Chapter 343: Chapter 341: His Dream? (Part 1)

Celeste Grant saw them moving with incredible agility, their figures darting all over the plaza. Some could shatter massive boulders with a single punch. Others were playing with fire in their hands or manipulating streams of water.

Seeing this, Celeste Grant was very satisfied.

The progress they had made was quite remarkable. She eagerly anticipated a future where the entire nation would practice Cultivation after the Spiritual Energy Revival.

When Celeste Grant finished her instructional session for the day and was about to leave, the trainees all saluted her in unison.

"Thank you, Expert Grant, for guiding our Cultivation."

"Salute!"

Celeste Grant said calmly, "When you get back, you can practice seated meditation tonight, even without Spirit Stones. Cultivating through meditation like this will also enhance your Divine Sense."

Everyone nodded in agreement. "Yes, Expert Grant."

Finally, someone looked at her curiously and asked.

"Expert Grant, what’s your Cultivation realm? Why can’t we ever sense it?"

"Yeah, what realm are you really? I can’t even touch the hem of your clothes."

Someone spoke up, "You guys don’t know? I do... I heard that Expert Grant is a Void Refinement Realm Cultivator. That’s the realm where you can fly through the heavens and burrow through the earth, move mountains and fill seas."

Celeste Grant gave a faint smile.

"That’s more or less right."

As she spoke, her gaze swept over them and she explained, "I can conceal my Cultivation at will, so I usually look like an ordinary person. No one can detect my realm unless their Cultivation is higher than mine."

"Oh, so that’s how it is."

"What kind of power does a Void Refinement Realm Cultivator have? How strong are they?"

"Expert Grant, could you give us a demonstration?"

Their eyes lit up as they all looked at her expectantly.

Clearly, they were desperate to know what the power of the Void Refinement Realm was really like. They had only ever encountered it in TV shows and novels—pure fiction. What was it like in reality?

Seeing their curiosity, Celeste Grant shook her head slightly.

"I’d rather not."

’I don’t want people to think I’m dangerous. Besides, I’m afraid I might not be able to control my power and end up turning this place into a ruin.’

Just then, the military chief, looking hale and much more vigorous lately, walked over to her.

He must have sensed her hesitation, because he smiled and said, "You don’t need to worry. This is a perfect chance for me to see something spectacular. Don’t worry about damaging the place. Go on, let loose. The government will cover any damages."

Celeste Grant smiled.

"With your reassurance, Chief, I can relax." She raised her gaze, her eyes sweeping over everyone present.

She extended a hand, gathering her Cultivation’s power within it.

Then, with just a casual wave of her hand.

The next moment, an immense force swept out from the wave of her hand. In an instant, the distant mountain, as far as they could see, was cleaved in two. A massive chasm now ran straight through the middle of the mountain. Closer to them, the chasm began right at the base’s thick outer wall.

Seeing this, everyone present was completely petrified. ’Can a person really wield such power? Is this what an Immortal Cultivation Power from the Void Refinement Realm is like? It’s utterly terrifying.’

’And an Immortal Cultivation Power of this caliber has such a good temperament, too.’

At that moment, they were all profoundly grateful that Celeste Grant was on their side. Otherwise, the thought of her wielding such power against them was a terrifying prospect.

Shock was written all over their faces.

"Wow... amazing."

"HISS... So strong."

"Utterly terrifying."

Celeste Grant lowered her hand.

"I lost a bit of control over the force."

This was an Immortal Cultivation Power—capable of causing such destruction with a single, gentle wave. The people there grew excited at the thought that, with enough Cultivation, they might one day be able to do the same.

"It’s getting late, so I’ll be heading home now." She added one last instruction. "Keep up with your Cultivation. For now, just stick to the methods I’ve already taught you. If you need anything, call me. I’m off."

As she finished speaking, she casually tore a rift in space and stepped through it. In the blink of an eye, her figure vanished. The rift sealed itself, returning to normal as if what they had just witnessed had been a mere illusion.

Countless pairs of eyes stared at the spot where Celeste Grant had disappeared, almost boring a hole through the air.

"I’m so envious."

"When will I be able to travel through space like Expert Grant?"

"Maybe in your dreams. She’s a Void Refinement Realm Cultivator. A level of Cultivation like that might be impossible to reach, even at the peak of the coming Spiritual Energy Revival."

It was true. In the future, even reaching the Foundation Establishment Stage or the Core Formation Stage would make someone a powerhouse.

Regardless of their envy, Celeste Grant was already home.

No one was home today. She had given Leo time off to find a place to focus on his own Cultivation.

Celeste Grant walked to the refrigerator and opened it.

It was fully stocked.

Fruits and vegetables.

A little of everything.

Everything was fresh, having been recently restocked.

It was still early.

And she had nothing to do.

She glanced inside, pulled out a steak, and went to the kitchen to cook it.

Celeste Grant liked her steak well-done. She couldn’t stomach the idea of eating it rare, medium-rare, or even medium.

Once the steak was cooked, she seasoned it with chili flakes, carried the plate to the living room, sat down, and began to eat.

The house was huge.

And very quiet.

But Celeste Grant found she wasn’t used to it anymore.

’This is my home.’

’But it feels so unfamiliar.’

’A home is where your family is!’

She missed her son, she missed Javier Sinclair, and she missed her parents from the Cultivation World.

Thinking of Mr. and Mrs. Grant, a smile touched Celeste Grant’s lips.

’I’m actually very happy that their real daughter was able to return to them. There’s nothing better than a family being reunited.’

Then her thoughts turned back to Javier Sinclair.

And suddenly, the steak lost its appeal.

The days passed, one by one.

「One month later.」

The nation’s first batch of Cultivators had emerged. All of them had entered the Qi Refinement Realm, officially crossing the threshold into Cultivation.

It was no wonder they said the best and brightest were all given to the state; there was real truth to it. With the help of Spirit Stones, this first batch of trainees had all entered the Qi Refinement Realm in just one short month.

Such a cultivation speed was incredibly fast. Even among the sects in the Cultivation World, this level of Cultivation Talent would be considered extremely high.

After returning to the modern world, Celeste Grant’s life had been very quiet.

Javier Sinclair still hadn’t appeared.

Celeste Grant was deeply worried.

The memory of his form dissipating before her very eyes made her breath catch in her throat.

’She couldn’t help but wonder... what if he wasn’t The Demon God at all? What if he only said that to make her believe he was still alive?’

"No... that can’t be it. He is The Demon God, immortal and indestructible. I’m just scaring myself."

Thinking of this, she muttered under her breath.

"Javier Sinclair... if you dared to lie to me, you’re dead."

That night.

After Celeste Grant fell asleep, her Primordial Spirit found itself before a strange barrier. She didn’t know where she was. A thick mist swirled around her. Suddenly, a hand grabbed her wrist, and in the next instant, her Primordial Spirit was pulled into someone else’s dream.

She had no idea where she was, but everything around her was a festive, celebratory red.
