Chapter 32 - Before The Wedding
<(x33) Crystallite Set (Common) has been crafted!>
"Fuck this," Rael said through a massive yawn.
It was worth it, of course, as the skill leveled up significantly.
He could keep doing this as long as he wanted, but he started getting bored midway through.
But I really do need to step my shit up. Once I reach level 50, the 10% MP and HP out of combat will drop to a mere 2%. Rael thought with a grumble as he got off the bed.
Thankfully, he still had a long way to go before reaching level 50.
He felt like shit, so Rael swiftly showered and bought himself some fancier clothes.

• Male Royal Garments [Night Black] (Common): 1,000 Trell
1,000 Trell for clothes is simply crazy. Rael thought with a deep sigh.
There was also a neat setting he found while playing around with the interface during the night.
He wasn't a genius, but it was obvious the wedding would be very formal, so he didn't want to show up in ripped black clothes and banana peel boots.
But marriage... It kind of scared him.
What if he stared at her chest for too long? Would that count as treason?
Focus... He took a deep breath and put on his new pair of clothes before heading out of his room and going downstairs.
The innkeeper flashed him a strange look. "You are into some serious roleplay if you're wearing that in this shithole."
"I'm feeling quirky today," Rael said with a shrug. "Did I miss anything? Any big announcements?"
"I guess you could call it big," the innkeeper remarked, wiping a mug. "The queen is getting married in an hour."
"Oh yeah? Sounds interesting," Rael replied with a smile.
"I wonder who's the lucky man..." the innkeeper added with a sigh.
Haha... Alright, I got my daily dose of an ego boost. It's time I get moving. Rael thought with a grin as he waved his goodbyes to the innkeeper and made his way out.
The streets were busy as per usual, but of course, there was a carriage waiting outside, with a neat-looking butler bowing at him.
"Greetings, Your Majesty," the butler said, and before the curious crowd could react to what was happening, Rael was escorted inside the carriage, comfortably sitting down.
Ahh... Is this the rich life?
Of course, this wasn't his money, but his soon-to-be wife's, but still...
Before I forget... Rael glanced into the premium shop.

• The rarest perfume made out of mithril powder and strawberry (Common): 250 Trell
Absolutely no conscience. Rael purchased it and tested it out.
Not bad, it's definitely just strawberry and no mithril powder, but I can work with this.
Finally, Rael felt like he was ready, and as he looked out the little peephole of the carriage, he saw the palace not too far away.
However, unlike last time, it was fully open to the people.
And of course, there was a massive crowd this time, gathering all the way up to the inner courtyard.
But that was not where he was heading. Instead, there was an estate beside the palace with a massive balcony.
So that's where we'll announce it. He nodded to himself, and soon, the carriage stopped.
Rael could hear all sorts of murmurs but proceeded to ignore them as he confidently stepped out and began walking toward the estate.
No one approached him. Frankly, no one even cheered his name.
Why? No one knew who Rael was.
It didn't take long for him to be led inside as he went up the stairs to the topmost room.
Finally, he stood before the door, took a deep breath, and swung it open.
Zafira was merely sitting on the bed beside the balcony, playfully swinging her legs.
Yet the moment she noticed Rael, she stopped, putting on a confused look.
"Those aren't the clothes I had delivered to you."

"Was I supposed to get something?" Rael asked with a tilt of his head.
He tried recalling, and soon, he facepalmed.
That oddly well-wrapped box beside his room wasn't takeout, but a suit.
Rael glanced into her eyes. "...Will it be a problem?"
"Nope. Celestara is pretty loose with attire. Besides, they won't even notice the difference from below," Zafira assured as she stood up and walked over to him, flashing a smile. "Let's practice."
"I'm pretty well-versed in holding hands, Zafira," Rael replied, making her let out a giggle.
"Not that, silly. Since you didn't pick up the garments I had given you, then that means you also didn't get the prepared speech."
Hearing that, Rael froze.
I fucking hate speeches... Seriously?
"Do I have to?" he asked with reluctance.
"Don't worry, you only have three lines," Zafira assured, passing him a note.
He read through it, his brow rising.
"I'm glad to be married to the greatest woman on the continent...? Till death do us part? I wish her children... reflect on the future of Celestara? What kind of bullshit is this?"
"I know how it sounds, but it's what the people want to hear," Zafira said with a shrug as a grin appeared on her face. "Is someone embarrassed? Here I thought your boldness was limitless."
Rael rolled his eyes. "I'm only bold when it comes to women and money. I don't really like talking with thousands of people watching my every breath."
"Well, that's how I have to deal with the world every single day," Zafira said firmly. "But I understand. I won't force you if you don't want to."
"No, it's fine. Fears are meant to be conquered," Rael replied, cringing at what he had just said.
"Yeah, I can tell you're nervous," Zafira said, giggling before stretching her hand out. "Anyways, let's practice our lines. Ready?"
He let out a deep sigh before nodding.
"Ready."
