Chapter 133: Mafia / 1.19 : Merging
Atlas was working on his computer when someone barged into his office. He looked at A-Xuan, his eyes were red and he looked furious. It was easy to deduce that Yixin told him everything. He slammed the door and yelled:
"How could you do this to me Atlas, you stole my fiance!"
Atlas looked at A-Xuan uneasy and said:
"But you canceled your wedding with him, I thought you didn’t care."
A-Xuan walked to the desk and screamed:
"I only did because Yixin didn’t want to have a double wedding with you. Don’t you get that he’s only with you to make you jealous because I ended our relationship?"
Atlas looked at him sadly and asked:
"Really?"
"Of course really, Yixin and I have known each other forever, no one knows him better than I do. He doesn’t love you he just wants to make me jealous."
Atlas asked:
"Then why did he ask me to stay with him at the hotel even after my heat ended and hired a private investigator to find me when I wouldn’t give him more information about me? He didn’t know who I was when we met, he didn’t even know my name or what I did."
A-Xuan looked at Atlas trembling in rage. So Yixin loved Atlas so much that he went as far as to hire someone to find him.
He was about to order him to end the relationship when Atlas said:
"I’ve been feeling guilty about all of this and I think it’s best if I leave the planet and go back to Olmides. I asked Shen to draw the paper so you can inherit everything now. You just have to sign."
A-Xuan was stunned, he and his father thought they would have to make his death look like an accident but it seems like the guilt he feels for having been with Yixin was way more efficient.
The best part in all of this is that he’ll get everything and Atlas will leave for good. They’ll make sure his spaceship crash then Yixin will come crawling back to him. Atlas handed him a tablet and said:
"Sign here."
A-Xuan signed it and after Atlas showed him two more empty squares he signed them. As Atlas used his computer he said:
"I’m sending everything to the notary so you’ll inherit everything in the next couple of days then I’ll leave so I won’t make trouble anymore."
A-Xuan ordered:
"Stay away from Yixin in the meantime he doesn’t love you. Do you understand?"
Atlas nodded with wet eyes. A-Xuan asked:
"Did you send the paper?"
Atlas nodded and said:
"I have I’ll come home in a couple of days to give you all the legal papers."
A-Xuan nodded and left slamming the door behind him. When he was gone Atlas looked at the contract he had made him sign with a malicious smile. How is someone so stupid related to him?
"He did what?"
Huang yelled furiously when he heard everything that had happened between Atlas and Yixin. He can’t believe those two became mates completely unbothered by A-Xuan’s feelings. He hugged his darling son, he was surprised that he wasn’t crying. He knows full well how much he loves Yixin. He pulled back and asked:
"Are you okay?"
A-Xuan paced in a circle and said:
"I wasn’t but now I am."
Huang frowned.
"A-Xuan what’s going on?"
"It’s a good thing that all of this happened now that Han is dead."
"What do you mean?"
He stopped and looked at his father.
"I went to see Atlas. You know how desperate he’s always been for me to love him, and now that he was fucked by my ex-fiance he feels guilty and ashamed. He decided to give me the entire inheritance and leave for Olmides in two days."
Huang looked at A-Xuan stunned.
A-Xuan said:
"When I was there he already had the contract ready, Shen drew it and all I had to do is sign the inheritance transfer papers. After I did I watched him send it to the notary so it’s official and he can’t take it back. In two days he’ll come home with the legal processed papers. All we have to do is make sure he has an accident in that spaceship when he leaves for Olmides then Yixin will come crawling back to me."
Huang finally understood why his son wasn’t upset. He smiled viciously and said:
"Once everything is ours father promise that Atlas will have the most painful death in the galaxy."
A-Xuan smiled just as viciously.
Huang pulled out his cellular when it rang.
"Hello?"
A-Xuan looked as his father darkened as more time passed. Huang yelled:
"Why didn’t anyone call me or A-Xuan?"
A-Xuan frowned, from the sound of it something terrible has happened. Huang asked:
"What about Zheng?"
Hearing the answer Huang threw his cellular against the wall and it broke into pieces. A-Xuan asked:
"Father, what is it?"
"Let’s go I need to check warehouse C."
A-Xuan followed his father and left for the Yao Centers warehouse. Huang’s breathing was loud as they were getting closer. If Atlas dared to do what they say he did he’ll burn him.
Huang opened the door and entered the warehouse. The entire space had been burnt, it was clear that an accelerant had been used. They were charred bodies on the ground. A-Xuan looked around stunned and asked:
"Did Atlas do this?"
"That’s what I heard."
Huang checked the bodies but it was impossible to know who it was before.
He went to the reception to see which employees were absent and he felt slightly panicked. He pulled A-Xuan to an empty room and said:
"All the people who died worked for us."
A-Xuan looked at him wide-eyed.
"That means Atlas must know."
Huang thought and said:
"If he does why would he give you everything and leave? He said that he wants to make sure Gaozong’s hard work is preserved. If he knew he wouldn’t leave."
"Maybe he doesn’t know who they were supporting."
Huang nodded and thought some more.
Even if Atlas knows what they are up to it’s too late he signed everything away.
"He probably knows that those people wanted us to run the clan so he killed them so when we take over we won’t have anyone who isn’t loyal to Gaozong at our side."
A-Xuan said:
"That would make sense."
Huang urged:
"Don’t mention the warehouse act like you’re in the dark okay? In two days he dies anyway."
A-Xuan nodded.
Atlas was sitting on his bed reading a book on his tablet. He was so focused that he didn’t hear Yixin sneak behind him and peeking at it. Yixin sat next to him and asked:
"Why are you reading a book about raising children?"
Atlas narrowed his eyes at the snake. Yixin smiled and pulled him on his lap.
"Come on tell me."
Atlas said:
"I just wanted to make sure of something."
Yixin tilted his head. Atlas said:
"I don’t want to have children and I don’t know if you do. We probably should have had this conversation before we bonded."
Atlas was looking down like he was worried about Yixin’s answer. Yixin lifted his head and said:
"My mother was the only person I had feelings for. After he passed I didn’t and I always believed the way I would be able to feel again is if I had kids. I thought that if I had a child with my partner it would open my heart to him somehow."
Atlas checked Versem and saw that it’s exactly what happened in the OG timeline. When Yixin had an omega he immediately fell in love with the baby and then A-Xuan. He believed that the person who made the person he loved most in the world must be special and he started to have feelings for A-Xuan and it turned into love.
Yixin said:
"But the moment I saw you I started to feel. Honestly, I feel possessive of you and I don’t want to share you. It’s already going to be hard enough to spend long hours of the day away from each other as clan leaders."
Atlas finally relaxed, he didn’t realize how worried he was. He circled his neck and said:
"I don’t want to share you either. I thought of something but you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to."
"What is it?"
"I thought we could merge both clans so we could work together. We’ll find the right person to take over when it’s time to retire and we’ll travel the galaxy together. What do you think?"
Yixin looked at Atlas not responding. Atlas said pouting:
"You don’t have to ignore me, I told you if you don’t want to it’s fine."
He was surprised when Yixin kissed him but he responded just as enthusiastically.
He looked at him when he pulled back and said:
"I wanted to propose that but I was worried you might say no."
Atlas smiled, he and the big boss are really in sync. He kissed him and said:
"I wouldn’t have said no, I love spending time with my soulmate."
Yixin looked at Atlas emotionally and hugged him tightly. Atlas smiled and caressed his neck. He’s not going to let him go so easily.
