Chapter 217: Albert’s Identity
In a grand white hall was a huge round table, taking almost a quarter of the hall. There were seven thrones. They had a symbol to represent their identities.
The first one to enter the hall was none other than the Pride King. He brought three people who stopped near the entrance.
He didn’t want to be late to keep his pride after all.
The rest of the Demon Kings entered in succession, bringing their own aides together with them.
Ultimately, there were 25 people participating in this meeting.
Still, the Lust Queen, Lilith excluded such a charm that not many could resist. Even the aides that the other Demon Kings brought with them were elites among elites.
Some of them even hurt themselves to resist her charm.
"As always that annoying charm." The Dragon Queen gritted her teeth, wanting to blow up the anger she had pent up this whole time.
"I can’t contain it. It’s so natural that I’m charming." Lilith shrugged and waved her hair as if trying to make her more beautiful.
"..." The Dragon Queen gritted her teeth and stopped saying anything or she might release all her power just to fight with her.
The Werewolf King then stated with a cold tone. "Enough with that. We come here not to chat around. Speak! For what purpose did you want us to come here, Lilith?!"
Lilith’s nonchalant expression became serious all of a sudden as she slammed the table. The sound echoing in the hall somehow made the atmosphere become even more serious.
"The world that we know might soon come to an end."
"!!!" The moment they heard those words, the other Demon Kings frowned in surprise. As much as they wanted to brush it, they couldn’t do it.
Lilith dared to take on all the human kingdoms along with the Gluttony Kingdom, there was no need to joke about such a thing. Hence, what she said must be something even greater than the human kingdoms.
"And what kind of threat are you talking about?" The Werewolf King asked.
However, the first to answer was none other than the Vampire King, Keir. "Another continent..."
"!!!" They all turned to Keir with a dumbfounded face. Even the Werewolf King asked, "Do you know something that we don’t know, Keir?"
"I happened to hear it..." The Vampire King smiled before looking at Lilith. "What should I call him, Lilith?"
The question’s intention was clear. The Vampire King was threatening Lilith with Albert’s identity. If everyone knew about the Demon Lord, the peace they had would shatter in an instant.
However, Lilith had made some preparations beforehand. So, she said, "My husband makes me aware that we’re not alone in this world."
"So, what’s about that? Do you think I will believe it? Do you think I haven’t searched the sea, Lilith?" The Leviathan squinted his eyes, glaring at Lilith. "You should know my personality. There’s no way I am not doing anything."
"I know you have explored the sea, but there are two things that I believe the reason why you can’t find anything." Lilith smiled and pointed at the map located in the middle of the table. "Take a look at the map."
The Demon Kings followed her instruction as Lilith continued, "How many days will it take for you to roam all around the map and search every corner, including the plain, savanna, and other boring places?"
"..." All of them fell silent before the Pride King stated, "If it’s myself, I can do it in six months. If I bring my subordinates, I can do it in two weeks."
"That’s right. We’re only talking about this small continent... What if I told you that this continent is just a small part of the world we live in?" Lilith smirked.
"A small part?" The Werewolf King, the Dragon King, and the Devil were shocked as they had some excitement when they heard this statement.
"Yes. Have you and your people explored all the areas in our surroundings?" Lilith turned to the Leviathan. "How far have you gone? According to my fiance, the planet we live in should be covered mostly by water or the place won’t be humid enough for us to live. Hence, my conclusion."
"A small place..." The Leviathan furrowed his eyebrows, looking down and falling into deep thought.
"I don’t know the principal behind it, but you should know that I have captured the—"
"Wait, Lilith." The Devil suddenly stopped Lilith as though she noticed something. "Your fiance... Can you give him to me?"
The greedy eyes seemed to have picked their target. Even Lilith turned grim.
"What? Do you want to say that those braves are the one confirming such a thing from another world? That doesn’t make sense. After all, it’s your fiance’s statement at first." The Devil smirked and presented her argument. "What kind of person would have that kind knowledge in our place?
"If you’re going to state that he’s a researcher, how about you explain to me why the Vampire King kneeled to your fiance? Hence, the question is... What is your fiance’s identity, Lilith?"
The grin on the Devil’s face became even bigger as she said one last statement that shocked the hall. "Is he also a person from another world?"
"!!!" The aides of all Demon Kings sucked a cold breath as they never heard anything about a demon coming from another world.
However, the rest of the Demon Kings immediately thought of one person according to the history. And when they linked it up with the action the Vampire King took that day, it was enough to convince them.
"So, the Demon Lord has descended..." The Werewolf King squinted his eyes. "I have always thought it weird... There is no one who has that kind of ability in this world. He can even teach the anomalies like it’s a normal thing to do. It makes me wonder what kind of ability he has... And it turns out..."
The Vampire King closed his eyes as he had said enough. Still, as expected of the Greed Demon King, her thirst toward everything was endless. Knowledge, wealth, and other things... nothing escaped her greed. That was why she instantly picked up Albert’s identity from the clues alone.
"And to think you would monopolize him..." The Devil smirked. "That’s not good, Lilith. The only one that can monopolize him is me."
’No, no, no. You can’t either.’ All of the Demon Kings thought at the same time.
"As much as I want to deny this possibility, if we’re talking about the ancient record..." The Leviathan turned to the Devil. "I’m sure that you’re the most knowledgeable among us. Would you share your wisdom with us?"
"A Demon Lord, huh. To be honest, there are not many records about him and there’s no proof either. Most of the records come from ancient books or mouth to mouth." The Devil paused for a moment. "So, I will list of all the clues..."
"There are five big clues for the appearance of the Demon Lord. First, he is to have all seven sins. Using those sins, he can wield all elements. Third, the Demon Lord is the symbol of liberation as he truly made a place for us after the dark period. As for the last two clues, he came from another world and he lived as a human in the past. That was why he acted like a demon but had a heart of a human."
The Devil turned to Lilith. "If we believe that he came from another world, have you checked whether he was a human or not? The second clue has been confirmed anyway, so that leaves the first and third conditions."
The Vampire King somehow assisted with the clarification by saying, "I heard the other world only has humans... according to those braves. And it seems Sir Albert came from the same world."
"You are not joking?" The Devil squinted his eyes.
The Vampire King didn’t answer her as his action that day was enough for an answer.
The Devil squinted her eyes and turned to Lilith. "How about the other two clues? Does he have all seven sins? And can he become the symbol of liberation? Seeing how the situation is unfold, there must be a hidden threat that is aiming at our throats... And because the human side has their braves, that threat must be for all of us, including the humans. What kind of threat is that?"
"From another continent." The Vampire King shrugged as he had already told them since the beginning.
"Another continent..." The Leviathan squinted his eyes.
"I’m not sure myself, but I think Lilith has an answer that you seek." The Vampire King turned everyone’s attention to Lilith again.
Lilith maintained her calm but she was already annoyed by the Vampire King that she truly wanted to fight it out. She finally raised her hand, giving a signal to her subordinates. "Bring them in."
Her aides immediately left the room and returned, dragging two people into the room. They still had their original clothes, which made them even weirder since the Demon Kings never saw clothes like these.
"I have told you to prepare the best dispel magician along with your best interrogator... So, just ask them anything." Lilith snapped her fingers and said, "I have released them from the charm spell."
