gin boarded in any of these.
It seemed the ship was the creation of the Five Elements Mountain. This mountain had thousands of arrays that allowed the ark to float in the air.
"This is..." Albert was impressed as he looked around the deck. Gin, on the other hand, was mesmerized with the amount of the arrays. He went to the edge and looked down, finding around one thousand arrays all around the ship producing a wind to make it float. There was also many hidden arrays to be used as a defensive barrier or an offensive array.
"Do you like it?" The First Elder suddenly approached them.
"Yes, I like it so much." Gin nodded. Due to the use of this ark, they asked the First, Second, and Third Elder to guide the disciples. So, it wasn’t a surprise for the First Elder to be here.
’This is a flying ship, huh... No, more like an airplane cultivation continent version.’ Albert thought while waiting for Gin to finish his matter with the First Elder.
"There are so many arrays here and there. The bottom part is used to make this ark fly. Then, the middle part is used to either defend or the rowing part to decide our course. Then, the top part is filled with offensive arrays to shoot down our enemies." Gin then turned to the front. "Ah, there is something like a thin barrier that neutralizes the wind? Is it to prevent us from getting blown away?"
"Yes. Though, it’s mainly used for comfort since you’re usually flying at this speed." The First Elder nodded, confirming his suspicion.
"I see. I haven’t seen the interior, so I can’t say anything more." Gin was so excited when he saw many different concepts of array. It would take a long time and a lot of work, but it was indeed possible to rebuild the modern civilizations with the use of array.
"Since you haven’t gone inside, I think I should lead you to your room first. After all, the travel will take around two days. There are plenty of times to roam around the ark." The First Elder smiled before turning to Albert. "You too."
Albert nodded and thanked the First Elder as Gin followed right after. Then, the First Elder guided them inside to get their room.
