"I originally thought about waiting until the matter with little sis was solved before house hunting, but didn’t expect you’d buy one first," Duan Yunquan laughed, "If the renovation isn’t good, I’m not responsible."

As they talked, they arrived at Duan Yunquan’s room, which indeed was as Ye Qiu mentioned, minimalistic styled. In light grey tones, despite its simplicity, and although meant for guys, it struck Lee Shishi that even a girl could fall for this style.

"Looking at second brother, it seems he won’t be bringing a second sister-in-law home anytime soon. For now, it’ll be like this; if she doesn’t like it later, we’ll change," Ye Qiu said dismissively.

Duan Yunquan spoke quietly, "Do I have no choice?"

"What aesthetic does a big guy like you have? Do you think your decoration will be prettier than mine?" Ye Qiu glanced at him sideways.
