Chapter 118: Xander The Great (1)
Xander watched in horror as his Dada cut both of Tesaeion’s legs off and healed the two stumps to stop the bleeding.
Exteria’s surface rippled as the massive body landed and fell over backwards.
"Such a foolish god. You think you’re winning this battle yet all I see is a bunch of your party members trampled by my Army. Eris will reward me handsomely for this!" Tesarion said, still under Sora’s "Eye of Lockheart" illusion.
Sora scoffed and sliced each arm off and repeated the healing to stop the bleeding.
"Dada! Stop!" Xander yelled. He wanted to teleport to him, but he was afraid.
"Dada please stop!" Xander said telepathically. Again, he received no response.
’Nana Fena if you’re watching please forgive my dada. He’s still good in his heart. Maybe he thinks Mama died. For your honor love Xander.’ He thought in prayer.
Athena watched from Paradise and frowned. ’Poor Xander. His Father isn’t in his right mind right now.’
Sora teleported to the frozen Ancient army.
"I wonder how you will protect yourselves without your puppet master?" Sora said with a menacing laugh. "Divine Bombardment!"
These meteors traveled significantly faster than the ones he used to save the Vampire settlement. They were larger, heavier and some of them fell blazing with fire.
Sora laughed as the Ancient Titan army was crushed to pieces.
"Oh no! Everyone’s frozen under dada magic. They might get struck by a stray rock!" Xander muttered with a tear in his eye. "I hope this works!"
Xander concentrated and thought of the best combination of magic to use to save his family and friends. After about 30 seconds, he whispered, "Xander Unleashed: Portal of protection!"
A massive portal formed above the party just in time, as three meteors fell through the portal. This portal disintegrated any object that fell through it.
"I did it!" Xander cheered, only to realize he sensed only evil souls now in this space. "Oh no, dada!"
Sora laughed, looked into the sky and yelled "I hope you’re watching, Eris! This is a warning. If anything happens to Brie or Xander, or I lose someone else in my party, it’s your head next!"
******
"Has he gone mad? Hades you can get us to Exteria right?" Eris pleaded, holding back her tears and hiding her emotion.
"Nope. Athena has portals from anyone other than Xander completely blocked."
"So we’re just going to stand idly and lose 30,000 of my 60,000 Ancient titans?"
"We have no choice. I’m really sorry Eris. I know how much your original creations mean to you," Helen said as she hugged her best friend.
"Wait...is Sora absorbing Tesarion’s lifeforce?! How does he know how to do that?" Azazel screamed in horror.
"Shut the fuck up mortal," Hades said while laughing. "Sora isn’t doing it correctly. It’ll take him weeks at this rate to absorb Tesarion’s lifeforce and I’m sure he’s close to his limit with his time magic."
"How is the child able to break Sora’s time manipulation ability?" Helen asked politely.
"Do I look like Athena? I don’t know. Looks like the brat is going to try to stop his Father from absorbing Tesarion’s lifeforce," the masked god said calmly. "He’s taken more than you think, Hades."
Hades stopped laughing and his demeanor changed completely. He started speaking authoritatively.
"You panicked when a toddler opened a portal you couldn’t walk through while on your sixth assignment. Rather than thinking of any potential consequences, you decided to rush an unplanned attack."
"Hades, I’m sorry—"
He snapped his fingers, causing wires to seal Eris’s lips together.
"From now on, you follow my assignments directly or you die. That goes for you two as well," Hades said as he snapped his fingers and Eris gasped for air.
"I understand my lord. I will not fail you," Eris said confidently and bowed.
"Understood my lord," Azazel and Helen answered simultaneously.
"Hades, you need to see this," the masked god said calmly while directing his attention to Xander.
Helen, Azazel and Eris turned to see what intrigued the masked god.

Sora disabled the illusion when he finally understood how to drain Tesarion’s lifeforce. Despite the cries and screams, Sora smiled from the warm, soothing sensation coursing through his body.
"Just kill me! You can take someone’s power when they’re dead." Tesarion cried. He hated failing and knew he was going to die. "I’m sorry Eris! I love you!"
Suddenly, Sora felt a sudden surge in power and he watched Tesarion quickly fade into nothingness. His eyes darted to the sky, where the sky continuously flickered between day and night. The sun and moon rose and set so quickly he couldn’t track them properly.
’What is going on? Everyone should be frozen in time. I’ve never had better control of my eyes.’
His head was racing as he teleported to his party, who still stood frozen in time.
"Xander! I’m so sorry, where are you?!" Sora cried out. There was no answer.
He located Xander via his party seal and teleported to him quickly.
Xander was crying hysterically while moving his hands and shouting.
"Stop! Slow down! Xander unleashed: eye of Chronos! Something! Anything!"
"Xander, it’s your dada. I’m so sorry I love you!"
Xander looked his dad in the eyes with fear and horror.
"Dada stealing life and power like bad goddesses do. I want Mama."
"Xander, I’m so sorry. What I did was wrong. You’ve lost control of your spell and time is moving at an unsafe pace. Think of all the people in Exteria who aren’t frozen in time right now."
"But dada use his eye magic. He picks who he wants to not freeze and everyone else freezes."
"You’re right buddy, but if you don’t calm down, you’re going to miss your birthday and people will think it’s strange it’s summer when it’s winter."
"I can’t stop it! I tried to help you take bad guy power faster so you would stop but now I can’t stop it!"
"Your dada was the bad guy today buddy. I’m sorry. Look at me please, I think I can help you."
"But how I know you still dada and not bad guy you have with you now?"
"Because I love you and your mother more than anything in this universe. Just look at me, take a deep breath and say ’release."
Sora quickly adjusted his spell, allowing Brie to move freely in this time space.
Without hesitation, she teleported to Xander, picked him up while hugging and kissing him. "I love you, what’s wrong my sweetiepie?"
’Eye of Chronos: everyone but me.’ Sora thought and time finally stopped moving.
He looked at the joy in Brie’s eyes while she hugged and kissed Xander. He saw the relief in Xander’s face when he saw his mama.
’I am such a shitty person. When I saw Luna on that sword, my mind immediately imagined Brie’s body in her place. If Xander hadn’t broken my spell to try to stop and save me, how far would I have gone?’
He used his dimensional void to change out of his armor and put on a white shirt and black shorts with regular shoes.
"What have I done?" He cried out to the skies.
*****
Hades and the masked god laughed.
"We were close. He almost snapped." The masked god said with a smile.
"Yes. He’s gained an insane amount of power from Tesarion. I will agree with the three dumbasses, free power is the best power." Hades grinned. "What happens now? As you can see, only Exterian time froze."
"I think we can add another planet or two to the list. No use rushing into a battle with Exteria with this unexpected twist!"
"Oooooh! I like it? Which ones?" Hades asked with a cackled laugh. "I like the way you think."
"Let’s get Lox here. He’ll know. I already have one in mind but want to hear him out." The masked god said as he snapped his fingers."
"Yes my lord?" Lox noticed Hades and politely bowed.
"Exteria experienced a large shift in time. The other planets have not. Where else should Azazel and the titans absorb power from?"
Lox didn’t hesitate with his answer.
