Chapter 6: Supreme Star Scripture (Part 2)

Supreme Star Scripture!

It was William’s most precious creation in the original timeline.

The second trait that William awakened was called Wisdom.

With the help of this trait, and by using every single technique he could gain access to as foundation, he created the Supreme Star Scripture.

You have to understand that after the Silver Wing Kingdom removed the restrictions on techniques, he gained access to hundreds of precious ones.

So, one could already imagine just how powerful a technique created using hundreds of high-level techniques as its foundation would be.

Unlike Samuel, who was still fourteen years old and couldn’t normally absorb Aether Energy to evolve, William was already sixteen years old.

Normally, he would have had to wait for the Aether Affinity Test, which was conducted throughout the Eastern Empire once every six months, before he could begin practicing.

Only after it was confirmed that he had Aether Affinity would he receive a basic technique that allowed him to absorb Aether Energy.

But now that he had all the memories from his future self, he didn’t need to wait for the Aether Affinity Test and could begin practicing on his own.

’In the original timeline, I had just created the Supreme Star Scripture and didn’t even get the chance to use it much before I died. But this time, I will create a foundation that is far stronger than my previous one.’

Unlike Samuel, who needed to continuously put pressure on his body to use body forging to strengthen himself, William didn’t need to do anything like that.

When he created the Supreme Star Scripture, he had already integrated the body-forging technique into it.

As such, he could directly strengthen his body and build a powerful foundation by using it.

As soon as William began to operate the Supreme Star Scripture from his memories, he felt a cold sensation wash over his entire body.

Even with his eyes closed, he could see colorful particles drifting all around him, floating freely.

This was Aether Energy, which was present everywhere in the world.

Normally, people couldn’t see it, only by using specific techniques could they perceive and absorb it.

The cold sensation William felt was because, the moment he activated the Supreme Star Scripture, the surrounding Aether Energy reacted to it and rushed toward him, enveloping his entire body.

But soon enough, the cold sensation faded, replaced by a tearing pain, as if someone were using sharp blades to cut his body from the inside.

The body-forging technique was somewhat similar to intense physical training.

Its unique breathing method rapidly exhausted and tore the muscles, then healed them. Through this constant cycle of damage and recovery, the muscles would gradually grow stronger.

In a way, it was similar to going to the gym.

But because of its unique breathing method, which allowed its user to utilize a limited amount of Aether Energy, this process was tens of times faster than ordinary physical training.

The Supreme Star Scripture accelerated this process even further.

This technique directly tore the muscles of the body in the most brutal way using Aether Energy, and then healed them rapidly.

Although this process was hundreds of times faster than using the body-forging technique, the pain experienced by the user was also magnified significantly.

But for William, this level of pain was within his tolerance.

After years of struggle in the original timeline, although he hadn’t reached the level where he could remain completely unfazed even if his arms were severed, he was already at a level where he could ignore most serious injuries and remain unaffected by pain.

As the Aether Energy tore apart and rebuilt his muscles, William could clearly feel that, although slowly, his body was becoming stronger at an astonishing rate.

Currently, William wasn’t using Aether Energy to increase his life level and become a Star Warrior.

Instead, he was using the first Chapter of the Supreme Star Scripture to strengthen his body to the very limit of human capability before becoming a Star Warrior.

And since he was using an extremely powerful technique, his body would become even stronger than that of a normal peak human once he completed the first Chapter.

William felt the changes within his body and, after calculating everything, estimated that he would be able to complete the body forging within at most five days.

Once completed, he could begin practicing the second Chapter of the Supreme Star Scripture and officially become a Star Warrior.

The Star Warrior realm was the first realm of the extraordinary.

Even the weakest Star Warrior possessed the power to punch through a concrete wall.

Some powerful ones, especially those with combat-oriented traits, were even capable of destroying an entire alley with a single attack.

After the Star Warrior realm came Star Commander, Star Lord, Star King, Star Emperor, and so on.

’Becoming a Star Warrior within a month with the help of the Supreme Star Scripture shouldn’t be difficult. I need to think about other matters.’

