Chapter 1126: Chapter 1126: Mistaken
"So when do you plan to deal with him?" Emerie pressed.
Sophie Wilson chuckled at her, "What? Did you get the short end of the stick in the divorce?"
Sophie’s words successfully made Emerie’s face turn dark. "How did you know?"
"It’s quite obvious." Sophie shrugged casually, "Benjamin Walton has been plotting for a long time, naturally he was well prepared. If you divorced him, you wouldn’t get a penny, right."
Sophie’s words were not a question but a hundred percent certainty.
"Sophie Wilson, are you going to deal with Benjamin Walton or not?" Emerie demanded.
"That’s a grudge between Benjamin and me, it has nothing to do with you, and you can’t order me around." Sophie glanced at Emerie sideways, "Did you come here just to say this?"
Emerie gritted her teeth and finally steeled her heart, "Sophie Wilson, didn’t you say before that I would be begging you to return to the Wilson Clan? Fine, I’m begging you now, begging you to return to the Wilson Clan! Is this enough for you?"
Old Mrs. Wilson felt heartbroken hearing her daughter beg so pathetically, and spoke up, "Sophie Wilson, did you really say such a thing to Emerie?"
"Alright, now that Emerie is begging you, shouldn’t your anger be appeased?" Old Mrs. Wilson asked, looking at Emerie with heartache.
If it weren’t for Benjamin Walton’s outrageous bullying, Emerie wouldn’t have swallowed her pride to come plead with Sophie.
Sophie suddenly laughed and said to Old Mrs. Wilson, "I think you all misunderstand something."
Old Mrs. Wilson’s eyes narrowed, he had a vague idea of what Sophie was about to say next.
"I did say Emerie would come beg me, but I never said I would agree to return to the Wilson Clan." Sophie’s words were so unexpected that even Old Mrs. Wilson couldn’t take it.
"Sophie Wilson, you’re going too far!" Old Mrs. Wilson scolded angrily.
"Old Mrs., you’ve misunderstood." Sophie said with a smile, "I’ve always been this excessive."
This shameless attitude made Emerie’s chest hurt with anger, "Sophie Wilson, don’t you want to return to the Wilson Clan at all?"
"I really don’t, I truly don’t." Sophie emphasized twice, "Especially with someone as stupid as you there, I really don’t want to go back, afraid I’ll catch it."
"You..." Emerie pointed at Sophie in anger, about to burst into cursing.
"Emerie, everything you’re suffering today is your own doing. As for Wilson Corporation..." Sophie smiled and said, "I will take it back and give it to my father. My father has worked hard for the company for decades, I have no reason to let his efforts go to waste."
"So when do you plan to deal with Benjamin Walton?" Emerie questioned, "I want to see him utterly ruined."
"That request, you can have your parents fulfill it for you, sorry, I neither have the obligation nor the interest." Sophie’s words made Emerie so angry she was hopping mad.
As for what Emerie wanted to say next, Sophie no longer wanted to hear it, and directly had someone see them out.
Meanwhile, at the Peace Group, in Charles Seymour’s office, he spoke into the microphone, "Don’t be angry with them."
"Got it." Sophie blew a kiss to the camera hidden in the dark, smiling, "Don’t worry, I won’t let them bully me."
"Hurry up and go eat, mwah."
Feeling quite joyful after receiving a kiss from his own wife, Charles got up and went out for lunch.
He even kindly gave the daydreaming Jim Perry a tug, "Let’s go."
