Chapter 224: Preparation
"As expected of the Wise Man, no one can surpass your wisdom as well as your insight." Lilith smiled, not having to say anything. "As you said earlier, we wish for the union between the humans and demons because of the invasion. There’s no way we can fight them alone due to their strength, so it’s better to go at them together.
"If you think just because the enemy are mostly humans, you can join side with them... Then, let me continue this interrogation. I have been through this once, so I will show you all their information." Lilith smiled.
She began to interrogate Su Yue so that everyone could learn everything about their Cultivation, Culture, and Strength.
These three factors were the most important. Once they learned the truth, Lilith used the guy next to her to prove whatever she said.
When that was enough, all the people in the meeting finally realized why the Seven Demon Kings asked for the union.
The situation was truly dire. Even as a fellow human, these cultivators thought them as nothing but slaves or materials.

"What? You... you have sold your country to the enemy? Are you insane, Brave King? You would sacrifice millions of people just to save your life? I have never expected that the Brave King would turn out to be a Coward King."
The words were nonsense and came out of nowhere for the Kings in the meeting. But the soldiers viewed it in a different light, especially after what the following party said.
"Please calm down, Wise Man. We still have the time to fix this..."
"How can I calm down, Pope? Do you know what he’s doing? Whether it’s a human or demon, he’s selling the information to our enemies. Do you know that tens of millions of lives are at stake because of what he did?" The Wise Man continued his anger, influencing the people’s opinion.

However, he still had his oath that he would respectfully obey the king and the royal family for everything. So, the Wise Man allowed the Bow Saint to place his hand on Edward as a symbol of him restraining Edward.
This way, it would look like Edward had no chance to save the king, pertaining his honor as the Captain of the Royal Guard. Even then, he didn’t know whether the situation would be the same or not.
With the soldiers listening to this conversation, the nobles would certainly do a coup d’etat. When that happened, the situation in their Terrai Kingdom would be chaotic.
However, the Wise Man had taken everything in his calculation and planned to solve the issue with the help of the other kings. That was why Edward was a bit assured with the future of the kingdom.
Still, the soldiers immediately made a fuss with their conversation. The other soldiers immediately frowned when they looked at the soldiers from the Terrai Kingdom while the latter dropped to their knees, falling into despair.
They never thought that the gallant Brave King would do something like that. They truly lost hope in the kingdom and the royal family.
Meanwhile, the Wise Man immediately proposed a simple yet effective plan for the union. "Since the invasion is going to be carried out in one year, we need to dispatch people as soon as possible... After all, they need time to grow their understanding as well as their strength there.

Or in the worst case, we can go to the Demon Realm and manipulate them there."
"I’m fine with it. As for the others..." The Wise Man turned to his left and got a nod from the pope and the Bow Saint. He then turned to the right and got the agreement from the Wealthiest Man from the Sunar Kingdom.
After that, he looked at the three braves, excluding the hero. In fact, the hero’s current behavior might have been severely affected by the Brave King, so he wondered whether the hero could still be fixed or not.
Still, the most important people were those three, the Saintess, the Magic Empress, and the Sniper.

The Bow Saint smiled and nodded his head. "I know you would say that. I can’t do much this time, but at least, you should use my bow when you’re there. I hope that it can protect you."
"Thank you, Master." The Sniper nodded deeply, moved by his care.
"Mhm..." The Magic Empress was still wondering whether it was the right thing to do or not. After all, she was staying in the famous Trade City, the capital of the Sunar Kingdom.
