When he had first come to interview, Zhou Shen hadn’t discussed e-commerce in detail with Wu Yun. Because of that, he had always assumed Wu Yun was just some rich kid, a young master using his family’s money to start a business.
What truly shocked Zhou Shen was that after returning home on the day of the interview, he had gotten into a work mindset early. He wanted to understand the company leadership’s core philosophy so that if there were any issues, he could prepare a report in advance to try and persuade Wu Yun.
What Zhou Shen hadn’t expected was that the plan perfectly embodied the great man’s development strategy of "surrounding the cities from the countryside." It had similarities to his own previous thoughts, but this plan was far more complete, even addressing many details and potential problems he hadn’t considered.
At the time, he was impressed but also puzzled. Wu Yun didn’t seem like someone with the unique vision and professional expertise to create such a plan. It would be understandable if there was a professional team behind him, but if that were the case, there wouldn’t have been much need to hire him.
Later, while reviewing the plan, Zhou Shen noted down some questions and discussed them with Wu Yun. This finally convinced him that Wu Yun had created the plan all by himself, which in turn strengthened his sense of belonging to both Wu Yun and the new company.
At that time, Wu Yun had been wondering why Zhou Shen’s loyalty had inexplicably risen to 90. It was a puzzle he couldn’t solve.
