Han Ziyan sucked in a breath and jumped back when she saw Yang Jianming standing in front of her. "B...Brother Yang?" She was so shocked when she saw Yang Jianming that she didn’t know what to do. Her face turned pale, and she looked around the warehouse. Han Ziyan was worried that someone would see her with Yang Jianming. "What are you afraid that someone will see us together?" Yang Jianming asked darkly when he saw that the woman was looking around. He was a smart man and knew what was going on at a glance, seeing how Han Ziyan was actually combing the surroundings as if she were worried that the two of them would be seen together.
"No...no," Han Ziyan shook her head. She was not stupid. What if this man suddenly turned desperate and did something to harm her? She was not a fool. The two of them were alone, and if Yang Jianming wanted to harm her, then he could do it with ease.
Seeing her pale face, Yang Jianming sneered. Even though he knew that Han Ziyan was lying to him, he did not lose his temper. For some unknown reason, he truly liked seeing her like this. The terror on her face gave him a grim satisfaction. This woman was the reason why he suddenly lost everything. If not for her shameless antics where she deliberately tried to seduce him with every skill that she knew, Yang Jianming was certain that he would have never let Han Ruochen down.
Without Han Ziyan’s little schemes, he could have married Han Ruochen with ease and wouldn’t have had to listen to the cries and scoldings of his mother every day.
"Han Ziyan, do you even realise what kind of suffering you have made me suffer?" Yang Jianming naturally would not let this woman off so easily. She was the cause of his sufferings; since that was the case, Han Ziyan naturally had to pay for it!
"B... Brother Yang, don’t be like this. I know that you are upset, but what can I do? My father is really angry and even barred me from meeting you. He has told me strictly that I can no longer have any contact with you...so what can I, a weak woman, even do?" Han Ziyan was smart enough to sense the changes in Yang Jianming’s mood. She knew that the man was furious with her. But she was not going to admit that she was the one who wanted to break their relationship. Han Ziyan did notice that there was something wrong with him at that moment, but she still nodded. At that very moment, she only wanted him to let go of her and leave. If he stayed any longer, she was worried that they would be seen by someone!
"Then make sure to come to our usual place. If I don’t see you there at three p.m., then you can forget about living peacefully. Han Ziyan, it’s because of you that I am living like a street rat; who gave you the right to live with no worries?" Yang Jianming threw out these words and turned on his feet before leaving. He didn’t care about Han Ziyan’s pallid complexion. In the past, as much as he loved this woman, he hated her just as much now. She was the cause of his sufferings after all!
