Chapter 781: Chapter 761: Blood Type?

Luo Qianqian almost cried when she heard those words. She held back the tears and pouted without saying a word.

Luo Xinyue looked at Luo Qianqian’s expression and smiled, "Actually, what the old man arranged might not be the best. As a father, I hope more than anything that you’re truly happy."

Luo Xinyue suddenly made such a vague statement, and Luo Qianqian looked at him with a puzzled face; he waved his hand.

"Pretend I’m drunk."

Luo Qianqian looked at the empty table with confusion, so where was there anything to drink?

"Speaking of which, what about the food?" Luo Qianqian raised an eyebrow.

"Would you like to taste my cooking?" Luo Xinyue suddenly suggested.

Luo Qianqian paused, then nodded, "Sure."

She then watched as Luo Xinyue stood up and smiled at her, "Come and give me a hand?"

Luo Qianqian paused for a moment then stood up, nodding, "Okay."

To Luo Qianqian, Luo Xinyue still felt like a stranger. From the discovery of Yue Xiluo’s issues to now, the two hadn’t spent more than five hours together, and she still found it somewhat unbelievable, as if she were still in a dream.

Luo Xinyue took Luo Qianqian out of the private room and confidently headed towards the kitchen. Luo Qianqian suddenly realized, "The ’S’ in ’Shangqi Club’ stands for Shufan, Luo Shufan, and the ’Q’ stands for Qianqian, Luo Qianqian, so this membership card wasn’t given to me by my brother..."

Luo Xinyue turned around and gazed deeply at Luo Qianqian, nodding slowly with an indescribable expression on his face. Seeing Luo Qianqian’s shock, his mood seemed quite good.

"So next time you come, you don’t have to pay," Luo Xinyue winked at Luo Qianqian with a mischievous smile.

Luo Qianqian’s face was full of astonishment, so what exactly was happening? Why did she feel like everything was getting blurry?

Luo Xinyue, indeed, was the grandfather’s son, the younger brother of the uncles and the older brother of the youngest uncle, right?

He was the Luo Xinyue who was reported dead early when she and Luo Shufan were still children, the former husband of their mother, and their... father, right?

Luo Qianqian saw that the kitchen was empty and wasn’t puzzled. If Luo Xinyue was the owner here, it wouldn’t be surprising for her and Luo Xiying to have the place to themselves.

"Your brother said you tend to cut yourself when chopping vegetables. Just help me wash the veggies," Luo Xinyue said as he looked at Luo Qianqian.

Luo Qianqian was startled and felt three black lines slide down her forehead. So, even when Luo Shufan was somewhere else, he still didn’t forget to entertain himself with her embarrassing moments? And to top it off, he was spreading the stories? What about her image!!!

Still, she obediently rolled up her sleeves and started washing the vegetables quietly.

As Luo Xinyue chopped the vegetables, he watched Luo Qianqian and smiled, "You’re much calmer than your brother. He absolutely couldn’t believe it at first and even used starvation as a tactic to force me to send him back."

"Me too," Luo Qianqian shook her head helplessly after hearing that. She still hadn’t fully processed it.

"Do you know how I managed to calm him down?" Luo Xinyue continued without pausing as he watched Luo Qianqian’s actions.

Looking at his skilled movements, it did not seem like he was someone who didn’t cook often, and Luo Qianqian was not worried.

"I guess, you probably threatened to take me away too," Luo Qianqian raised an eyebrow, similar to how she had been lured with the return of her brother.

Just like she cared for Luo Shufan, her brother would care about her too. They were siblings, and even if they couldn’t read each other’s minds, at the very least, they could consider each other’s feelings.

Luo Xinyue nodded in admiration, "Just like your brother said, you’re very smart." Then, after a moment, she said with a smile, "Have you considered swapping your brother back?" 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

"I haven’t considered it, let him have his fun," Luo Qianqian decisively shook her head.

A moment later, after putting down the last of the green onions, Luo Qianqian hesitated and looked at Luo Xinyue, "But I don’t understand, why not tell Grandpa?"

"He’s old," Luo Xinyue said calmly. "Since he has already accepted the fact that the white-haired person is sending off the black-haired person, there’s no need to put him through such a huge shock. As for your eldest uncle and second uncle, given their personalities, they would surely try to uncover the truth, and that would drag them into this vortex too..."

"What about my younger uncle?" Luo Qianqian noticed Luo Xinyue didn’t mention her younger uncle and frowned slightly.

Luo Xinyue curled her lips into a smile, "Him? He’s smart enough, which is exactly why he can’t know."

Because he’s smart, he can’t know? And because of personality? Because of age?

"Then why my brother..."

"That’s why I’ve restricted his external communications and only allowed him to contact you," Luo Xinyue said softly. "There are things he also wants to say, but now he understands he can’t, which is why I could leave him and come to see how you’re growing up."

Luo Qianqian’s face was filled with disbelief. Just what had her brother understood?

"You’re really not a clone? A genetic copy? A bioengineered person?" Luo Qianqian still couldn’t believe it, how could someone who was confirmed dead by everyone suddenly appear? How was she supposed to believe it?

"You know quite a lot," Luo Xinyue laughed, her face full of admiration.

Luo Qianqian was somewhat speechless. Was knowing a bit about things worthy of praise? And shouldn’t the normal response to such a claim be something like ’You’ve watched too many movies, haven’t you’?

"Actually, there were some reasons initially..." Luo Xinyue looked at Luo Qianqian and smiled, "At first, let alone Shufan not believing me, I didn’t believe him either."

"What?" Luo Qianqian’s face was full of confusion.

It made sense that Shufan didn’t believe Luo Xinyue given the current situation.

But for Luo Xinyue to not believe Shufan? What did that mean? After all, no matter what, they were father and son who had lived together, right?

"Do you know Shufan’s blood type?" Luo Xinyue looked at Luo Qianqian and asked with a light smile.

Luo Qianqian nodded, "Both my brother and I have B type blood, and mom is O type."

"Yes, you’re both B type," Luo Xinyue smiled. "Then do you know my blood type?"

"B type or AB type," Luo Qianqian blinked.

"Correct, but my current blood type is O type," Luo Xinyue said with a smile looking at Luo Qianqian. "So when I found out about your blood types, I somewhat lost control, thinking you weren’t my children."

Luo Qianqian frowned, "A sudden change in blood type? Pathological, or chemical..."

Pathological meant dealing with some serious blood disease, while chemical implied radiation...

A look of concern appeared on Luo Qianqian’s face. Luo Xinyue looked quite healthy, didn’t she?

Luo Xinyue nodded in great approval, "Indeed, a smart child."
