Chapter 70: Normal Days 2

Gabriel had learned from their previous fight. He adapted his tactics, mixing his temporal abilities with his martial arts in ways that caught Lilith off guard. He slowed time around her, then accelerated his own movements, striking from angles she couldn’t predict.

But Lilith had also learned. She used her spatial abilities to counter his temporal manipulations, creating rifts that redirected his attacks. She blended her dark energy with her martial arts, her strikes carrying the weight of her demonic power.

They clashed again and again, their powers intertwining.

Gabriel created a temporal loop, trapping Lilith in a repeating sequence of movements. But she shattered it with a spatial rift, stepping out of the loop and counterattacking with a flurry of strikes.

She created a spatial cage around Gabriel, compressing space to crush him. He froze the cage in time, stepping out of it and creating a Blade of Light that he hurled at her.

She dodged, the blade grazing her shoulder, and retaliated with a blast of dark energy.

They were pushing each other harder than before.

They abandoned their weapons and fought hand to hand.

Gabriel used Wing Chun—his movements fast, precise, economical. He struck in rapid succession, each blow aimed at Lilith’s center.

Lilith used Jeet Kune Do—her movements fluid and adaptive, intercepting his attacks and redirecting their force. She flowed like water, her body responding to his every move.

They traded blows, their bodies a blur of motion. Gabriel’s fists were wreathed in golden fire. Lilith’s palms were shrouded in dark energy.

Their techniques clashed, fire meeting darkness, light meeting shadow.

Gabriel created a temporal bubble around Lilith, slowing her movements. She shattered it with a spatial rift and counterattacked, her palm striking his chest.

He staggered back, but recovered instantly, his fist aimed at her face.

She caught his fist with her palm, their bodies locked in a stalemate.

They stared into each other’s eyes, their breaths ragged.

They separated, creating distance.

Gabriel’s hands glowed with golden energy. He had an idea—a new technique, inspired by their previous fight. He would create a sphere of concentrated light and time, a small sun that would trap Lilith in a temporal loop of infinite duration.

But she was faster.

She stomped her foot, and the ground beneath Gabriel erupted—spatial rifts opening in a cascade of purple energy. He leaped, but the rifts followed him, trying to swallow him whole.

He created a temporal bubble around himself, freezing the rifts in place. He leaped out of the bubble and hurled the sphere of light at Lilith.

She opened a spatial rift and redirected the sphere back at him.

He froze it in time and shattered it with a punch.

They were evenly matched.

Both of them were running low on mana. Their breathing was heavy, their bodies covered in sweat.

Gabriel looked at Lilith. She looked at him.

They nodded.

This was it.

Gabriel poured all his remaining power into his spear. The golden blade blazed with light, temporal energy crackling around its edges. He raised it high, ready to strike.

Lilith gathered all her remaining power into her sword. The purple lightning intensified, spatial energy warping the air around her. She raised her blade, ready to meet his charge.

They moved simultaneously.

A basic straight punch—no, a thrust. And a basic vertical slash.

Their techniques collided.

KRAKOOOM!

The impact was cataclysmic.

The barriers shattered. The plateau cracked, fissures spreading across the stone. The mountain itself trembled, rocks falling from the surrounding cliffs.

When the dust cleared, Gabriel and Lilith stood facing each other.

Gabriel’s spear was pressed against Lilith’s throat, the tip just barely touching her skin.

Lilith’s sword was pressed against Gabriel’s chest, the edge just barely touching his shirt.

They were both frozen, their eyes locked.

A draw.

They lowered their weapons simultaneously, their faces breaking into wide grins.

"Not bad," Gabriel said, his voice hoarse.

"Not bad at all," Lilith agreed.

They collapsed onto the cracked stone, their bodies exhausted, their breaths ragged.

The mountain wind cooled their sweat-soaked skin. The sky was still blue, the clouds still drifting lazily.

Lilith turned her head to look at Gabriel. "That was even better than yesterday."

Gabriel turned his head to look at her. "It really was."

She reached out and took his hand. "I love you, Gabriel."

