"No way!" Sterling Norwood suddenly spoke up.

Selena Kensington had just managed to placate him, so she wasn’t afraid of him anymore. "Then you go first, what did you do to Finn Norwood?"

After her shower, Selena saw the man open her bedroom door, holding a set of brand new clothes and pajamas.

Selena asked, "You’re not going back?"

Sterling remained silent; if his wife wasn’t going back, why should he?

That cold, lonely bed couldn’t compare to the soft warmth in his arms.

Selena had no objections; luckily, she had bought a large bed to sleep more comfortably.

Otherwise, she couldn’t imagine how Sterling would fit.

Thinking of how his tall frame would have to curl up on a small bed, Selena couldn’t help but laugh.

When Sterling came out from his shower, Selena had already dried her hair and was lying on the bed scrolling through her phone.

Seeing Sterling come out, Selena slightly raised an eyebrow.

Watching him sit at the edge of her bed with his back turned, Selena climbed over.

She wrapped her arms around his neck from behind.

"Quick, confess! What did you do to Finn Norwood?"

Selena said, feigning a ’fierce’ demeanor.

After all, Finn was involved because of her, Selena felt she should care a bit.

Sterling paused, his tone enigmatic, "You really care about him?"

Seems like his actions today were too light.

He should’ve gone for his face. Let’s see if he’d still dare flaunt around his wife.

Selena squeezed him, pretending to be angry, "He’s your cousin! How could you, a grown man, be at odds with a kid..."

But Sterling completely missed her point, a hint of danger flashed in his eyes.

"So, you still think I’m old."

"..." Selena was speechless.

Selena thought, even if she actually didn’t mind his age.

"Fine, don’t say anything!" Selena angrily shoved him a bit, turned around, and snuggled back into the bed.

Leaving only her back facing Sterling.

Sterling lifted the blanket and lay down.

From behind, he embraced Selena into his arms.

Selena hummed lightly a few times, but still allowed Sterling to hold her.

The two didn’t speak any further.

Just as Selena was about to drift off to sleep, Sterling’s deep voice sounded from behind.
