Chapter 164: 2.44 A New Prophecy (1)
"It’s so nice to be here! I haven’t been in Haven in what feels like forever, but I’m glad it’s to celebrate my engagement with Levi," Sasha said cheerfully as she ran up the steps and gave Mrs. Steele a big hug.
"That ring looks amazing on you darling. Matches those beautiful eyes of yours. Speaking of which, if one of my sons would mind giving me a grandchild like all the other members of that secret little party of yours keeps having... that would be wonderful," Mrs. Steele teased the group.
"Hey, he’s the engaged one, look at him, not me," Lionel teased.
"Bro you’re literally 100 years older than me... why you leaving mom and dad out to dry like that?" Levi touted back.
"Alright let’s not cause a scene, everybody get inside this prophecy is actually important and it’s something you probably don’t know about yet either," Mr. Steele encouraged them into the Castle.
"My husband, always so formal and boring," Mrs. Steele teased as she kissed him on the cheek.
"I’m only kidding dear, I just can’t believe you’re going to spoil all of the fun!" She continued, grabbing her husband’s arm and walking down the main hall of the Castle.
"Your castle is so informal, it’s amazing! Can we live here one day? I love the settlement, don’t get me wrong, but yikes, formal this, formal that, we got our own wing..." Sasha said while rolling her eyes.
"Yes of course you two can dear, right this way," Mrs. Steele said as they directed them into a room Sasha had never seen anything like.
’Crap supersonic hearing... How could I forget?’ Sasha smiled as she walked into the room.

The room they entered had a large magical sphere that buzzed slightly with a weird flickering illumination that consistently hummed in the silent, still air.
"Sasha, if you haven’t noticed, this room is very unique. Once we look up the doors completely, you’ll get a better feel for it," Mr. Steele said proudly as Lionel and Levi quickly got to work.
They began pulling down and setting up different types of video feeds to televisions mounted across the room, older devices that would log whatever was said and oxygen continuously pumped into the room to prevent anyone in it from passing out.
"Alright dad we’re good on my end," Levi boasted.
"Good over here too, let’s give it a pull." Lionel said.
"Sasha dear this is just a demonstration. When the sphere becomes active and I quite literally mean active, that’s when a prophecy is ready to spit itself out at us," Mrs. Steele said, signaling for Sasha to sit next to her.
10 men dressed in matching blue robes walked in and began praying while playing their hands on the orb. The orb flickered and started casting incoherent images and messages throughout the room.
"Are they praying to Chronos?" Sasha asked, shaking her head in confusion.
"Why of course they are. I know you know Levi knows how to use that sword quite well," Mrs. Steele said with a wink.
Levi said, "Dad, I think she gets it. Can we please just show her what the prophecies showed now?"
"Yes, yes. Thank you all for coming to put on a proper demonstration. Sasha, these are all members of our family. Two of my brothers, my three sisters, my Father, my Mother and their 3 brothers." Mr. Steele said proudly.
"It’s amazing what you’re able to see and do! So, anyway, here’s the actual visions of the new prophecies," Levi’s dad said with a smile.
About two minutes in, after watching Eris return to Azazel and Helen to give the titans a bit of a "morale boost," Sasha asked them to stop the video.
"What’s with those creepy ass eyes? Are they demon black with yellow pentagrams? What in the name of Athena are they doing up there?" Sasha asked nervously.
"Great catch! Yes, as you can see, Hades has been implementing a creation much like Chronos’, as you would both see almost all the time. However, please keep watching. I think you’ll particularly like this part.
The playback continued and via audio, Sasha and Levi learned the names of the new Lockheart twins.
"Emma, Emery, your divine protection on everyone, Xander is about to unleash his X factor," Sasha shouted with a smile. "Keep it up you two, you’re doing great!"
"Aw they’re so adorable. What are they like 14?" Sasha whispered to Levi.
"Hard to tell, time moves so differently up there."
Sasha bit her lip and gripped Levi’s hand as the first prophecy wrapped up with Xander assisting Sora saving the world.
The second part of the prophecy was much more difficult than she originally anticipated, not because of the result, but because of how it came to be.
Sora lost himself and destroyed all of the titans, killed Azazel and Helen, but Eris got away. As he went to chase after her, her eye magic worked on him, and Xander had to kill his father in front of his mother.
"A warning would have been nice!" Sasha yelled as she started bawling.
"Sorry, we wanted you to know what family you’re marrying Sasha. These things do change once in a while, but I’m sure Sora would much rather die at the hand of his own son than die on some rampage he goes on destroying the world," Levi said while hugging her and wiping her tears away.
"I feel like I’m wiping these away too much lately. They have two more kids!" Levi exclaimed.
"Yes they do! They’re also doing just fine in Paradise. The latest rumor is no one knows where Eris is," Mr. Steele informed the room.
"Well it has to be the Underworld or Limbo then right?" Sasha said while rolling her eyes uncontrollably.
"Sorry if that came off rude. Why is it some big mystery that the two places she could be are where you nor Athena could see?"
"No need for apologies my dear, I believe we have some praying to do, excuse us." Evelyn, Levi’s mother said as everyone aside from Levi and Sasha left the room quickly.
"Woah, they’re quick to pray aren’t they?" Sasha said with a kind smile.
"I’m really glad I’ll be joining your family. Now I see where you get your quirks from, aside from the deception thing! Everyone here is really easy to read and honest."
"So I’m dishonest and not easy to read," Levi teased.
"I’m kidding. I can’t believe they have two more children. Did you notice that their daughter does not have the goddesses’ typical golden eyes? She has the same teal ones as Brie."
"Eyes have been a strange thing ever since Sora was born. I mean, your families have always had the same colored eyes, but that’s a genetic thing. A goddess without god eyes and a goddess with demonic eyes," Levi said, trying to wrap his head around this new world.
