Chapter 1143: Chapter 1143: Reporting
"What are you all staring at me for? Go do your jobs!" Benjamin Walton yelled furiously at the few people standing in his office after hanging up the phone.
"President Walton, about that business..."
"Forget it!" Benjamin said irritably. The samples sent were all unqualified; what’s the point of continuing?
Do we really need to proceed just to lose money?
"If they’re out of the picture, there are still other clients, right? Is Wilson Corporation relying solely on that one deal?" Benjamin frowned, dissatisfied, glaring at the few responsible persons. "How do you guys usually work? Must you hang yourselves on one single branch?"
The few responsible persons retreated dejectedly after being berated by Benjamin. Whom exactly had they provoked?
"Sophie Wilson, I just don’t believe you can throw money around and get anything done!" Benjamin thought for a moment, then began writing a letter.
He wanted to report Sophie Wilson, accusing her of bribing certain individuals!
Why was it so easy to pass quality control before, but now the standards are so harsh?
That’s right, it’s not strict anymore; it’s completely harsh!
If nobody was bribed, he’d never believe it, even if he were beaten to death.
Benjamin made the report with his real name, and the relevant departments took it seriously, immediately launching an investigation based on his report.
In the end, the investigation concluded with... a false report!
And then, Benjamin was summoned.
"A false report? How is that possible?" Benjamin exclaimed in disbelief. "Did you really investigate properly? Are you sure it’s all clear?"
The moment Benjamin was just taken away, the news was already online.
When Benjamin emerged, he was met by a flood of reporters.
The flashes almost blinded Benjamin’s eyes.
"President Walton, you reported the national quality inspection department because your company’s products were unqualified. What makes you believe there was bribery involved? Isn’t strictness necessary? Or do you think unqualified products should enter the market?"
"Is this the spirit of Wilson Corporation?"
"President Walton, things like this never happened at Wilson Corporation before. Since you took over, is this how you operate? Is this your style?"
"No comment!" Benjamin thought if he still couldn’t see someone set him up, then he really was a fool.
He vigorously pushed away the people blocking his view and squeezed his way out.
"President Walton, please talk to us!"
How could the reporters let Benjamin go easily?
Such big news, it was the first time they had seen someone accuse the relevant departments of bribery because their own product was unqualified.
What kind of complex thought process is this?
Fortunately, other directors from Wilson Corporation had already seen the news online and sent bodyguards to pick up Benjamin.
If not for these bodyguards, Benjamin really wouldn’t have been able to leave.
Once Benjamin was in the car, his hair was disheveled, clothes were wrinkled, and he looked completely wretched.
On the way back, Benjamin was sullen the entire time; he was in a very bad mood.
"Drive home!" Benjamin instructed.
The manager from the company said, "President Walton, the directors are waiting for you at the company."
"I said go home!" What would he do at the company at this time?
Be lectured by those annoying folks?
He was already fed up.
"President Walton, my task is to take you to the company," the manager said quite firmly.
"You don’t even listen to me?" Benjamin asked angrily.
