Chapter 112: Instinct Awakening Part V
“5 verses per second?!” Her explanation made the one who was watching from afar slip out and exclaim. He glanced at the tiny figure who was now clenching her jaws tight, while her hands were controlling her magic to attack the enemy continuously. Her young face started to drip some sweat.
So, this was why she did not want him to join her.
Until now, the damage points had not stopped popping up. The damage from the latest waves got even stronger as time passed by, from hundreds of points to thousands now.
“Don’t tell me that she can increase the damage while the skill’s being activated, too? Is her brain made of a computer, or what?” Wisana could only gasp, not believing his eyes. Because as far as he knew, the stronger a magic skill was, the longer a spell needed to be cast. And looking at the situation right now, Angela was climbing the level from a simple skill to the one with more violent damage, like shifting a car’s gear to speed it up. However, the beams of light did not seem to stop shooting at all.
So, the king of Lycan did not have any other choice, except for standing there and tolerating the attack.
This was crazy... they kept attacking it until now, the damage they caused should have been more than five hundred thousand already...
“Damnit. ...How is it still not dead?!” A minute later, Angela slipped a curse out with rage. And that was the first time he saw the girl who was emotionless getting this nervous. And her face did not look good either.
He could tell by just looking at her that she was close to reaching her limit now!
“I... I can’t anymore.” And then, she had reached the limit. The little mage had used up all her strength and fell to the ground, leaving the scepter floating in the air like that as a sign that her magic had not yet gone. But it was the exhaustion of overusing her brain that made her too weak to stand!
“Angie!” Wisana tried to get up as he was concerned about Angela. And when the attack on it had stopped, the werewolf boss was panting, before getting even more furious when it looked at the wounds that the little mage caused on it.

It let out a growl again, before rushing up to the target when it got a chance to get back at her.
Wisana got worried, so he ran off to help her without listening to Angela protesting at all.
Because in a situation like this, who would have just stood and watched a little kid get killed right before their eyes?!
However, at that second, there was something big and about three meters tall running past him quickly, before Wisana could see that it was a creature looking like a man who was made of many sizes of stones.
He had seen this kind of thing before, a golem!!

The golem that just came out of nowhere ran into the Lycan, bumping it away. Then it held Angela up, making the man feel relieved so much when he thought this was one of Waree’s skills surely.
“Attack king of Lycan now, Static golem. Keep it occupied.” The summoner of the golem commanded slightly, the bluestone she got still shining in her hand. She used the stone as a medium to summon the demon to help in the fight. It took quite some time, but she could summon it out just in time before Angela got attacked.
“Sorry, I’m late, Angie. And sorry that I could summon just a golem.” Waree shouted to her friend.
“It’s fine.” The girl said in reply. “Take care of yourself first. I’ll try my best to buy you some time.”
“Thank you.”
The girls turned to nod at each other knowingly. Both of them were too focused on attacking the enemy here that it looked like they had forgotten that Wisana was there, too. Even though the man understood well that the opponent this time was too tough, he could not help but feel pity for himself anyway.
“Damnit!” Wisana cursed out of temper. The pair of amber eyes that looked at the battlefield was flashing with different sparks.
These girls were strong, too strong. They were so strong that he could not join them in the fight at all.
The hotheaded manner of the man finally caught the attention of Waree, who was lying next to him. She looked at the back of the man and her face got saddened. She knew how her brother was feeling right now, Wisana needed to admit the fact that he still lacked experience. Even though he was talented, his inexperience would always create a gap between him and the enemy like this!
“Lightning War Tech!” Angela flicked her hand to call a thunderbolt down on the werewolf with full strength. Then the golem went in to support by hitting its big fist on the king of Lycan, making it bounce backward.
During the time that the infinity spell was active, she would be able to move freely without holding the scepter. Because that stick would be floating ahead of her all the time during the skill period. So, right now, the tiny figure jumped up to stand on the golem’s shoulder, while she was gazing around for the werewolf boss fast.
“My last combo is going to kill you!” She announced strongly, before pointing the transparent crystal at the enemy again.
Angela was thinking about using the magic shot combo again, and that would be the last skill she could cast. Because her magic point was lower than 20% now.
As fast as her thoughts, light beams in various colors were shooting out of the top part of the scepter rapidly. And their target was the monster that was lying on the ground.
It would be hard for it to respond when she attacked it from a higher place like this.

“What? It could dodge that?!” The little mage almost got stunned with shock when many of her magic shots just unbelievably missed. It could be because the werewolf boss started getting used to the speed and nature of magical attacks now. So, it could leap away in another direction in time.
The pink lips pressed together tightly in disapproval. The girl hastily turned the crystal scepter’s tip towards the monster, blasting spells at it relentlessly. But unfortunately, every spell missed the target.
As if it knew that... Angela was at her limit a while ago!
Just a moment later, she started panting with exhaustion. Because apart from keeping her focus on casting the spell, the girl had to move the scepter pointing to the target, too. But no matter how hard she tried, the king of Lycan shifted its body away from the attack every time.
In the blink of an eye, it leaped to the line of tall trees to use one of them as a base to kick itself and dash to Angela, who was standing on the golem’s shoulder. Its large hand drew a fist up, before punching right down at her with a loud crashing sound...

“Angie!” Wisana and Waree yelled her name in unison. The golem’s right arm was now destroyed into pieces as the tiny figure of Angela lost her balance and fell. The ruby eyes looked at the ground she was going to bump into before her lips pressed tight together.
“Gravitia! (A weightlessness skill)” After the word, Angela managed to not crush her tiny figure into the ground. She successfully sat down exhaustedly with her shoulders moving when she was panting for air.
She had never been this exhausted, nor had to hold the Infinity Spell this long.
What was this monster?! The king of Lycan had never been this difficult, hadn’t it?!
She was frustrated. And when she looked up again, Angela froze with the image she saw. The girl grabbed her scepter, pointed it at the werewolf that she did not realize when it approached her this close. But the one thing she was sure of; this monster was not afraid of the weapon in front of it at all.
And that was the moment an unexpected event occurred.
“So, this is the limit of a medium-ranked scepter, huh?”

Suddenly, the scepter in her hand blasted into pieces, like it could not tolerate any magic getting through it anymore. A slight smile appeared on her young face as she got ready for her fate.
