Chapter 1124: Chapter 1124: Are You Dreaming?
Sophie Wilson was waiting downstairs for Benjamin Walton’s repentance, and as soon as she walked into the dining room, she was stunned.
"Benjamin Walton, what’s going on?" Emerie angrily pointed at the man sitting at the dining table, chatting happily with Old Mr. Walton and Benjamin Walton.
Her memory was still sharp; she had seen this man before.
Outside Benjamin’s company and in the photos Sophie Wilson had thrown out this morning.
This was clearly Benjamin Walton’s illegitimate son!
"Of course, I have to bring my son home," Benjamin Walton glanced at Emerie with dissatisfaction and asked, "Emerie, you always think of tearing us father and son apart, you’re truly vicious."
"Vicious?" Emerie was nearly infuriated to death by Benjamin Walton, "You cheat on me, have children, are you even human?"
Benjamin Walton sneered and said, "If you’re unhappy, you can always get a divorce."
"Fine, divorce it is!" Emerie was not one to take things lying down, and she said angrily, "Return my shares to me, not a single thing that’s mine should be missing."
"Give you the shares?" Benjamin Walton looked amusingly at the naive Emerie, "Are you dreaming?"
"Benjamin Walton, it’s you who’s dreaming. Even if we divorce, I’ll make sure you suffer a major loss!" After hastily throwing out this sentence, Emerie turned and rushed out of the villa.
She no longer wanted to see Benjamin Walton’s ugly face.
Emerie quickly took a taxi back to the Wilson Clan and poured out her grievances to Old Mrs. Wilson, "I don’t care, I just want a divorce. I want to ruin Benjamin Walton’s reputation!"
"Alright, alright, we’ll get a divorce, a divorce," Old Mrs. Wilson coaxed her daughter lovingly, "For the divorce, we should find a lawyer."
"Yes, get all his assets over here, let him have illegitimate children! Let him have the money to give birth but no money to raise them!" Emerie said through gritted teeth, full of hatred.
"Alright, alright, we’ll do just that," Old Mrs. Wilson finally managed to calm Emerie down and then returned to her room to discuss the matter with Old Mr. Wilson.
After hearing Old Mrs. Wilson’s words, Old Mr. Wilson sneered, "Emerie’s dreaming."
"What are you saying?" Old Mrs. Wilson didn’t like hearing this, "No matter what, Emerie is our child. Are you just going to let her continue living with a scoundrel like Benjamin Walton?"
"The divorce can definitely happen, but Emerie won’t get a penny. It’ll be fortunate enough not to owe any debt." Old Mr. Wilson’s words left Old Mrs. Wilson livid, "What do you mean by this? Does Benjamin Walton dare to deceive us?"
"He already has," Old Mr. Walton was well aware of a businessman’s tactics and had already anticipated the end result.
Old Mrs. Wilson, upon hearing this, asked worriedly, "What should we do? We can’t let Emerie suffer." After pausing, she thought of a plan, "How about we ask Sophie Wilson if she has any ideas."
Old Mr. Wilson listened, his eyes full of shock, completely unaware of what she was thinking.
"You think it’s not feasible?" Old Mrs. Wilson saw Old Mr. Wilson’s expression and began to lose confidence.
"Do you think it’s feasible?" Old Mr. Wilson wondered how he had never realized his wife was so naive.
"Doesn’t Sophie Wilson want to return to the Wilson Clan? All her scheming is just to see Emerie in trouble. Now that Emerie is about to divorce as she wished, doesn’t Sophie Wilson want to deal with Benjamin Walton too? After all, Benjamin Walton collaborated with James Reed back then, Sophie Wilson won’t let him go easily either," Old Mrs. Wilson felt justified in her reasoning.
Sophie Wilson doesn’t like our family; she surely dislikes Benjamin Walton as well.
