Chapter 219: Chapter 219

Kyra’s POV

Standing in my white wedding gown with the ocean breeze touching my skin, I held the bouquet of wildflowers tight against my chest. The veil moved softly around my face as I took careful steps along the red carpet that stretched across the beach sand.

This was our day. The day Nathan and I would officially join ourselves before our packs and the Moon Goddess.

My heart raced with both joy and nervous excitement as my cousins Matt and Mason walked beside me. Both looked incredibly handsome in their black suits, strong and protective. Having them here made this feel real instead of like a beautiful dream.

Ahead stood my beautiful daughter Snow, sprinkling rose petals along the path, her sweet smile lighting up the beach.

Beside her waited Nathan, my chosen mate, my husband, my Alpha.

Even from here, I could see him wiping away tears that rolled down his cheeks. The sight made my own eyes water.

"I think he might actually pass out," Matt whispered close to my ear, and I pinched his side. Mason chuckled but stayed quiet as we kept walking.

I bit my lower lip, fighting the urge to run and reach Nathan faster.

His minty scent grew stronger with each step, calling to me, to Sylvia, to every part of me that knew he was ours.

"He looks so handsome," Sylvia purred inside me. "Our Alpha."

When I finally reached Nathan, he immediately took my hand in his. His grip was firm but gentle.

Matt frowned slightly, but I simply smiled and pulled my mate closer.

"We are gathered here today to witness the union of these two wolves, whose paths the Moon Goddess has brought together..." the Elder began, his voice carrying across the beach as members of both the Nightfall and neighboring packs watched with respect.

Unlike our previous small, private ceremony, this wedding was a grand event. Alpha pairs and Beta pairs from allied packs filled the rows of seats. Their presence showed Nathan’s influence and respect among our kind. I felt proud knowing I stood beside such a respected Alpha, and that despite everything we’d been through, we had found our way back to each other.

Nathan squeezed my hand gently as the ceremony continued, his cedar scent mixing with the salt air. When the Elder finally announced that Nathan could kiss his Luna, my mate wrapped his arms around my waist and claimed my lips with a passionate kiss that made Sylvia howl with delight inside me.

I responded with equal passion, my arms wrapping around his neck as our pack members cheered and whistled around us.

"MOMMY! DADDY!" Snow’s excited squeal broke through our moment as she ran toward us, flower petals trailing behind her. Nathan lifted her into his arms, and she threw the remaining petals into the air with happy abandon, giggling when they rained down on us.

"I love you two!" she declared, her innocent face beaming with joy.

I leaned in to kiss her cheek. "I love you too, sweetheart."

Our family and friends gathered around us for photos, and my heart swelled as I looked at the faces of those who had come to celebrate with us. Matt and Mason stood tall beside me, representing my mother’s side of the family. Having them here filled a void I hadn’t realized existed until now. The sense of having blood relatives who truly cared.

I couldn’t help but think about those who weren’t present to witness our joy. My parents, gone too soon. Kieran, my complicated step-brother whose memory still brought mixed emotions. I liked to believe they were watching from wherever the Moon Goddess kept the spirits of our departed, and that they wished for my happiness despite everything that had happened.

After the ceremony, the reception began in full swing. Though we had limited the guest list to close friends and family members, the happiness and energy filled the venue completely. Games and laughter dominated the evening, with Nathan never leaving my side. His hand stayed either holding mine or placed around my waist. A silent reminder to everyone that I was his Luna, his chosen mate.

Snow played happily with her aunts and uncles, even Sara joining in the fun. The celebration was everything I could have hoped for and more. A proper wedding for an Alpha and his Luna.

As the party wound down, Nathan and I went to our honeymoon suite, a beautifully decorated room designed for newlyweds. I couldn’t help but admire the beautiful setup. Red rose petals arranged in the shape of a heart covered the center of the bed, their sweet smell filling the air.

After my bath, I slipped into a silk robe, combing my damp hair as I sat before the mirror. My hand automatically traveled to my stomach, gently touching the small bump that had begun to form there. I smiled, knowing I carried Nathan’s second child inside me. A wave of contentment washed over me as I thought about our journey.

Nathan had been my best friend before becoming my mate. We had fallen apart, lived through the pain of separation, and now stood together stronger than before. Fate had tested us harshly, but I was grateful that neither of us had given up. We had fought for our love against impossible odds, and here we were. Together, united, a family.

"We survived because we’re meant to be," Sylvia murmured inside me. "The Moon Goddess always planned this."
