Chapter 219: Invitation

Terrai Kingdom.

"This is bad, Your Majesty." A middle-aged man rushed into the hall, bringing a huge scroll.

The nobles that stood inside the hall wanted to snarl at him, yet, they became silent when they saw a huge scroll with a purple seal on it.

That seal symbolized the scroll’s identity as only one kingdom would use that seal.

The king narrowed his eyes and asked with a grim tone. "What’s wrong? Does the Lust Kingdom plan to send our hero back?"

"No. A messenger came in and brought this scroll, asking the guard to send this invitation to you." The middle-aged man shook his head as he also didn’t know the scroll’s content.

"Hahaha. Does the Lust Kingdom plan to surrender now that they’re going to be skirmished by all kingdoms?"

"That’s it. They can’t withstand all our might."

"The hero is useless but at least, he can still be used as an alliance."

"It’s the time for our kingdom to show our might."

The nobles were cheering over a small victory they thought they had.

Even the king smiled as he said, "Such a victory is indeed worth celebrating."

"NO!" The middle-aged man suddenly shouted, turning the celebration mood to complete silence.

"Presumptous. What are you doing? Just throw that scroll away!" One of the nobles snarled, having enough with this guy’s attitude. "No matter what the Lust Kingdom demanded, we wouldn’t comply because their destruction is nothing but assured."

"NO!" The middle-aged man’s body was shaking, but he seemed to be firm enough to tell the truth. He stated with a trembling voice. "I’m afraid... We’re not winning."

"You bastard!"

"You must be a traitor!"

The nobles began to rage and berate this guy, but the middle-aged man still held the scroll tightly as he said, "Your Majesty. I’m afraid you need to see this because... because..."

The man’s face became pale as he remembered what happened previously.

Even the king could see something different from their expectation. He squinted his eyes and raised his hand. "Silence!"

Hearing his shout, all the words seemed to be stuck on the nobles’ throats.

The king looked at the man and asked, "Because of what?"

"Because..." The middle-aged man still couldn’t say it. He was scared beyond anyone’s imagination. However, for the sake of the kingdom, the middle-aged man gritted his teeth and stated the reason. "Because the one who sent this scroll was none other than the Dragon of Destruction, Lugalith Se Wrath."

*Thud!*

*Hiss!*

A noble dropped his walking stick while most of them sucked a cold breath. They obviously couldn’t believe what he said.

"Impossible! You must be mistaken!" One of them shouted, denying his claim.

When the nobles were about to begin their rampage, the middle-aged guy looked at the king with a pale face. "I..."

He remembered what happened a few minutes ago.

He was doing his paperworks like the usual day before he sensed a powerful energy coming toward the castle.

At that instant, he immediately left his room to protect the castle. However, the only one he found from that enormous energy was a female with red hair.

Her sharp eyes gave a fierce fear that made the world tremble. Her pair of horns and aloof face gave away her identity.

Obviously, someone as strong as her would be picked up by all the strong people inside the capital and all the people in the way.

When she arrived in front of the castle, she had been surrounded by a barrier formed by the captain and vice captain of the Royal Magicians as well as the Marshall and the Captain of the Royal Guard.

These four people were the strongest force of this kingdom. So, even the Dragon Queen couldn’t kill the king even if she tried to sneak attack.

The only reason why she could arrive at the capital was due to the scroll she showed to these four.

"Dragon Queen. We only allowed you here this far because you’re a messenger. But if you tried to do anything funny, we wouldn’t hesitate to kill you."

"Really? This is your chance to kill me." The Dragon Queen smirked as she released her fighting intent and wrath.

The ordinary people on the street immediately passed out from a single eruption, which was suppressed instantly by those four.

"Dragon Queen!" The Marshall gritted his teeth as he started releasing his killing intent.

"Fine, fine. I shouldn’t have agreed to Lilith... Tsk, to think she dared to use me as a messenger." The Dragon Queen clicked her tongue and saw an unarmed man coming outside who still managed to withstand her pressure. She tossed the scroll to him, the middle-aged man, and said, "There you go. Now that I have left the message, are the four of you going to follow me to the other four kingdoms? I don’t really mind though since it will make my job easier. It will be best if you can give them the message... Not that I can trust you with it."

After saying those words, the Dragon Queen as well as the four people disappeared from the city.

Even though the four people were enough to fight against her, they couldn’t kill her easily since her strength surpassed them. Seeing how she was still in her humanoid form instead of her true form showed that she wasn’t planning to destroy their castle or anything.

That was why she allowed her to come in this far or she would have fought all these four.

And that middle-aged man who still maintained his consciousness ended up becoming the man responsible to bring this message.

Recalling that scene and the fear he had during that few exchanges, the man said to the king. "I might not be a man with deep knowledge, but there’s no way that our Marshall, Royal Guard’s Captain, the Captain and Vice Captain of our Royal Magicians would mistake the Dragon Queen."

When that statement was out, the hall turned silent as some people even gulped down when the man mentioned those four people. They were the strongest people in the kingdom, so they shouldn’t mistake such a person.

The only reason they couldn’t feel anything must be due to the barrier that the Royal Magicians had set up as well as those four efforts in neutralizing her power.

Little did they know, their reaction was the same as how the people from the other kingdoms would react.

The Holy Kingdom would even send the pope as well as all the archbishops to stop her.

The king fell silent for a moment, falling into deep thought.

"But that purple seal... no one should have it other than the Lust Kingdom."

"What’s going on?"

The nobles were in confusion as they couldn’t find any relationship the Lust and Wrath Kingdoms had.

However, the middle-aged man recited every single word the Dragon Queen said at that time.

And those words struck fear in everyone’s heart. Even the king couldn’t help but say, "The Dragon Queen agreed to the Succubus Queen... I’m afraid that agreement is not as simply as two demon kingdoms’ agreement..."

"Your Majesty..."

"May we ask what do you mean?"

The king pinched the bridge of his nose before explaining a bit. "All demon kings are equal. Yet, for whatever reason, the Dragon Queen agreed to become a messenger. There’s no way the Dragon Queen would do something like that unless..."

"Unless..." The nobles muttered as the suspense was killing them.

But deep in their heart, they already knew the answer. The Dragon Queen wouldn’t agree to this unless she had become someone’s subordinate.

The king gritted his teeth and shouted. "Open the seal and read it!"

"Y-yes!" The middle-aged man was frightened but still followed his order. He broke the seal apart and opened the scroll.

Even with his hands trembling, he still recited everything while turning his brain off as he couldn’t stutter when speaking no matter how big the matter written inside.

"The Seven Thrones have decided to invite the King of Terrai Kingdom to the Human and Demon Assembly."

"!!!" The nobles were stunned while the king opened his eyes wide, finally showing a surprised face.

"Seven Thrones..."

"That’s the title only used when all the Demon Kings agreed to a decision. That means... the one that sent the message was not the succubus queen, but all the seven Demon Kings?"

"The Demon Kings have joined hands?"

"Is this the end of the human race?"

"We have summoned our braves."

"But the Hero and the Great Sage have been captured together with the princess and two h*es."

The nobles were confused and scared at the same time. They never expected that instead of the Lust Kingdom surrendering to them, the Demon Kings joined hands to fight together.

However, the man continued to recite the rest of the message.

"The meeting between the humans and demons are going to be held at the Heinan Plain. The Seven Thrones demand the participation of the ruler of the kingdoms to appear as all the Demon Kings shall be present that day.

"Henceforth, if the ruler doesn’t appear, it will mean he’s the traitor of the human race and shall be destroyed to remove a future threat."
