Chapter 84: Shocking Geniuses!

(A/N: Thank you for the castle! Your support is my drug, I will mass release tommorow:)

....

The Ding echoed throughout the continents; it wasn’t loud like a normal bell. Instead, it merely resonated within everyone.

Zeratheil closed his eyes when the sound of the bell resounded; to others, it may be just the ring of a bell. But to him? It was a silent hum, a recognition, and an answer.

The space around him twisted violently and became extremely unstable, at least a small part of it.

From the tip of the branch, a thin vertical line ripped through the air and went straight to the ground.

The line was thin, extremely thin. It was just a bit thicker than a safety pin. But despite that, Zeratheil and Soleine were surprised.

"This...isn’t this much thicker than the last time?"

Soleine spoke, earning a nod from both Akar and Zeratheil. The space around the line twists and turns.

Seeing this, Soleine nodded. For a second, she tilted her head, and her eyes flashed. The other leaders, too, sent some sort of signals.

And then, they came.

They came from every direction simultaneously; it was as if they were waiting for the signal.

The first to arrive were the Dragonkin and their various factions from the east; they were traveling in two columns with surprising discipline.

A youth was leading them, and from his aura, he seemed to be a Third Stage Verth Shaper.

Deep, blazing orange scales shone on him and a few others. There were four factions in that group.

The Blazefang, Stormhorn, Ironscale, and lastly VoidClaw. Each had their chests puffed up proudly.

In the fifth faction, they had the royal dragon’s insignia carved into their armour. They were, of course, from the capital.

Headed by Seraveth herself.

From the interiors of the vast Aelvorn Forest, clans started to emerge; the trees parted for the noble elves. There were four groups, and they were all walking separately, each headed by a Verth Shaper.

"Ooo! Not bad."

Soleine nodded when she saw the Verth Shaper heading the Royal Family of Zephrus. It was a High Elf with a royal bloodline. He had flowing silver hair cascading down his shoulders, and his face was perfect beyond mortal standards.

But the reason Soleine was surprised was...his Verth!

From the hundred and fifty Verth Practitioners behind him, his Verth alone eclipsed and suppressed everyone’s.

Meaning he had more Verth than the present cultivators combined...including the other Verth Shapers.

Zeratheil chuckled when he heard Soleine, clutching his hands behind his back. He smiled.

"He is indeed an anomaly among the Elves. It hasn’t even been two proper centuries since he was born."

"...No way, that young and already this powerful? Zeratheil, just where did you put your thing?"

Soleine couldn’t believe her ears. The Elven lifespan was vastly different from that of the other present races.

To say it was superior was...technically right. They had abnormally long lives; their Verth reserves were vast compared to those of the other races.

And the royal Elves? They were different even among the Elves, unlike the normal Elves who had generally weaker bodies. These were different.

They had absurdly strong bodies with immunity as strong as an average Stage Three Verth Seeking Human!

Zeratheil felt his brows twitch when he heard those crude words, not just him. The rest of the leaders looked at Soleine strangely.

This woman...she was far too crude for an Empress.

The Elves, headed by the silver-haired man, quietly stood in the distance...facing Zeratheil’s back.

Seraveth did the same; she stood behind Alzerath’s shadow. Her eyes couldn’t help but wander towards Soleine.

Suddenly, an intense wave of killing intent spread through her body, and she clenched her fists.

"This bitch...acting all high and mighty. Just wait till I break through to the Second Phase, then I’ll settle the scores one by one. And take him...all to myself."

She muttered with her hair covering her eyes, and the people behind her cringed and hurriedly moved a few steps away from the crazy woman.

From the south, a blaze lit up for a brief moment before vanishing. The practitioners of Solmere arrived.

Their auras were overwhelming, their fire special. Soleine nodded from above when she saw this, she signalled them to stand down quietly.

Along the same route as the Draconic Beasts, the Titans arrived as well. Although they were far less pompous than the Dragons, the sheer coldness they were emitting was enough to eclipse the rest of them.

"They have grown a lot stronger, it seems." 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

Aldric muttered, earning a grim look from Alzerath. After all, the rivalry between the Dragons and Titans was well known.

They were polar opposites...in everything. But due to the Titans’ superior physiques and ancient inheritance being preserved, they were a step above the Dragons in strength.

Their Ice Affinity and Gravitational Affinity were no joke. It was just because of the presence of Vraelyn Storm that their leader, Akar’Vor Zhar, had held himself back, or there might as well have been war between these two.

Akar exhaled when he saw this, with a snap. The Titans’ bodies shifted in an instant, and they disappeared from their current position and arrived behind Akar.

No, it wasn’t spatial magic; it was an extremely advanced form of a Gravitational Ability.

And finally from the west, the Valdenmere Humans arrived. Unlike the rest of the races, they were in a tight formation, and the moment they arrived, every present leader’s expression changed.

"...This."

Even Zeratheil was stunned, no, not because of the humans, of course. Because they were less than the word ’worthless’ in his eyes.

It was the one leading them; it was a young woman.

Flowing purple hair, deep ocean-blue eyes, and an incredibly arrogant posture.

But yes, that was, of course, not enough to impress leaders such as them. It was the aura emitted by the woman.

"...Aldric, what more are you hiding from us?"

Soleine couldn’t help but comment. Hearing her words, Aldric just smiled slightly, but the proud feeling behind that smile was so blatant that Alzerath, who stood beside him, felt blinded by it.

The woman tilted her head towards the sky, where her grandfather was floating silently. She bowed her head in respect, followed by the rest of the humans.

"Come here, my child, stand behind me."

Zeratheil, for the first time in decades, had a frown on his face.

"How could this be possible? This girl... she has Kaeleen’s Spirit Root..."
