"Shang Kui? Is there something wrong?" Jun Lin’s voice came from outside.
Shang Kui, who was getting used to control her body again after such a long time, raised her head and smiled faintly.
She had noticed that Jun Lin looked somewhat different from usual.
At least, he was different from how he used to be in her memory.
Shang Kui was confused in the beginning.
She thought that she remembered things wrongly.
But then she thought about the Time and Space Administrator.
If they could let someone else play her role for a while, can’t they do the same to Jun Lin?

Xiang Kui had become Shang Kui for such a long time, but no one had truly realized this. Instead, they thought that she’s the real and genuine Shang Kui.

"Let’s go tomorrow, I want to rest today."
"Okay."
Jun Lin readily agreed with Shang Kui glanced at the two people who were still arguing outside. "Does the Shang Family not planning to interfere with those two people?"
It was not a good thing to be seen fighting against Bing Hong Xiang all the time.
People would start to wonder if the two families’ relationship were really that bad.
Shang Kui’s eyes flickered as she said, "It’ll depend on what my father wanted to do."
Even she couldn’t tell what her father actually wanted to do with Shang Xiyue and Bing Hong Xiang because he kept on letting them stay alive and have such a bad relationship with each other.
Does the Shang Family Head wants them to reconcile?
But it didn’t look that way.
And if Shang Kui had to say, it seemed that Bing Hong Xiang’s control over the Bing Family itself had already weakened considerably and it was unknown how many people were still willing to be close to him.

"I see." Jun Lin nodded and chose to ignore Bing Hong Xiang and Shang Xiyue.
The two of them chatted for a while and then Jun Lin left again.
While Shang Kui was still admiring Bing Hong Xiang and Shang Xiyue, a servant of the Shang Family suddenly came to her.
"Miss, the Shang Family Head would like to see you."
"Huh?" Shang Kui moved her gaze away from Bing Hong Xiang and Shang Xiyue, her gaze was filled with confusion.
Why did her father suddenly want to see her?
It couldn’t be because she was only watching Bing Hong Xiang and Shang Xiyue fought without interfering, right?
Shang Kui didn’t want to get involved with these two people!

The Shang Family Head was so busy that he barely had any time to care about Shang Kui.
So it was strange for the Shang Family Head to ask for her to come so suddenly.
But Shang Kui didn’t think too much and went over to the hall where the Shang Family Head was already waiting for her.

"Father?" Shang Kui asked uneasily.

The Time and Space Administrator told her that no one would be able to find their traces, but if someone replaced her, those who were close to her might be able to notice that something is wrong with her.
At most, they would think that her personality was affected by something.
As for what that something is... that would depend on what kind of world background their original world was in.
"Have you calmed down?" The Shang Family Head asked slowly.
"Huh?" Shang Kui was confused.
"Your mental state is calmer than before. It seems that you have put down the burden in your mind. So, can you tell me what you have been thinking so far?" The Shang Family Head asked slowly.
