This man is Nico Aiken, the younger brother of Tom Aiken, who had disappeared.
Nico Aiken walked out of the cemetery and headed towards his car.
After taking a few steps, he suddenly turned and ran, realizing several men were chasing him.
Being older, Nico Aiken couldn't outrun the young men and was quickly caught by them.
A group of them easily subdued Nico Aiken as he struggled and shouted, "Who are you? What do you want? I warn you, if my assistant can't reach me within a day, they'll call the police. Then you'll all be in big trouble."
"Mr. Nico Aiken, if you hadn't run, we wouldn't have done this to you. Why did you run? Feeling guilty?" One man slapped Nico Aiken's face. "My brothers and I have been sent by the young lord to find you for days. Now that we've found you, how could we let you run?"
Hearing the mention of the young lord, Nico Aiken's expression changed slightly, and he stopped struggling, cautiously asking, "Who is your young lord?"
"Josh Reyes, also known as Jimmy Horne."
Nico Aiken's face instantly turned pale.
They are Jimmy Horne's people.
Nico Aiken knew very well who Jimmy Horne's brother was when he sent those photos and paternity test results to Ivan Horne.
He knew Ivan wanted to find him, and he'd been hiding carefully these days, not daring to show himself. Yet here he was, spotted at the cemetery and subsequently found.
"Mr. Nico Aiken, please come with us. Our young lord would like to have tea with you."
The men ignored Nico Aiken's pale face, forcing him towards their car, shoving him into the back seat. Two men in black got in after him, sitting on either side, ensuring he had no chance to escape.
Even if Nico Aiken were given the chance to run now, he wouldn't dare. He understood that once Jimmy Horne was looking for someone, even if they escaped to the ends of the earth, his men would have the ability to root them out.
Nico Aiken knew that the person truly wanting to meet him was Ivan Horne.
At the same time, Ivan Horne received a call from his cousin.
"You've found Tom Aiken's younger brother? Good, I'll head over immediately." Ivan Horne said, waving to Lia Aiken.
Lia Aiken came over, puzzled, and asked, "What's going on?"
Ivan grabbed her hand and said solemnly, "Your uncle has been found. I'll take you to see him."
He didn't mention that Nico Aiken might be Lia's father, as he still suspected the paternity test results had been tampered with.
Jimmy had been helping him search for Nico Aiken because he wanted to find him and have him redo the paternity test with Lia.
"My uncle?" Lia was stunned for a moment, then realized, her eyes widened, her face turning slightly grim, and the hand held by Ivan gradually grew cold. Ivan said tenderly, "Lia, steady yourself first, and talk to him when you meet him. He might not necessarily be your real father."
Lia replied bitterly, "My dad said that the test result is true."
"Anyway, let's meet him first. Tom is still in T City, Lia, shall we go back to T City together?" He hadn't settled issues with Grace Chandler yet.
Once they returned, he would sort things out with Grace Chandler.
Lia nodded.
The boss had an urgent matter and needed to leave immediately; the gallery was quickly closed.
"Everyone, really sorry, Lia has urgent matters to attend to. Please come back another day to buy paintings. Really sorry." Ivan Horne kept apologizing to the guests.
Though some were enjoying looking at the paintings, they understood, especially with Ivan Horne's apologies; they smiled, said it was fine, bid farewell to Ivan, and left.
Ivan Horne rushed out of River City with Lia, and they flew back to T City.
From the time Lia's background was exposed until now, three or four days had passed, during which Ivan had put aside his heavy work.
A few hours later.
T City.
In the hotel, Tom Aiken's door was being knocked on persistently.
"Mr. Tom Aiken, are you there? I'm Ivan Horne."
Hiding in his room without venturing out, Tom Aiken stood up from the sofa and walked over to open the door when he heard Ivan's voice.
Standing at the door, apart from Ivan and Lia, were Jimmy and Nico, among others.
Seeing Nico Aiken, Tom was stunned; the two brothers hadn't seen each other for nineteen years, and he thought this younger brother had died outside.
Nico Aiken sneered at his stunned brother, sarcastically saying, "What's this, brother? You don't recognize me anymore? Didn't expect I'd still be alive, huh."
The cigarette between Tom's fingers burned out, scorching his hand. He hissed in pain, coming back to his senses as he listened to his brother's sarcasm; he threw a punch suddenly, hitting Nico off guard, causing his nose to bleed.
Nico wasn't one to back down and fought back.
The brothers started fighting at the doorway; Ivan and the others didn't intervene.
Both brothers harbored grudges and hatred; meeting now, fighting was inevitable to quell their heart grudges.
Tom, perhaps weakened from days of despondency, was knocked down by Nico. Nico was about to kick his brother when Ivan stopped him.
"You bastard, I could kill you." Tom lost the fight, but didn't lose verbally, continuing to curse.
Lia stepped forward, bent down to lift him, and took out tissues to wipe the blood from his mouth and nose, saying, "Dad, you've vented enough, let's go inside to talk."
"Lia, he's not your dad; I am. Your mom was killed by him; you should hate him. Think about how he treated you all these years." Nico, after being pushed aside by Ivan, stabilized himself and shouted at Lia.
Lia turned a deaf ear.
She supported Tom in.
Yet Tom was furious, still cursing his brother while being led inside by his daughter: "She was killed by you. She was your sister-in-law. How could you do such a thing to her? You're despicable; you're a bastard. I wish I could kill you!"
If not for his brother, he could have led a happy life with his ex-wife; all tragedies were caused by him.
Nineteen years had passed; his brother still wouldn't let things be, continuing his revenge, dragging Lia into it. Fortunately, Ivan truly cared for Lia, otherwise…
Would anyone treat their own daughter like this?
"I don't care who she is to me; as long as she's your woman, your wife, I'll sleep with her. Haha, wearing a green hat feels great, doesn't it? She married you for so many years but spent more time in my bed than yours, haha! Mom and Dad were biased, giving the company to you, handing Aiken Family to you.