William diverted his attention to ignore the tearing pain in his muscles and began to think.

’Kill five normal monsters and one monster at the Star Warrior level.’

There were many dangers in this world.

And one of them was monsters.

Monsters evolved from normal animals after absorbing Aether Energy.

Of course, there were also offspring of powerful monsters that were born as true monsters rather than evolving naturally.

Generally speaking, it wouldn’t have been difficult for William to complete this task if he had the strength he possessed in the original timeline.

But in his current state, hunting a Star Warrior-level monster was not an easy task.

’Even though it’s difficult, if I use traps and other methods, I can still hunt one down. But the problem is—where can I even find a Star Warrior-level monster?’

William was currently in Rosco Barony, not in the Klaus Empire, an empire established by monsters—nor in the wilderness where wild monsters roamed freely.

All the areas around Rosco Barony had been cleared of monsters so that people could live safely.

If he wanted to hunt monsters, he would have to travel far away from the barony into the wilderness.

Not to mention it was extremely dangerous. There was always a chance that he might encounter a powerful monster there, and even his parents would never allow him to go out alone.

To leave the barony and hunt monsters, it would take him at least two or three days, even in the best-case scenario.

If he couldn’t find a suitable target, it would take even longer.

It was simply impossible for him to leave for such a long time without telling his parents.

’What should I do?’ William frowned as he searched through his memories for anything that could help him.

Even while thinking about other matters, he did not lose focus and continued operating the Supreme Star Scripture.

As Aether Energy continued to pour into his body, tearing and repairing his muscles repeatedly, his strength continued to increase.

However, William could also feel that his body was reaching its limit for the day.

Although the Supreme Star Scripture was an extremely high-level technique, it was not omnipotent.

Even with rapid healing after muscle damage, his body still experienced strain, and if this process continued for too long without rest, it would result in irreversible damage.

Each day, he could only use the first Chapter of the Supreme Star Scripture for a short period before needing proper rest.

Otherwise, if he could practice continuously without restriction, he would have been able to complete the first Chapter in a single day.

Samuel, who had just sat down to rest, looked at his brother strangely. Even though he couldn’t see the Aether Energy surrounding William, he could still sense that something strange was happening.

How could he tell?

It was simply because the density of Aether Energy around William had reached a level where his figure appeared distorted in Samuel’s vision, as if he were sitting inside a thick veil of fog.

’Just how did Brother come to know about these powerful techniques?’ He couldn’t help but think, feeling that William had changed far too much in just a single day.

Of course, William knew that his sudden change in behavior would arouse suspicion in Samuel and the others.

But he wasn’t worried about it, as he knew his family well.

They might feel concerned at first, but they wouldn’t do something like take him to the Church of Light for a checkup, thinking he was possessed—especially since there was no such thing as possession in this world.

’Did he create these techniques himself?’ Samuel finally thought, feeling that he might be right.

"Well, it doesn’t matter how he learned these techniques. The important thing for me is to practice them properly."

Around ten minutes later, Samuel recovered some of his strength and stood up to continue training.

Although it was very difficult for him to lift the heavy stone while maintaining the unique breathing rhythm, he had no intention of giving up easily.

He had always been troubled by his weak body, and now that he could finally see a path to improving it, he would naturally give it his all.

A few more minutes passed, and Samuel once again reached his limit.

Thud!

He dropped the stone from his hands and collapsed onto the ground, panting heavily.

His entire body was drenched in sweat, and his chest rose and fell rapidly due to his unstable breathing.

’I am... I am feeling like I am dying...’ He thought, feeling so exhausted that he couldn’t even lift a finger.

Just as Samuel was overwhelmed with fatigue, William finally opened his eyes, and the Aether Energy surrounding him dispersed.

’How could I forget about that event...’ A look of excitement flashed in his eyes as he recalled something from his past life.

He stood up and looked into the distance, where a mountain could be seen beyond Rosco Barony.

’That place should be somewhere out there. As long as I find it, I will not only be able to complete the trial of killing monsters, but I will also make a huge profit.’
