The other road leads to the coast in the suburbs of Aethelgard.
Aethelgard is partly by the sea.
Though the coastline by the sea in Aethelgard isn’t long, it is winding and scenic.

Selena Kensington looked up at Sterling Norwood beside her and asked, "Where are we going?"

Upon reaching their room at the resort, Selena looked at everything and narrowed her eyes slightly.
She looked at Sterling beside her, "Did you plan this all along?"

Selena had felt a bit sleepy during the drive, but watching the lively scene outside stirred her excitement enough to chase away the drowsiness.
She didn’t mind Sterling’s affectionate gestures, "Not tired, let’s go."
She tugged at Sterling’s sleeve, ready to head out.
Sterling noticed her bright eyes, clearly excited about going out, and decided to go along with her wishes, stepping out of the room with her.

Selena and Sterling walked a short distance to get there.

But this was just right for Selena and Sterling.

Thus, hand in hand, Selena walked Sterling away from the bustling crowd, strolling by the sea.
The night by the sea was a bit cold, especially now in winter, the chilly breeze making Selena shiver slightly.
Luckily, she had dressed warmly, and Sterling had given her a hat before leaving, offering some protection from the wind, so she didn’t feel too cold.
Nevertheless, she tucked her hand holding Sterling’s arm into his coat pocket.
Sterling glanced down at her small action but said nothing.
He also slid his hand into his coat pocket.
As Sterling’s hand came in, it brought a bit of chill, causing Selena to flinch slightly.
Once he held her hand, warmth quickly spread in Selena’s hand.
The two walked silently along the sea.
It was already night, and the tide had long receded, but being close to the coastline, some seawater still washed ashore.
Seeing the water creeping in, Selena stopped moving.
Watching her gaze fixed on the water, Sterling also halted his steps.
Due to her pregnancy, bending down was challenging for Selena, and her outfit today didn’t allow her to squat easily.
Yet she wanted to touch the chilly water, so she hooked Sterling’s hand in his coat pocket.
