Chapter 1277: Chapter 1276: A Discussion Sparked by Daughters

After reading the message sent by Fabian Holmes, Easton Holmes immediately deleted it. Originally planning to go home, he changed his mind and called Lily Turner, lying that he was going to meet an old friend and wouldn’t be back for dinner.

Lily Turner trusted Easton completely. When she heard he was meeting an old friend, she didn’t doubt him at all.

"Easton isn’t coming back for dinner?" asked Amelia Linton casually as she sat nearby, upon seeing Lily hang up the phone.

Lily Turner nodded, "Yeah, he said he’s going to meet an old friend."

"Oh!" Amelia Linton responded without suspicion since she was unaware of the situation. She tilted her head slightly and glanced toward the door, "Why haven’t your dad and Anan come back yet? Did the two of them go out for a feast again?"

It was past the usual time for them to be home, yet the grandfather and grandson were still not back, making her suspect they went out for a big meal.

Lily Turner picked up her phone to check the time; indeed, it was getting late. "Anan must have insisted on going out with dad again."

Lily had often seen Anan pestering his grandfather, Fabian Holmes, to go out. Each time she tried to say something, Fabian would stop her, making her feel overly sensitive.

Having seen it so often now, she’s gotten used to it and turns a blind eye, trying not to mention Anan in front of her father-in-law.

Not only does she avoid mentioning Anan to her father-in-law, but also in front of her mother-in-law and grandfather. Those two are even more protective of Anan; she’s experienced that more than ten times by now.

"Rosie! Evie! When will you two little ones be like your brother and go out for a feast with grandpa?" Amelia Linton gently touched the faces of the twin sisters playing in the crib. They were even chubbier than Anan at that age, but their plumpness made them irresistibly cute.

Lily Turner leaned over to look at her two daughters lying in the crib, shaking her head disapprovingly, "They can’t have any more feasts, they’ll just get fatter and fatter."

Her daughters were already too chubby, exceeding what she could accept. She didn’t want them to grow up so overweight, as it affected both appearance and health.

"Chubbiness is what makes them cute," Amelia Linton disagreed with Lily. As long as her granddaughters were healthy, she didn’t mind if they were chubby. She wasn’t going to control their diet.

In response, Lily Turner blurted out, "You won’t find them cute if they’re still this chubby when they’re older."

Her daughters looked cute with their baby fat at four months, but what if they were like that at four years old? She didn’t dare to imagine it.

"No matter how old or how chubby they get, I will always find our two little sweethearts adorable," Amelia Linton felt the more she looked, the more lovable her two granddaughters were.

Seeing how much Amelia adored her daughters, Lily Turner didn’t say more. Though she kept quiet on the surface, she couldn’t help but think in her heart.

Lily was determined not to let her daughters become so chubby. She intended to control their weight and not let this continue.

If she doesn’t control it while they’re young, it will be difficult to do so when they’re older. By then, their stomachs would already be stretched, leaving them unsatisfied with less food, leading to overeating and weight gain, resulting in a vicious cycle.
