Chapter 32: Chapter 32: What Right Does She Have?
The next day, Shen Nian still woke up very early. She had gone straight to her room yesterday, wanting to give the three members of the Lu family time to think, but she hadn’t intended to give them the cold shoulder.
However, Shen Nian never expected that Father Lu and Mrs. Lu would actually be up even earlier than her!
"Mom, Dad, why are you up so early?"
Shen Nian had just stepped out of her room when she saw Father Lu and Mrs. Lu. It would be a lie to say she wasn’t surprised.
"We went to bed early last night, so we woke up early. Xiao Nian, why don’t you sleep in a little longer?"
Of course, Sun Yufeng wouldn’t admit that they had barely slept all night because of what happened yesterday. They had been worried about Shen Nian and Lu Cheng. Since they couldn’t sleep anyway, they figured they might as well get up early.

Seeing her daughter-in-law be so considerate filled Sun Yufeng’s heart with relief and gratitude. Plus, she remembered that Shen Nian’s cooking was indeed better than hers. Even now, she was still thinking about the breakfast Shen Nian had made yesterday!
"Oh right, Xiao Nian, about those things you bought yesterday..."
Shen Nian had come back with quite a few things yesterday, but after the scene Qin Xueling caused, she had gone straight to her room without even putting them away. Sun Yufeng had seen them and put them away before going to bed.
"Ah, I almost forgot. Mom, let’s keep some of those groceries for ourselves. As for the rest, I was thinking of making some things that will keep well and sending them to Lu Cheng."
"Ah! Good, good, good!"
Sun Yufeng had been wondering why Shen Nian would buy so much meat and so many vegetables at once. ’How can we afford to spend money like that!’ she had thought. But she never expected this was Shen Nian’s plan. Sun Yufeng’s heart instantly filled with joy.
