Chapter 229: Magic / 6.16 : Something just for him
Atlas walked his sister and Su Xin out. He’ll make sure that those two have the fairytale wedding and ending they deserve. When Yun’er was in the carriage she waved at him with shiny eyes and he waved back with a smile.
It feels weird to have a sister that is actually nice and so sweet. Furthermore, the entire time she believed Atlas was dead she still listened to what he would always tell her.
When Atlas was away for a few days to help people in need he would always tell her to be strong for their father. Even if she was heartbroken she still showed grace and strength.
He and Yun’er were always together so he can’t imagine how hard it must’ve been for her. It didn’t help when she found out that someone was after the man she loved because he wanted to marry her.
In the end, she felt like she didn’t deserve to be happy, and then she was arrested with their father and died. Atlas went back inside and saw the twins waiting for him.
They both held his hand and led him to the royal chambers after saying:
"We have something for you."
When they arrived Yitian took off his robes and only left him with a thin white robe. He was confused but didn’t say anything.
Yitian took off his dragon robes and Yujin his robes then took his hands again. They walked to a wall and it moved. Atlas looked at the passage behind the secret door curiously.
They walked in the tunnels that were lit by torches after the secret door closed behind them. When they reached their destination Atlas looked at it stunned. He let go of the twins’ hands and looked around speechless.
There was a large room covered in tiles whether on the walls or floor except in the middle because there was a fire pit the kind Atlas had in the cave but much more sophisticated. On the back left corner was a huge pool and on the right a bed.
Then in the front left corner was a table with pillows around it. The room was bigger than his cave and the dispositions of the pool, bed, table, and fire were the same except that it was high-end.
It looked like building all of this must have cost the twins a lot. Their model was clearly his cave. Atlas walked to the pool and looked at it excitedly. He does miss swimming every night.
Atlas walked to them and gazed at their faces. He asked:
"How long did it take you to have all of this built?"
Yujin answered:
"It was finished a month before you came back."
"Why did you do it? What if I hadn’t come back?"
Yitian said:
"We would have never stopped looking for you and we could tell how much you loved your cave so we thought we could bring it here. Like that, if you ever need time alone you can come here, or if you need to cultivate in peace."
Atlas looked at them teary-eyed. The twins felt over the moon when they saw how touched he was. They just want him to be happy, Atlas deserves the best, especially after everything he’s done and still doing for them.
They pulled him in their arms and Atlas hugged them back. He’ll indeed miss the cave in the way that he liked to swim and be able to cultivate in a quiet space.
Plus this whole room is beautifully built and he loves it, there are even stairs to enter the pool. He pulled back and said with an excited smile.
"Let’s swim."
Yitian smiled.
"We made sure it was deep enough since you like to swim in deep water."
Atlas smiled brightly and took off his robes.
The twins looked at him jump in the water with an amused smile, he looked like a kid. They both took off their robes and entered the pool. Yujin sat on the stairs his body only covered to his waist looking at Yitian and Atlas playing.
Atlas wrapped his arms around Yitian’s neck and he wrapped his arms around his waist. He leaned in and kissed him, and Yitian kissed him back.
He pulled back and asked:
"Did you miss us?"
When Atlas shook his head no he looked at him with narrowed eyes while Yujin chuckled. Yitian asked with a malicious smile:
"Then why is our golden broach in your hair like it’s been since you came back?"
Hearing that Yujin entered the water and swam to them. He didn’t realize he had it since he came back. Atlas said lifting his head proudly.
"You should be honored that I’m wearing your old broach."
The twins chuckled and Yujin asked seriously:
"When did you start wearing it?"
Atlas met his eyes.
"The day you left."
The twins looked at him stunned, even if they knew that Atlas wasn’t indifferent to them they didn’t think that his feelings were anywhere near theirs. They love him while at most all they can say is that Atlas like them.
But the fact that he kept it so close to him the whole time makes them hopeful that he’ll come to love them too. Atlas could tell that the twins were touched, this broach means a lot to them and they would always share it.
It was a gift from their mother and they’ve been sharing it since they were six years old. Yitian caressed his cheek and said:
"You must never stop wearing it."
Atlas said:
"Let’s share it as you did before."
Atlas let go of him and pulled it out of his hair. He put it in Yujin’s hair and said:
"In a month we’ll come back here and trade."
The twins smiled and he smiled back.
Atlas looked at them and said:
"There’s something we should’ve done but we didn’t get to."
The twins looked at him confused after trying to remember something they might’ve promised but couldn’t do. Atlas smiled seductively.
"Don’t you want to make me yours and have me in every possible way?"
The twins’ eyes darkened. Of course, they do, there is so much they want to do to him. Atlas pulled their hands and they walked out of the pool to the bed.
