Chapter 396: Mission to Steal the Crystal (2) Part II
“There we go. Valentine’s unit’s out. Now, one of our obstruction’s gone.”
The whispering came from a two-story house, or the magic warrior office located near to the camp. Manoch was now looking through a scope camera on the balcony and saw that Valentine’s force started marching out to Albasta. Then he curled up a smile.
“If those guys were here, our plan would totally fail.”
Another voice rang up happily. The owner of the voice could not be anyone else but Mek, the chief of the red label item production unit of the Nemesis guild.
“Sure thing. Our plan would never work if Valentine was still here. Also, the Bunny Burners are very tough. They’re not going to fall into our trap.”
“You’re right, Ae.”
“Anyway, how are the NPCs I requested doing now?” Manoch put the scope down, before turning to look at the man beside him.
“They’re perfect, my friend. Smith, Barny, Christina, and Rosy. They’ve been ready to act!”
After speaking, he gave a thumbs-up as a sign of readiness for full combat mode.
Manoch nodded, before paying attention to spying on the scope again. But this time, he stared at some sneaky guy with purple hair and his stupid sunglasses who was walking the circle of his men.
“What about that guy?” Manoch asked. “He’s probably our second obstruction from Valentine. How do we keep him out?”
Hearing that, Mek gave him a soft smile right away.
“Don’t worry about this, I’ve asked a specialist to deal with him for us already. I guarantee that stupid William will stay out of our plan.”
“Nice.”
Manoch replied with a smiley face, then spotted a tent that was set at the furthest. There were two guards by the entrance, and they were not NPCs either.
“How’s the area where our target is kept?”
“Not so good. There’re NPCs around and the other two players at the front probably belong to William.”
“Well, those guys are the problem then. The NPCs will leave us alone because they will think we’re allies, but those two players will not. What do we do to distract them away?”
Manoch was quiet like he was trying to think.
From the situation, the tent guards were probably men, and their faces looked a bit like those perverts as well. And seeing that, he grinned.
“I think I have a plan. Let’s just hope they’re not gay though.”
Hearing Manoch’s words, Mek grinned widely, too. Maybe that was because his thoughts and this glasses man’s were totally alike.
After that, the two from the items production units exchanged a cunning smile.
“Alright then, let’s wait until it’s dark, and we proceed to our crystal stealing mission right away.”
“Well, I’ll call plan ‘Booze and Baby Girl’ then.”

Just a moment passed, and the sky turned completely dark like someone painted it with ink. Many stars were sparkling there as a tall man was sleeping on his expensive bed. His favorite sunglasses were taken off his face. His long purple hair was let down to the middle of his back. He was in plain light blue pajamas right now.
William’s breathing was steady, a sign that he was in a deep sleep, and it was an early sleep as well. Maybe that was because he had to join the battle tomorrow, so he got himself prepared this well.
Also, this evening, he already reiterated his guild to check the weapons and items that would be used in the battle tomorrow and go to sleep early at 9 p.m., too.
Apart from recharging their energy,
Sleeping would prevent them from getting nervous about a real battle tomorrow as well.
It should have been the plan...
If there was no loud cheering coming up with music like this.

“Sh*t!”
The owner of the purple hair jumped out of his bed. He looked around confusedly before he realized that the joyful music was coming from outside, followed by loud cheering and chattering. Then he knew right away that it was totally a party!
“Hey, hey, didn’t I tell you guys to go to sleep early?”
William shouted, hurriedly got out of bed, before grabbing a dull-colored robe to put on quickly. The tall man walked out of his tent in annoyance, while his hands were tying his hair up in a ponytail as usual.
Then he pushed his tent door open.
And what he saw made his eyes widen.
“Cheer!!”
“Tell us if anyone wants more beer. Don’t worry. This beer has very little alcohol, even a kid can drink it.”
“Here’re German pork knuckle, a large set of sausages, uh, here’s Thai chicken feet spicy salad, too. Lala, could you please take them to that table?”
“Sure thing, Christina!”
“Hey, Brother Barny, is there any spicy menu recommended?”
“Oh, oh, yes, hold on, I’ll make you a special one right now.”
“WEEEEE! That’s hot, baby Rosy. Can you move your hip harder?”
“Sure, but that’s not for free.”
“Come on, I’ll give you anything I have, baby.”
Those shouts and yells were nothing compared to when he saw his people, who were supposed to be in their beds right now, sitting at wooden tables, having a campfire with three chefs cooking special dishes for them! Moreover, there were those alcoholic beverages to make this an absolute drunken party!
And those were not even the worst yet. There was a dancer moving her hips to music at another corner. And that corner seemed to have the biggest crowd of his people with more than 50 players there. Maybe that was because the dancer was dressed in very little clothes.
Just the way she walked was so seductive that it got many of his guild members drooling.
Seeing all that, William made a noise out of his throat.
“Hey, what the hell is this? Stop it, now. Who allows you to have this stupid party?”
He bawled, walking into the party zone instantly. However, the music and those cheering noises were drowning out William’s voice. Also, everyone’s mood was not in the place to care about anything else right now.
In other words, they were wasted.
“Oh! Boss, you’re still up?!”
“Hey, that’s totally him. Boss, since you’re already here, come have a drink with us.”
The ones who were drinking shoulder to shoulder shouted happily after they spotted William. One of them jumped at him to pull him into a hug harshly, and that guy was reeking of alcohol.
“Who said you can have a party, huh? We’re going to battle tomorrow.”
William shouted, shaking the drunk guy off him.
“Battle?”
The two turned to look at each other, before bursting out laughing!
“Let our future selves deal with that, Boss. Life is short. If there is a chance to have fun, then we take it, riiiiight? Also, these are free drinks, free food, and free entertainers. One will be stupid if they don’t take it.”
“Free?”
William raised his eyebrows, before looking around the area. Then he realized that the amount of food and drinks at this party was not small at all.
“Who told you to start a party like this?”
