Chapter 325: Chapter 227: Cultivation World 17_2

The Divine Sense couldn’t detect the situation beneath the cliff.

Si Lingle released the Heavenly Eye to explore. Through the Heavenly Eye, Si Lingle found the peculiar stone marking the treasure’s location.

Once confirmed, the three of them flew down the cliff.

At the site of the peculiar stone, Si Lingle explored with Divine Sense and found a Restriction Array on the cliff wall.

"There’s a Restriction Array here." The Heavenly Eye could penetrate the Restriction Array, but not solid objects. Behind this array lies a Stone Gate.

The simulacrum could pass directly through the restriction and use an Energy Gun to break the stone wall and enter this treasury.

However, having come this far, it’s certainly more rewarding to break the restriction ourselves.

Although Yu Xi and Yin Shi haven’t specialized in Arrays, they understood them somewhat, and together they worked to deduce the restriction.

After spending a day, they calculated it.

Si Lingle performed Swordsmanship and broke the restriction.

After breaking the restriction, they saw the Stone Gate.

The Stone Gate was smashed open by a punch from Yin Shi, and afterward, a passageway appeared.

Upon entering the passageway, they discovered the Divine Sense couldn’t be used, as this space had a Forbidden Divine Sense restriction.

Fortunately, their cultivation remained intact.

Without Divine Sense, they could only use their eyes to check for traps within the passage, making their advancement very slow.

Fortunately, the passage’s traps were trivial, and within half an hour, they entered a massive cave.

Inside the cave was a demon’s skeleton.

The skeleton was crouched, with a frame over three zhang high and vertebrae that undulate like mountain ridges, with burned black marks at the broken ribs indicating a fierce battle before death.

The skull bore six spiral horns, with dark golden tips that appeared sharp despite erosion from the ages, faintly exuding the pressure of a high-level demon. The cracked mandible had dry purple Blood Crystals at the root of its fangs, emitting a sweet yet decayed scent.

Dozens of scattered feathers lay on the back, sharp as blades with the Earth attribute runes flowing faintly, seemingly matching ancient records of the Purple Cloud Eagle Steel Feather.

Its forelimbs were embedded into the ground with claws tipped in a jade-like horn layer.

In the center of its chest cavity was a sunken area where a gray-white orb was embedded, covered in web-like cracks, but a faint red light shone from within.

Dark red crystals congealed in the ground’s rifts, merging the demon’s essence with the earth’s Spiritual Energy to form Blood Marrow Jade.

The surrounding rock walls bore radiating cracks, the stalactite tops sheared, seeming to have been sliced by claws.

The scorched ground spread in rings, the central area growing fluorescent blue Devouring Spirit Moss, slowly consuming the demon energy lingering from the skeletal remains.

Yin Shi: "In life, this Great Demon must have reached the Body Integration Realm."

Si Lingle and Yu Xi nodded.

No one knows how long the Great Demon has been dead, yet such pressure still lingered, indicative of its former strength.

The three activated the Mysterious Martial Technique, approached the Great Demon’s skeleton, and collected the Blood Marrow Jade and ten scattered feathers.

They divided these items evenly, then Si Lingle and the others separated to search the cave.

The three had discussed before their adventure that any discovery made together would be evenly divided.

If found individually, it would belong to the discoverer alone.

Certainly, if an individual discovery required assistance from the others, the items found would be divided among those assisting.

If items like Spiritual or Mystic Treasures, which couldn’t be divided, were found, those helping could be compensated with items of equivalent value.

Yin Shi and Yu Xi went in different directions.

Si Lingle continued examining the Great Demon’s skeleton, and after observing all the visible bones on the ground, Si Lingle flew up to inspect the back’s bones.

"Eh!" Si Lingle discovered two bones that were markedly different.

These two bones had faint silver floral patterns, though very subtle.

Si Lingle took these two bones down and stored them away.

Yin Shi also found something; he discovered a Storage Ring. With no Divine Sense, he couldn’t determine the contents within the Storage Ring.

Yu Xi found a Seventh Rank Demon Plant and collected it.

After thoroughly searching the giant cave, two more hours passed, and each of the three made their own discoveries.

As for the Great Demon’s skeleton, without Divine Sense, collecting these demon bones was challenging. They were unlike the small items like Blood Marrow Jade that could be stored in a Storage Bag without Divine Sense.

Si Lingle’s Nanomaterials could collect them but she hesitated to do so under Yu Xi and Yin Shi’s scrutiny.
