Chapter 95: Family Part 6: A Gifted god
"Thank you, I’m sorry for appearing so urgently, but things in Paradise are not as they seem. I fear there is a spy among us. Fortunately, Lox has been reporting to me all of his findings."
"Oh, no! That’s terrible! Anything we can do to help?"
"You’ve done quite enough my dear, as has Sora. I think it’s important you understand your son’s abilities. They are a unique combination of both of you. Although, his portal magic is something new and we have not seen."
"I’m worried about him losing control of time. The little guy can’t help it sometimes. If he senses one of us in danger, he unfroze Sora’s time spell at a day old. What happens if he tries to manipulate time like his Father and it goes out of control?"
"That is another reason I am here to talk to you. Your son can sense auras of people quite well. He also possesses time magic, both the aphrodite and lockheart spells but he also has one unique to you, as I’d like to call it, ’Reinhardt Unleashed."
"Unique to me?! Like human me?"
"Yes, human you. His vampiric control will grow to a point where he will be able to master every vampiric ability. I know you cannot control a child but I urge you, if things ever get too difficult or out of hand, move to MeadowSong. I know times more quickly from the outside world, but you and Sora wouldn’t miss a moment of him growing up."
"Ok, got it. What else can the little guy do?"
"That remains to be seen, but from what I’ve gathered, his portal magic may open doors for you to move from planet to planet. Whether you go and chase the demons, that is entirely up to you. I’d advise against it. Once they set the titans in motion, it will not be pretty and you two are not strong enough for that. Maybe when Xander is older."
"Thank you, for everything. I just can’t believe we have this gifted of a child!"
"It really surprises you. That’s what amazes me about you and your husband. Humility and compassion for others have always been at the forefront of your mind. There are plenty of new party members out there: find them."

Brie jolted awake.
"Mama! Did you see nana A-fen-a?" Xander said ecstatically.
"We have a genius. I mean, you’ve always been one Sora."
Sora stopped his wife with a kiss. "From the first moment I ever laid eyes on you, back in the abyss, you’ve always sold yourself short. You passed the trial of the gods!!! I stand by what I said back then, you’re a badass!"
Brie blushed and Sora teleported to his announcement room. Within 5 minutes, everyone walked into the living area and a happy Xander ran over to Jubelle and Ox.
"Uncle Jub Jub and Uncle Ox." Xander exclaimed.
"My gosh, this little guy melts my heart every time we see him. Are you sure you didn’t want to go to Prosperia later and meet with that girl at the children’s hospital? We have the serum from Nyx." Ox said as he gave Jubelle a kiss.
"Jub Jub! Ox! Baby! Xander wants fwiends!"
The party laughed and Lucious raised his hand. The party embraced for an announcement about a child...
"Sera and I have set a wedding date. It will be one month from today. It will be in the vampire settlement and all of you are welcome to come!"
Everyone applauded and cheered and Xander opened a portal to the vampire settlement.
"Papa Dowian and Nana Milla! Wook!"
Dorian and Camilla stood dumbfounded as they simply walked through the portal and ended up in Sora’s mansion.
"Seems the formerly impenetrable fortress has been taken down by a child, didn’t I tell you he’d be able to do unique magic Camilla? I was just telling her last night!"
"Yes, my vampire detective husband," Camilla said with a laugh.

"Ok, so the reason I’ve called you today is to discuss our plan moving forward. I don’t want to sit idly by while the demons go off on their soul-stealing adventure, but I believe Brie has some information on that," Sora said with a kind smile.
"I recently spoke with Athena and she advised against it. Essentially, what they do is send out thousands of titans and have Helen and Eris collect the souls of the dead. This gives them a power up."
"Why don’t we take the fight to Obsidian Hallow now?" Levi questioned.
"That’s a great question and one I’ve considered many times, Levi. If we move when they’re not here, we’re only hurting the demons that live there, the sins, the princes, the army, and the special forces. Azazel would just send back the titans and we risk losing all of Exteria. I’d rather continue to build our strength for when they bring the fight to us."
"But the window is so wide open Sora—just imagine, we’d be able to completely eliminate the werewolves and the demons in one fell swoop." Lucious added.
"I understand, truly, I do. But from what we know, Eris and Helen can create giant portals, much like Xander can, and through those portals come pouring out an enormous quantity of titans. Are we ready to put Exteria through that? I think that’d be pretty terrible leadership." Brie echoed Sora’s sentiment.
"We need to do something about the werewolves, though. We cannot let my Father inherit more power from these planets." Ox said dramatically.
"What do you suggest we do? Eliminate them? Same problem. Titans." Sora said with a frown.
"Are you saying we can’t beat the titans? Even with how strong we are now?" Leila asked.
"No, I don’t believe we can and if we could, it would be at the loss of too many of us. I think we owe it to the Steele family to give them a visit."
Xander made one wave of his hand and Levi saw his entire family through a portal.
"By the heavens, is that Sora Lockheart? Levi, have you been with him the entire time?!" Lionel Steele, Levi’s older brother, asked.
"Please don’t be upset with Levi. He agreed to my sealing magic in order to join my party.
Lionel walked through the portal. "My goodness, if it isn’t the beautiful Leila Fury," Lionel said with a polite bow and a kiss on her hand.
"Aw, he’s so kind." Leila said while blushing.
Xander closed the portal. "Dada make seal. Auntie Lele likes Wevi brother."
The room burst out in laughter.
"Are you our new party leader buddy?" Luna asked while picking up Xander. "Did you know that when we were kids, your dad and I would play together and he didn’t want to be King? Can you believe that?"
"No. Dada and Mama always Kwing and Ka-ween."
Sora thought for a minute, before formally reaching out for Lionel’s hand.
"I’d formally like to invite you to our saviors party. The conditions will play in your head." Sora said with a smile.
He made the conditions the same as Levi’s with the ability to go back to Haven whenever he pleased.
"I accept!" Lionel said enthusiastically. The yin and yang symbol illuminated everyone’s hands.
"And another one!" Bishop shouted.
"Oh, I almost forgot. Xander, could you please open a portal back to the vampire settlement?" Camilla asked in her best baby talk voice.
Xander opened a portal and Jax Blackmore walked through it.
"Sora, I know I’m only 24, but may I please join your party? Dorian said it’s the best place to be right now if I want to help with this war."
"Absolutely."

The masked god observed and shook his head.
