With Bai Xiqin and her brother in tow, Zhang Chen was always worried.
She feared they would die inexplicably like her relatives did when she was young.

She saw a zombie head grotesquely explode before her eyes, black blood and white brain matter splattered instantly on the ground.
The strong smell of decay directly drilled into her nostrils, straight to her head!
Bai Xiqin felt nauseous, stomach churning, yet she stifled the discomfort, cautiously watching the surroundings, fearing a zombie would suddenly appear unnoticed.
"Sis, close your eyes!"
Bai Yifan also saw the patchy black blood on the ground, his expression somewhat grim, thinking his sister wasn’t as tough as before, he told Bai Xiqin to close her eyes.
Before when they were together and frightened, closing eyes lessened the fear.

Bai Yifan’s mouth twitched, "This place’s way scarier than grandma’s back then, besides grandma was dissecting someone from her village who we knew, that’s pretty freaky!"

Captain Zhu watched the fleeing trio expressionlessly, his eyes lingered on Bai Yifan and Bai Xiqin with a hint of murderous intent.
