Chapter 130: Mafia / 1.16 : Approval
"Hello?"
A-Xuan couldn’t recognize the voice on the other end so he asked:
"Hello, who is this?"
"This is Xiong Han’s brother."
A-Xuan was confused as to why he was picking up but simply said:
"I need to speak to Han."
When there was silence on the other end he asked:
"Are you there?"
Xiong said:
"Han passed away this afternoon."
A-Xuan was stunned, when Kuang saw his face he asked:
"What is it?"
A-Xuan put the cellular on speaker and asked:
"How did Han pass away?"
Kuang’s eyes opened wide upon hearing that.
Xiong explained:
"His ex-brother-in-law wanted to get revenge for what he did to his previous wife."
A-Xuan said:
"I see. My condolences for your loss."
Xiong said
"Thank you. I should go I have a lot to do."
"Of course good luck."
A-Xuan hung up and his hands tightened into fists. He just agreed not to marry Yixin so he would end up inheriting everything but now it’s all ruined. Tears started to run down his face as he said:
"Atlas will never agree to marry someone else. You said that he has feelings for Han so as soon as he learns that he is dead he’ll refuse to be with anyone else."
Kuang banged his fist on the table. He took a deep breath thinking.
After a few minutes, he looked up and said with a smile:
"Gaozong will say that we can’t inherit anything if Atlas’ death looks suspicious but if he dies in an accident with enough witnesses everything will be ours."
A-Xuan wiped his tears and asked:
"What did you have in mind?"
"Just make sure your wedding with Yixin is back on. Say that you thought about it and realized that you were wrong."
A-Xuan nodded and asked:
"Then?"
"Then father will take care of everything. The less you know the better."
A-Xuan nodded and hugged his father, at least he knows that he’ll always be at his side no matter what.
Atlas closed Versem with a smile. He couldn’t stop himself from chuckling. Shen and Yixin who were sitting around the table looked at him. Shen asked:
"What’s so funny?"
"Han is dead."
Shen smiled.
"That is funny."
Yixin asked:
"Are you sure no one will suspect Xiong?"
Atlas said:
"They won’t I used someone who lives on a different planet and had a grudge against him. There’s the security footage of him killing Han and he’s already back home."
Yixin nodded.
Atlas went back to eating and let Shen question Yixin. As he predicted Yixin showed up since he is jealous of Shen. As soon as they sat down to eat Atlas felt like he was watching a police interrogation. He understands since Shen sees him as his little brother and Yixin was engaged to his twin brother. He’ll have to punish that devil for not listening to him and ending his relationship with A-Xuan.
When they finished eating Atlas drank a glass of wine and asked Shen:
"So do you approve?"
Yixin narrowed his eyes at Atlas, even if he played along and answered all of Shen’s questions whether he is on board or not Atlas will become his mate tonight. Shen asked:
"Do you love him?"
Atlas answered honestly.
"I don’t know I’ve never been in love with anyone before so I’m not sure how I should feel."
"Do you like him?"
Atlas nodded. Shen looked at him for a few seconds and said:
"I approve, but if he does anything to hurt you I’ll kill him."
Atlas simply said:
"As you should."
Yixin looked between the two astonished, what the fuck? Do they even see him? Did he suddenly become invisible? They’re having a conversation like he isn’t even here. He stood up and after pulling Atlas he took his seat and pulled him onto his lap. Atlas looked at Yixin, he looked displeased that he might’ve not gone through with the relationship if Shen hadn’t approved. He asked:
"Are you angry?"
"What do you think? You wouldn’t be with me if he hadn’t approved."
Atlas said with a smirk:
"Or because I told you not to end your relationship with A-Xuan but you still did."
Yixin said:
"I’m finally in a real relationship I don’t want to hide or wait. You’re my soulmate and I want everyone to know."
Nothing about him and A-Xuan’s relationship was real but now that he’s with someone he loves he won’t wait any longer. Atlas’s heartbeat quickened when he saw the intensity in those lovely grey eyes. He just wants to eat him and hide at the same time. When he says sweet words like that he doesn’t know how to react. He looked away his cheeks flushed and said:
"I’ll let it go just this time."
Shen’s eyes flashed with amusement.
Yixin turned Atlas’ head. He said domineeringly:
"Tonight you’ll become my mate."
Atlas could only hear his heartbeat as he looked into Yixin’s fiery eyes. He does want to be with him and as soon as they bond tonight it will mean that they’ll be together forever. That man makes his heart beat and even if he asked him not to break up with A-Xuan he was happy he did.
He feels possessive when it comes to Yixin which is such a foreign feeling. He’s never met someone who made him want to be with him forever, he is sure he does. Even if he acted cool at the end of the week he didn’t want to leave Yixin that’s why he gave him his name. He thought that maybe he might look for him. Who is he kidding even if he never felt what love is he is sure he is in love with Yixin.
He likes falling asleep and waking up in his arms. He loves it when he says sweet words to him something he never cared for before. He loves when he looks at him with his shiny grey eyes enamored. He loves that he’s never been with anyone but him. He just loves him. Realizing that Atlas swallowed and nodded. Yixin smiled and gave him a peck. Tonight you’ll be mine forever.
