Lin Wan felt that Yangyang couldn’t go on like this. If he plays around for half a month over there and comes back addicted to games, neglecting his studies, that would be a problem, and it would be hard to explain to her cousin and brother-in-law.

They were assembling a batch of computers for a factory. Just happened to be short-handed, so he brought the three kids to the company to help out. They weren’t working for free; they earned ten bucks a day.
Little Star and Hanhan were thrilled, never expecting to earn pocket money on this trip. Yangyang was a bit lazy at first, but after two days of work, he learned how to assemble computers and got more skilled, quicker than the two girls. Later, he became more keen to go to the company every day than the girls.
Originally, they planned to play for half a month, but the kids turned out to be little money-grubbers, insisting on working there until school started.
Hu Dong agreed, too. Actually, the company wasn’t busy every day, just a few days like that. On days they had no work, Hu Dong instructed them to study at the company. When there was work, they’d work. For this, Hu Dong even bought them plenty of study materials. They could only play at night, be it watching movies or playing games, but had to sleep by ten o’clock every night.

Taking care of the kids for two months was fine, but now they were giving money and buying things. They insisted on handing the money over to Lin Wan. How could Lin Wan accept it? After all, it was the kids’ hard-earned money.
Lin Wan gave the money to Hanhan instead, telling her to save it to buy study supplies, and not to waste it frivolously.
Hanhan was overjoyed, hopping around and saying she wanted to go again next year. Gu Lin gave her a reproachful look instead; after the summer vacation next year, Hanhan will be entering her third year of high school, which is more crucial. She might not be able to go.
But this time with Hu Dong was quite fruitful. Just look at Yangyang; he learned so much, and when he returned to school, he worked harder, especially with computers. For this, Gu Lin and her cousin felt very grateful, and Lin Wan also thought it worked well. Their relatives and friends here all have factories.
Little Star was shouting about going to work at her third grandpa’s place during the winter vacation to earn money. She even called up Chen Haichang, but Little Star said his assistant answered and said their boss was out chasing his wife.
