Chapter 171: 2.51 Xander’s in High School?!
Xander followed Julius as they took one of the cars to the school. Everyone was shocked to see one of Sora and Brie’s kids in high school, as they all knew he was only about 10 years old. He didn’t look it, and Julius was right.
"See man you’ve only been through two classes and you already have a bunch of even the upper classman checking you out." Julius laughed.
"That’s kinda gross isn’t it. I’m like 10..." Xander teased.
"Yeah but you’re more ripped than I am and just as tall as me. It’s kinda crazy. Plus those gold ass eyes. Everyone knows you’re a god."
"Who cares. School is boring. I thought it’d be cool or something."
"What did you expect after being trained by Athena? The best part about school are the girls so enjoy the attention. Just don’t tell Rissa I said that."
"Well you met her here so I’ll just tell her you said she was the best part of school."
"See, you get it," Julius said while fist bumping Xander and rushing to his next class.

Back at the mansion, everyone was impressed with Sora, Brie and Eris in the way they were fighting. Granted, they spent 8+ years training vs the 8 days everyone else was at home, but still. It was impressive nonetheless.
"I wish Xander would hurry up and get back from school, I hope he has a good first day. I’m worried, Sora!" Brie said nervously.
"He’s probably bored out of his mind..." Sora said while giving his wife a kiss.
They started preparing for Hades’ and his army and started training accordingly. They ran, lifted weights and continued sparing while Emma and Emery watched, each of them cheering for someone different. Emery always wanted one of the men to win and Emma always wanted one of the women to win. They both got what they wanted more often than not. Sora and Brie forgot how diverse their group actually was.
The person who impressed everyone the most was Mindy. For being a younger child, she could hulk out in her black werewolf form with her purple eyes. Her ability to control blood while fighting was a huge help and served her well. Her only problem was she was running into adults and wasn’t a god or goddess like Xander.
Brie waited in the garage for Julius and Xander to pull in, and Xander was really excited to see his mom. He left his backpack in the car and sprinted to give her a hug.
"I missed you Mom!" he screamed as he gave her a big hug.
"I’m sure all the girls will love that... it’s like you forgot everything I taught you!" Julius teased as Rissa walked down and gave him a kiss.
"How’d he do?" she asked.
"Really well. He mentioned it was kind of gross that a bunch of 16 and 17 year olds were hitting on him. What do you think?" he asked.
"It is kind of gross but I can’t blame them. He doesn’t look 10 at all. If anything, he looks like he’s a senior. Kid’s ripped. I guess he didn’t waste his 8 years in Paradise," she shrugged.
"12 days," she reminded him with a kiss.
He picked her up and took them to their bedroom. Just because he wasn’t 18 didn’t mean they couldn’t fool around.
Xander made a funny face and Brie asked what was wrong. He explained about all the girls and Brie laughed.
"You’re a god Xander. Like literally born a god. You Father and I became them, and we kind of fell in love right away. You’ll find someone, don’t worry," she said while giving him a hug.
"Where’s dad? I thought he’d be waiting too." Xander said with a slight frown.
"I may have made him promise me I got to see you on your first day of school," she said with a big smile.
"Aw, thanks mom. You’re the best." Xander said, giving her another hug.
Sora sat patiently in the living room while the rest of the party gave him space. They knew how important today was for him and they didn’t want to be a burden. He said it wasn’t a problem, but they left him alone anyway.
Brie and Xander walked in and he popped up quickly. "Well, how was today buddy?"
"Mom, can I talk to dad?" Xander asked with a blushed face.
"Sure sweetie. I love you," she said while pinching his cheeks and kissing his forehead.
"Love you too!" Xander said as Brie waved and shrugged at Sora when Xander turned toward him.

"What’s up buddy?" Sora asked.
"What was it like when you met mom?" Xander asked excitedly.
"Ha, funny you should ask, I was actually just thinking about that the other day. So, it was my first night here after I met Chronos. He didn’t give me a lot of instructions. Just that my new body would be ready, I needed to form a party and find someone named Brie. He also told me that I should make seals with them to protect myself, I even wore a mask." Sora laughed.
"Woah, it’s like Mom said. You really had no clue about anything here. Did you?" Xander asked, fully paying attention to his father.
"Nope. I actually felt really stupid a lot of the time. Your mom and Sasha always used to joke about how I lived under a rock. Anyway, I was in my first dungeon and I walked into a room and there she was. She looked so beautiful. I knew right away I thought that she was the one. I don’t know if it’s because of what Chronos said, or just because she was so beautiful and amazing. She literally kicked those golems ass like it was nothing," Sora said, his face lighting up with excitement, remembering and explaining the past to his oldest.
"She said she was really mad when you walked in that room," Xander teased.
"She was! Oh my gosh Xander, I thought she was going to kill me next! But after a while, especially after she could tell I could inspect better than she could and her lie didn’t work, we just kind of clicked. You have to realize, we lived together for over a year with Sasha and Levi. Jubelle came a little later, but back then, it was just me, your mom, Sasha, Levi and Jubelle. It’s easy to get close to someone when you’re with them all the time," Sora smiled.
"Haven’t you heard this before though? Did something happen at school?" Sora asked while he gave Xander a hug. Something was clearly bothering him.
"School was weird. Uncle Julius kept telling me that all the girls were checking me out but they’re so much older than me. Even the kids in my grade are 14 and I’m 10. It just feels... weird." Xander said while shaking his head.
"Like I know I’m attracted to girls and everything and there are definitely some good looking ones, but I just feel like they only look at me because I’m your kid, if that makes sense. Mom’s too, but really, they just see me in you." Xander smiled.
"Let me guess, it’s the eyes?" Sora said, laughing and covering his own.
"Yeah! For real. They see my eyes and automatically know I’m a god. Mom’s and Emma’s are super pretty but yours are super special and mine give away I’m a god. What should I do?" Xander asked, desperate for answers.
Sora thought about a minute before he spoke.
"Just be yourself. You’ll know when someone comes along that actually wants to talk to you for being you. You have to remember that Julius might be our adopted kid, but he was a prodigy too. He could do some things way beyond his years and he wasn’t a tall, muscular kid like you. Talk to him. Just ask him to stop giving you such a hard time about it. He’s only doing it because you let him. Stand up to him and tell him how you feel. He’s a great kid, ask Rissa too. She’ll be able to help." Sora said confidently.
"Alright, thanks dad. I love you, thank you." Xander said while giving him a hug and sprinting off to the dojo.
’Kid always wants to train but doesn’t want attention from girls. Sounds familiar.’ Sora laughed while shaking his head.
Brie teleported next to Sora on the couch and Sora explained everything.
"Well, I can relate to getting lost in your eyes and falling for you right away too," Brie said while giving her husband a kiss.
Sora laughed. "Yeah, I should probably talk to Julius and Rissa too."
"Please don’t. Let him figure it out on his own. He may be 10, but he’s got a bigger brain than you did when you landed on this forsaken planet," Brie burst out in laughter.
Sora chuckled. "I’m not saying you’re wrong."
