A few weeks’ worth of time back, just a minute or two before the Black twisting space behind Dresh could swallow her.

Emperal’s eyes widened when he saw this scene. His arm unconsciously spread across Dresh’s delicate body protectively.

"Dresh...this?"

A small, sad smile spread across Dresh’s face as she gazed at him tenderly. Her palm made way to his cheeks as she looked at his eyes.

"My Love, it is the EverHeart realm. I-It cannot tolerate my presence." She spoke, her voice shaky.

Emperal’s fresh blood was still flowing on her face, painting half of her pale, milky white skin in crimson.

But she didn’t mind in the slightest. In her eyes, only Emperal was there. Nothing more, nothing less.

Emperal sighed when he heard that, his heart skipped a beat. Of course, he wasn’t self-blaming, not in the slightest.

Dresh smiled when she saw the struggle in his expression. Her hand slid down and pressed hard against the wound from where he had ripped his scale.

For a second, nothing happened. In the next instant, golden mist circulated around the wound, making an unreadable pattern.

"My Love, to reach the EverHeart tree. You will definitely need these things."

I looked at him one last time before I felt the overwhelming force of the EverHeart’s core pulling me, or rather, throwing me out.

I could do nothing but let my tears flow uncontrollably; they were warm and fresh. This is probably the first time I have cried this much in a few centuries.

My thoughts forcibly halted as my eyes darkened. My body was thrown into an unknown space.

The space twisted violently as a sword ripped through it. If Emperal were present here, he would have been definitely surprised if he saw the sword.

It was a milky white blade with a pitch-black hilt. A stark contrast to the sword in the possession of Emperal.

With a smirk on her face, she raised the sword high in the air.

"Heh, still not coming out, huh? Let’s see, how long are you gonna hide there?"

The space wailed in agony as the sword passed through it. The entire Solmere was covered in a dark shadow.

From inside the castle, a pair of intense golden eyes snapped open. Her eyes shifted. In an instant, her body vanished, reappearing below the huge shadow.

Soleine’s smile widened, like the most elegant courtesan, and her hands moved. The temperature spiked instantly as dark green flames burst from her palms... for a second, the fire spread in every direction like a raging sea. But in the next instant, they were sucked back into a small green spark.

Without hesitation, she waved her hand, sending the small spark flying towards the incoming attack.

It went straight to the incoming shadow. The shadow was nothing but a slash. It was Dresh’s slash.

The shadow-like slash collided with Soleine’s Green spark.

A massive shock wave tore through the air with a sound that screamed the cracking of the sky. Both forces collided for dominance for a single breathless second before detonating inwardly, sending waves and waves of power rolling through the entire Solmere. They even stretched to half of Draventhar.

From the smoke, Soleine emerged. Her body was as pristine as always. In front of her, Dresh’s figure materialized.

Her expression was all smiling. Soleine’s golden irises shone when she saw this.

"You... aren’t you that woman who was flirting with Emperal?"

Soleine spoke; her platinum silver hair waved when hit by the air.

"Hehe~ It is indeed me. I have flirted and done many, many~ things with him."

Dresh spoke back. There wasn’t a single ounce of fear or hesitation in them.

Yes, the woman was provoking a Tyrannosaurus.

Soleine’s expression darkened when she heard this. The air shook as she once again vanished. Seeing this, a black wave of energy was released directly from her eyes, rendering the space around her.

Like a shattered glass, Soleine’s surprised figure was visible.

"Hehe~ Are you angry, little bird?" Dresh’s sweet voice echoed from everywhere at once. Her form suddenly scattered in a burst of mist.

Soleine’s sharp claws passed through empty air. Dresh reappeared a few meters behind Soleine. Her expression was still smiling.

Soleine’s eyes flickered when she saw this, but this time she didn’t move.

"Let me tell you a secret," Dresh smirked, her smile widening into an evil smirk. Raising her hand, she pointed down.

"I had it with him... I gave him my virginity. Haha~"

Dresh laughed out loud, but suddenly... her head snapped toward the world-ending phoenix. A bead of sweat dripped down her chin as she saw the... scene in front of her.

"Ah... aha, it seems I provoked her more than necessary."
