Chapter 124: 2.1 Life Without Lockhearts
The party gathered in the living area, discussing what to do next. Although Levi and Sasha were left in charge, things proceeded like they normally did. Many of the people already experienced two weeks without Brie and Sora during their honeymoon.
"Would anyone like to use one of the spacecrafts to visit Solstice with Leila and me? I need to see if my brother is safe and search for any clues about what the fallen are up to." Ignis asked kindly.
"Do you mind if we come? We’ve never been to another planet and it’s not like the Sun bothers either of us," Julius said while holding Rissa’s hand.
"I’d also like to come, if that’s ok. I’m interested in meeting other Mythics. I’m certain more exist and we haven’t found them yet," Bishop suggested while stroking his mane.
"Absolutely. I think that’s a good sized group. I’m glad Sora left us these armored backpacks and loaded up the spaceships with fuel. He stocked the refrigerators, freezers and left plenty of capsules, blood bags and vials of his blood." Leila said with a smile.
"I think Sera and I will take a trip to the settlement. I miss Xander’s portals. Those were nice. Granted, I can teleport us but I don’t want to travel that way with a newborn."
"Yes, that is something you should not risk." Celeste said kindly.
"This is going to be a strange few weeks. I wonder what they’re up to?" Levi asked.
"Probably helping Xander master his abilities." Ox suggested. "Or doing god and goddess things. Who knows. I think we’ll continue to train Mindy."
"Yay!" Mindy cheered.
"Levi, let’s go with the Moonveil family back to the settlement. It’d be nice for them to get to know you," Sasha said as she kissed him on the cheek.
"Sounds good. It’d be nice to show off our engagement as well." Levi said confidently.
"Count me in," Jax said. "I’m a little homesick!"
"Ok what about the rest of you?" Levi asked.
"Koda and I would like to learn more about this planet. We’ve really only been in our mansion and on a battlefield. On Eerth, we traveled a lot. Does anyone care to show us around?"
"I’d be happy to," Celeste offered.
"Great, thank you so much!" Connor said while petting Koda’s beautiful black fur.
"We will be returning to MeadowSong for a few days. We were informed my sister is having a child," Faye said proudly. "I’m going to be an Auntie!"
"Awesome!" Alright, I’ll hold down the fort," Jubelle said with a laugh. "I have no problem spending a ton of time in the library."
"Don’t forget about me! I’ll be hanging around too." Johnathan said. "I haven’t had a vacation in a long time. It’d be nice to just chill in our mini paradise."
"You’re not getting out of helping us train babe," Ox said Jubelle while smacking his butt.
Ignis let out a large laugh. "Well, I think little Mindy will be quite a unique hybrid!l

They said their goodbyes as groups set off on their own adventures.
Ignis, Leila, Julius, Rissa and Bishop took off in the "best" spacecraft Ignis "had ever seen."
"Seriously I’ve never seen anything this amazing and my ship is top of the line, straight from Nexus. This thing travels at 3000 mph, has full defense systems, weapons and cloaking capabilities. It took me about 16 hours to get here when I traveled alone. We’ll be there within a few hours." Ignis said while starting it with a huge grin.
"Sora’s garage is insane." Julius laughed.
"Don’t you mean our garage?" Rissa teased.
"I can’t believe how generous our party leader is. Those conditions he gave us were surreal. Who else gets the opportunity to join a party with the richest person on this planet, live in a mansion the size of a small city, for free and take anything they want at will?" Ignis said while shaking his head.
"I was quite surprised with how quickly they thought of a solution to save me. I thought for sure I’d die in that Monolith." Leila proclaimed. "It’ll be interesting when they get back. They were already powerful..."
"Bishop, how powerful do you think Sora, Brie and Xander are compared to the rest of the gods? What about the fallen? Sora took out and tortured an Ancient Titan General like it was nothing." Ignis asked out of curiosity.
"He wasn’t always that strong. I remember repeatedly losing to me when we met. He always learned quickly, though. Depending on how many souls Helen and Eris have absorbed, he’s probably stronger than 80% of the gods. Athena and Hades are both on their own level entirely and the children of Zeus, as well as some others are also still stronger."
"That doesn’t surprise me, but how was he able to surpass the mythic creatures so quickly? When I fought Azazel, he was easy to trick. I don’t think Sora would be easily fooled."
"He has the ability to gain power based on his party members rank and accomplishments. Azazel fed fodder to power him up." Bishop said calmly.
"I’d say Xander has the most potential because he is a true god born of god and goddess. Sora was a hybrid god who Athena blessed and Brie passed the trial of the gods. Xander has magic this world has never seen."
"I’d agree with you but Sora’s eye magic is quite surreal. We were all frozen in time effortlessly and he literally toyed with Tesarion while using both of his eye abilities."
"Yet Xander can break out of that magic. You shouldn’t sell yourself short either. I’d say everyone in this party is strong. Connor has the most room for growth, but he comes from a planet where humans don’t possess magic."
Leila, Julius and Rissa were fascinated by the conversation. Before they knew it, a giant red planet came into view.
"That is way bigger than Exteria!" Julius exclaimed.
"And way hotter. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. It shouldn’t be a problem for Leila or Bishop but if you or Rissa feel dehydrated PLEASE return to the spaceship. Go grab the elven capsules. Bring water, blood, food, flesh and cleansing ones, just in case.
Ignis turned on the ship’s cloaking mechanism and slowed down. Once he located his floating sanctuary, he carefully landed the ship.
They walked out and noticed a giant red and yellow phoenix glowing with flames nested in the large, beautiful flame.
"Hello brother! These are my friends and this is my fiancee Leila. She’s the Ancient Queen Dragoness."
The phoenix flew through Leila’s heart, causing her to feel an enormous amount of warmth and energy.
"Awww. Tell him I said hi and thank you." Leila said with a smile.
"He understands everyone just fine. If we’re lucky, he might be able to switch to human form."
"Fascinating." Bishop said with a bow. "Hello fellow mythic. I am Bishop, Ancient Chimera of the Royal Zeke family."
"His name is Indra. He says it’s nice to meet you and is wondering why the demon and succubus are so shy." Ignis laughed.
"Hey Indra! You are quite handsome. Your flames are beautiful. Are you lonely up here?" Rissa asked kindly.
Indra flew close to Rissa and bowed his head.
"He wants you to scratch his head. Go on, don’t be shy."
Rissa brushed her hand over his head several times. She smiled as he made purring noises of approval.
"Hey buddy. That’s my beautiful wife Rissa. I’m Julius. It’s nice to meet you. We’re here to help you find clues about the evil that attacked your planet!" Julius said confidently.
Indra screamed a "cawwww" and flew right through Julius. He didn’t know what to think, as he saw a flashback of the horror Azazel caused this planet.
"Thank you for showing me. That’s absolutely tragic. How can we help?" Julius asked politely.
"Let’s get inside the cavern. It’s cooler there. You’re already drenched in sweat." Ignis suggested as they walked into Indra’s cave.
"Well brother, can you change into a human or not?" Ignis asked while petting his brother’s head.
A giant blast of light filled the room, and a six foot tall humanoid stood with fire blazing around a body that just wore shorts.
"Thank you for coming to help us.".
