Chapter 410: Chapter 255: Cultivation World 45_3

"The Wind Spirit Mountain Range is so vast, how do we find someone? Moreover, the other party must have used the Spirit Erasing Technique to erase their spiritual power traces. How can we find them again?" Zhong Neng said.

The female cultivator spoke, "Senior Brother, I have a special magic treasure. Even if the other party used the Spirit Erasing Technique, I can see who took the treasure."

"Oh, then I’ll trouble you, Junior Sister Kang."

Kang Hong nodded and took out the magic treasure, activating it.

As the magic treasure was activated, a handsome face appeared on it.

After memorizing the face, the three started searching, but they couldn’t find such a cultivator in the Wind Spirit Mountain Range.

They didn’t know that Si Lingle was out training and had disguised herself.

Moreover, she changed her disguise every month, so they couldn’t find the person who took the treasures from the cave.

However, fate still led them to encounter Si Lingle.

Just as Si Lingle finished dealing with a Fifth Rank Green-scaled Two-headed Snake, these three appeared, intending to snatch the Purple Qilin Grass that the snake was guarding.

This Purple Qilin Grass is a Sixth Rank spirit grass! It’s one of the spirit plants used to refine a Soul Emergence Pill.

The three gazed greedily, communicated via sound transmission, and then brandished their weapons to attack Si Lingle.

Si Lingle had hidden her cultivation, showing merely Early-stage Nascent Soul.

As for these three, Zhong Neng had reached Nascent Soul Great Perfection, while the younger two were at Mid-stage Nascent Soul. Certain that they could ambush and kill, they believed they could still take down Si Lingle, making the Purple Qilin Grass theirs.

But they didn’t expect Si Lingle had hidden her cultivation, being in the Divinity Transformation Stage, two tiers above them.

With a single Thunder Sword Intent from Si Lingle, the three were blown away.

The storage bags on the three were collected by Si Lingle into her nanomaterials, and she then harvested the Purple Qilin Grass.

After collecting it, Si Lingle continued to search for good things.

More than half a year later, Si Lingle arrived on the western side of the Wind Spirit Mountain Range, casting her eyes upon a vast, boundless swamp.

This swamp was shrouded in a layer of mist, thin and like gauze, reflecting an ethereal and peculiar color under the setting sun. From the mist, occasional cries of unknown waterfowl echoed, the sound reverberating over the silent swamp, adding a mysterious atmosphere.

Si Lingle carefully took a step forward, the ground beneath her feet emitting a soft "squelch," as if reminding her of the danger here. The surrounding water plants swayed gently in the breeze, showcasing the unique vitality of the swamp.

Some of the water plants grew very tall, almost reaching her knees, with leaves adorned with glittering water droplets that sparkled in the sunlight’s refraction.

Inside the swamp, variously-sized ponds dotted the landscape. The water in the ponds appeared a deep green, murky enough to likely hide countless unknown secrets. Occasionally, ripples would spread across the water surface from mysterious creatures moving beneath.

Looking further beyond, where the swamp met the horizon, a few low hills could be seen. Sparse trees grew on these hills, their branches twisted and stout, seemingly resisting the harsh environment fiercely.

Si Lingle took a deep breath, detecting a faint stench of rot in the air from decaying water plants and soil.

As she stepped onto the muddy humus into the depths of the swamp, the pervasive violet miasma suddenly solidified into tangible webs.

She immediately deployed a Spiritual Energy Shield, only to find her spiritual power being consumed by some strange force. From a distance came the unsettling sound of bone grinding, and three Out-of-Body Stage Swamp Scale Crocodiles emerged from the water, their blood-red vertical pupils reflecting distorted spatial ripples.

They bared their fangs as they advanced towards Si Lingle. Their eyes flickered with ferocity, sturdy limbs stir up splashes of muddy water, sharp teeth still stained with prey’s blood, echoing low growls as if declaring the bloodshed and brutality of the impending battle.

Si Lingle held the Qiankun Umbrella with a calm expression, her gaze locked firmly on the three evil beasts before her, with her hair gently flowing in the breeze.

The three Swamp Scale Crocodiles positioned themselves in a triangle, encircling Si Lingle, with one launching the first attack, darting towards her like an arrow, its hefty tail sweeping fiercely towards her legs.

The other two weren’t far behind, approaching swiftly from the sides, opening their blood-red mouths to reveal pointed teeth, attempting to devour Si Lingle in one gulp. In an instant, Si Lingle found herself besieged on three sides, the surrounding air seeming to crystallize with the tense atmosphere.

Si Lingle quickly reacted, opening the Qiankun Umbrella, the umbrella surface instantly radiating a soft glow, like a shield deflecting the tail strike from the Swamp Scale Crocodile.

The tail hit heavily against the umbrella, emitting only a dull thud without causing Si Lingle any harm.

Following that, Si Lingle twirled the Qiankun Umbrella, its tip pointing at the Swamp Scale Crocodile charging from the sides. A ray of light shot from the umbrella’s tip, piercing towards the crocodile like an arrow.

One of the Swamp Scale Crocodiles was struck by the light, its body trembling slightly, slow in responding.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Si Lingle leapt forward, landing on the back of one of the Swamp Scale Crocodiles, pressing the Qiankun Umbrella firmly against its back, immobilizing it.

However, the other two Crocodiles did not retreat, launching a fiercer attack.

One lashed out with its forepaw at Si Lingle, who agilely sidestepped, simultaneously swinging the Qiankun Umbrella, its surface like a blade slicing across the Crocodile’s paw, leaving a blood trail.

The other launched a sneak attack from behind; Si Lingle felt the movement, promptly turned around, and fired a Spiritual Energy Bullet.