He squeezed her hand gently. "I love you too, Lilith. Always."

They lay there on the ruined plateau, their bodies aching, their hearts full.

The mountain was scarred. The stage was shattered. But the bond between them was stronger than ever.

They had pushed each other to their limits once again. They had tested each other’s power, each other’s will, each other’s love.

And they had come out even.

They stayed there for a long while, watching the clouds drift by, their hands intertwined.

Eventually, they rose, their bodies aching but their spirits high. They gathered their weapons and began the journey back to Tokkarion.

The mountain behind them bore the scars of their battle—a testament to the power of their love, the intensity of their bond.

And as they descended into the valley, the couple smiled.

They would spar again tomorrow. And the day after that. And the day after that.

Because that was what they did. They grew together. They fought together. They loved together.

And that was all that mattered.

°°°

That night, the couple did it again.

Lilith looked incredibly beautiful as she writhed in his arms.

"Gabriel, I’m about to—!"

"Ahh!! Cum... cum inside me. Cum inside me. I’m also... about to, let’s cum together."

She spoke love-drunk words, not caring about any possible consequences. She needed this. She wanted this. She wanted to reach the greatest heights of pleasure possible.

Once he had permission, Gabriel intensified his thrusting even more. His body felt like it was made of steel as he moved freely inside her, stirring her depths.

He used his angelic endurance to thrust again and again until Lilith surrendered before him by reaching climax before himself.

"Ah~!!"

She let out a wild cry as her entire body convulsed.

The crazed undulating motion of her body repeated again and again, and she tightened seductively around him.

This was the last straw for Gabriel. He grabbed her hips and pushed all the way in, then groaned and spilled his seed deep inside her while continuing his piston-like movements.

"Ohhhhhh!"

Lilith trembled wordlessly as her body continued contracting again and again until she had drawn out every last drop, her eyes rolling back as the pleasure overwhelmed her.

She soon fell asleep, but she could feel the sensation of something cool running along her body and a smile bloomed on her face—her man was so sweet. He would always take care of her after she passed out during their intimate moments. She would stay with him forever.

After cleaning their bodies, Gabriel slept, letting Lilith use his arm as a pillow.

Late in the night, Lilith woke up but didn’t immediately leave the bed. She observed Gabriel’s sleeping face and was entranced. She caressed his face while declaring softly.

"I love you.

That means I would cross worlds and defy fate itself to find you. Through death and rebirth, through shadows and light, I would search every corner of existence just to hold you again.

It means I will stand beside you when the world crumbles and the skies fall. It means I will laugh with you in moments of joy and hold you close when sorrow weighs heavy.

It means I will never betray you, never abandon you, never forget what we are to each other.

It means finding my fire when you, my beloved, are threatened—yet never waging war for the sake of pride, only doing what is necessary to protect what is ours.

Love says I forgive you when you err, as you have forgiven me. Love says though life may test us, I am yours into eternity, and I will never let you go.

It means I will never put you in danger for any cause, no matter how noble it may seem. It means protecting this world we walk together, being kind to the creatures within it, but should anyone demand your life to save their own—I will tell them to rot in hell.

There can never be a higher calling for me than protecting and caring for those I love. You are my home, Gabriel. My anchor. My reason for being.

Love is not a concept for those who flee at the first sign of fear. It is a concept for those who stand their ground, who fight, who endure. So be brave, my love, and know that I am here. Always.

I am yours, and you are mine. And nothing—not death, not fate, not all the forces of heaven or hell—will ever change that."

°°°

Meanwhile, in the angel’s realm, that woman, the current ruler of this realm just received Gabriel’s portait and the moment she looked at it, her body shuddered.

’’!!!"

’’So, it’s really you. You have been reincarnated. This time you’ll never escape.’’ her eyes gleamed dangerously, there was madness and possessiveness mixed in. A storm was brewing. The God’s substitute wasn’t about to let her prey slip away for the second time, any obstacle shall be removed.

Let’s us use this opportunity to erase those lowly vermins for good.
