Chapter 251: Foolish Indeed

"Mhm... Mhm..." The salamander was humming while staring at Albert.

"What?" Albert rolled his eyes.

"What did you say about the enemies again? They haven’t appeared. Are you just trying to scare me?" The salamander narrowed his eyes, annoyed.

"No. They’re following us right now. It’s just they’re too quiet. I don’t know who they are... They might be from the Su Family who wants to kill me... Or they might be from the Mountain Master to check my identity."

"So, what are you planning to do?"

"I’m going to head in this direction for another day since we’ll be close to our destination at that time. After that, we’ll approach them to make sure of their identity. If they’re enemies, we’ll eliminate them. If they’re allies, we’ll try to lose them."

"Alright then." The salamander nodded. "I hope they’re enemies since I can kill them without hesitation."

"Absolutely barbaric."

"I just want to know my strength on this continent."

"Yeah, yeah." Albert rolled his eyes.

After coming to an agreement, the duo continued for a while, heading straight to their destination. The trip didn’t last too long because a cultivator didn’t need to sleep during the night, so they could continue flying for a long time with little energy.

As soon as the moon was on top of them, Albert disappeared in the dark.

This action obviously invited a huge disruption for those tailing him.

"!!!"

"Where is he?"

Eight people were stunned and immediately looked around, trying to find Albert.

"Did he find out about us?"

When that question was uttered, Albert’s voice resounded in their ears. "All this time. So, what are you doing here, tailing me from the sect? To think you would even wear a black suit that covers your entire body except for your eyes... Not feeling tight?"

Albert appeared behind them, looking at these eight people. Just like he said, the eight people wore tight black suits that covered their entire body. Of course, he could see that two of them were female while the rest were male. However, that was irrelevant. Whether they were women or men, he would still bonk them to death because they had been tailing him.

As predicted, they turned out to be enemies. When they found Albert, they immediately rushed forward while shouting, "Kill him!"

"Why did you wait this whole time? Are you going to use my battle against Mo Xietian to ambush me?" Albert smirked. "Su Family bastards."

When they heard Albert scolding the Su Family, two of them were enraged, giving away their identity.

"You bastard!" Two of them sped up and plunged their swords to Albert’s neck, only to be stopped by his bonk bat.

"Thanks for that reaction." Albert smiled because he had gotten their identities. There was no need to hold back anymore. He had checked their names and levels as well. Since half of them had Su for their Surname, he scolded the Su Family to prove his theory. Now that he knew their levels were a bit lower than he expected, he didn’t need to hold back anymore. "Kill them."

The people were confused because it felt like Albert was talking alone since they hadn’t discovered the salamander that was talking to him inside his clothes this whole time. Everything was for this.

Suddenly, the night darkness was lit up as if the sun just fell down.

All of them turned around and saw a huge salamander looking down on them. Even its foot was about to stomp them.

"Move!" One of the assassins shouted as the rest leaped to the side.

Albert took this chance to use his Anti-Horny Blink, appearing behind one of the targets and smacking his head with all his strength.

Torture Bat.

"Gah!" A shout suddenly appeared and disappeared, alarming them.

When they turned around, they saw one of them had his head destroyed by a metal bat that had many spikes around it. This was an 8-Star Metal Spell he learned before coming to this continent. The effect was truly useful since it improved his overall strength.

"Three of you handle that salamander, the other four will attack this demon!"

Their reaction was quick as the group split up into two. Unfortunately, that was the worst move against their current opponent.

Albert raised his hand and formed a wind bonk bat in the sky.

"This is something I just learned. Taste it." Albert smirked.

Sky Glorifying Bonk.

Seeing that huge wind bonk, the salamander opened his mouth and released a fire breath as the wind instantly was covered by fire. With the combination of wind and fire, the Sky Glorifying Bonk became even fiercer.

"You should have something to put off the fire, right?" The salamander said while smiling.

"Of course. No need to hold back." Albert nodded and pushed the fire bonk downwards.

The moment it touched the ground, the bonk bat burst out in all directions, sweeping the entire place. Albert hid behind the salamander while the rest of the people faced this extraordinary flame.

The flames from the salamander were fierce since it came from the magma. It burnt tree in seconds. Some even melted.

There was no way they could survive in this extraordinary fire. However, it seemed Albert had underestimated them a little bit.

Two of them somehow survived inside a spherical barrier that was starting to melt.

"You bastard! Do you know who we are? If you kill us, the Su Family won’t let you off."

"..." Yeah, Albert underestimated two things. First was their life-saving ability, which seemed to be a scroll that they opened to form that barrier while the other was their intelligence.

"You want to kill me and I can’t fight back? Seriously?" Albert chuckled.

"What Gin said is true. They are truly foolish. Kill them?"

"You can melt that barrier down with your magma, right?"

The salamander smirked and immediately spurted a mouthful of magma that hit right above the barrier, melting down. The moment they touched that lava, the human bodies also melted, killing them in the process.

"Well, that was easy. Why did they even bother sending eight people at my level... They should have brought their elders or leader to make sure they kill me... Are they pitying me?" Albert shook his head helplessly.

"Gin said they will come in stages. First, they will just send multiple people and the difficulty will increase gradually. By the time they send people stronger than you, you have gotten as strong as them."

"Foolish indeed." Albert nodded in agreement. "Anyway, they’re not that important. Let me put off the fire."

Albert immediately pushed the matter away from his mind and started using his Water Spell to extinguish the fire while the salamander was disappointed that the battle couldn’t be more exciting.
