He nodded his head, "So what are the prices for using the rooms here?"

The elder kindly smiled and shook her head, "Haha no no, there is no fee required for this. After all, we are training the core force of our sect. How can we ask for a fee from them?"

Shen Yuan looked suspiciously at her, not believing a single word of what she said. The elder also realized Shen Yuan was not buying her bullshit, she lightly coughed, "Cough, you won’t get this treatment in other sects. They have large lines of Core Disciples and Elders who always want to enter their core training area."

His eyes flashed with surprise, "I see, so that means we have a lower amount of Core Disciples and Elders than other Divine Grade Sect, am I right Elder?"

The elder became speechless at how fast he caught her meaning. "Sigh, you are right. Anyway, enough depressing talks, which room will you take? I still need to make an entry here."

Shen Yuan chuckled and said, "I will take a room on the Sixth floor."

"Oh? Peak of Dao Core Forming Realm? Your Cultivation only seemed to be in the Extreme Origin Core Realm young man, be careful over there." She didn’t try to dissuade him and only reminded him before sending him off.

Shen Yuan shrugged and ascended the stairs toward the Sixth floor. With each floor he got up, the atmosphere seemed to change. He didn’t encounter many disciples on his way above but still, there were one or two on each floor entering the rooms.

Soon, he reached the Sixth floor and pushed open the gate of one of the unoccupied rooms before it closed behind him.

"Hmm, not a bad place, quite spacious." He commented looking at the 100-meter room. Just then, a screen appeared in front of him, he wasn’t surprised as he thought it was the system screen.

But his eyes flashed with surprise as he realized it was the control box of the room, "Oh? Now this is interesting," he commented before tapping the screen a few times to see what functions it had.

"Not only can I change the size of the room but I can also change the terrain as well as fill the room with elemental Qi for training?" His eyes lit up with surprise.

He hurriedly walked forward and sat down cross-legged in the center of the room, "Let’s start with Yang intent since I have already learned the Fire Intent." He said before filling the room with Fire and Lava, making it a small volcanic domain.

[You should hurry up, you only have around a week before everyone leaves for the Competition.]

"More than enough time for me." He smiled and glanced back at the screen, "I can adjust the difficulty as well, a total of 10 levels huh. Well, the first level is nothing much for me."

He slowly increased it to the second level, not wanting to die like a salted fish if he increased the temperature too much at once.

Third level.

Fourth level.

Fifth level.

Finally, at the sixth level,l he felt the pressure becoming unbearable and he stopped increasing it further. "Haa…this should be the perfect place to master Intents in the future."

[But there is no time formation here you know.]

Yue Lan’s smug voice sounded in his mind.

Shen Yuan silently agreed but didn’t comment on it as he called forth his Fire Intent and Radiant Intent which were already at the fourth level. After enveloping himself in them, he began comprehending its mysteries, trying to decipher the superior Yang intent from the two lower intents.

He thought about the Scorching Sun, the highest source of Yang in their world, mulling over its source. And his own unparalleled Yang energy, which was always much stronger than his own stage.

A few days passed just like that, after adapting to the sixth stage, he had increased it to seven then to eight, and finally to ninth on the third day.

By this time, a vortex of flames had formed around him, surrounding and jumping around him as if he were the Sun God himself. All his clothes had burned off and he was sitting naked on the ground.

Yet not a single speck of flame had hurt his jade-like skin, his aura had solidified further while his Flame and Radiant Intent seemed to have improved. His Radiant Intent seemed to be making the most improvements as it seemed to be mutating.

But in the midst of it all, there seemed to be a higher force controlling everything, both Fire and Radiant intents seemed to be bowing to this superior aura that Shen Yuan was unconsciously releasing.

BOOM!!

All of a sudden, his body released a massive wave of Qi which blew away all the Fire Qi from his surroundings to the edge of the room.

"Haa…" He exhaled a long breath, which seemed to release a concentrated fiery aura. "Finally, first level Yang Intent." He smiled and said before standing up.

[Congratulations on mastering the First level of Yang Intent, even if you became naked in the process at least you achieved it.]

Shen Yuan calmly took out another robe and wore it before deactivating the Fire training room, "Well, now that I have learned the Yang Intent, learning Yin should become easier or harder?"

[It will become harder, and since you have learned neither Ice or Water intent, it will only be much harder for you to learn the Yin Intent.]

Yue Lan calmly said, reminding him about his lack of Water and Ice elements.

Shen Yuan rubbed his chin while thinking, "Well, I didn’t think I would need that so soon, otherwise I would have chosen water techniques instead of Wind technique last time." Explore more at freewebnovel

[Well what’s done is done, you should think about what you want to do.]

Shen Yuan thought about how much time he had left before sitting down cross-legged in the center of the room again. "Well, I should first make use of the remaining time, I will leave if I can’t achieve anything in four days."

He used the formations in the room to change the room to an icy and water training room. But he couldn’t raise the difficulty higher than the fourth level.

"Hisss…looks like I really need to master a water or ice elemental technique." He said, feeling the chill in the room before closing his eyes and concentrating.

"Moon…ocean…Primordial Yin…" he thought about all the Yin sources he was familiar with. All around his body, ice began to form, he didn’t use any of his Qi or intents to save his body from the cold as he wanted to use the extreme environment to advance.

On the second day when he increased the difficulty to the sixth level, his clothes froze and cracked, but he didn’t lose focus and continued trying to comprehend the intent.

By the fourth day, a cocoon of icy qi had formed all around him, encasing him in an icy hell.

Boom!!

A loud blast of fire Qi spread from the center of the training room, melting all the ice in the room and evaporating the water.
