One of the traits of Frenzy is that actions from the current month tend to accumulate in intensity.
For example, during Frenzy A, using blood amplifies the intensity of the Frenzy.
Of course, using a little—like during the Dantalion incident—causes no issues. But excessive use can trigger blood surges in multiple areas, sometimes spreading the tattoos on my body, leading to a mini-Frenzy. Lately, I’d been limiting my abilities, mainly because of the Otherworlders, but it wasn't just for show.
Even though I could manage with holy water, the side effects were undeniable.
The same goes for Frenzy B, though it’s somewhat different—it responds to the emotions I felt that month.
For instance, if anger was the dominant emotion, I’d experience intense rage during the Frenzy. If I’d felt loneliness, then I’d be flooded with loneliness. Anxiety? Then Frenzy B would make me feel profoundly anxious. It wasn't always the case, but the tendency was strong.
This month had been rather eventful. I’d moved back from the pit to the cave, a bounty was placed on my head, I’d briefly taken in a “feisty pet” named Happy, and, of course, there had been that little incident earlier today.
It had been a relatively peaceful yet chaotic month, and Frenzy B could latch onto this emotional rollercoaster with eerie precision.
"Surrender your body to me..."
As the Frenzy Moon rose, my emotions started swinging wildly.
Thump-thump!
My heart pounded fiercely, my body heating up. Lustful thoughts surged, and I felt the blood pooling below.
Once again, the theme of this Frenzy was lust.
To be fair, it made sense, considering the number of stimulating things I’d seen recently.
Keeping Happy around had been a significant factor. After all, she was a striking beauty. With her bound in my home for five days, I’d been constantly exposed to visual temptation. And I hadn’t relieved myself once, so it was only natural that my theme for the Frenzy would settle on lust.
“Huff... Huff...”
I forced myself to stay still, refusing to undress.
Managing my stamina was crucial, and honestly, the thought of going multiple rounds without anything to focus on left me feeling pitiful. Though I knew what the future held, I planned to resist for as long as I could.
Meanwhile, the demon's voice continued.
"How long do you plan to stay hidden here? You’re well past your prime. It’s about time you went out and met someone."
The tone reminded me of a nagging mother.
"Well, I’d love to, if not for someone keeping me here."
I grumbled, and he continued.
"Let me take over. Surrender your body to me, and I’ll fulfill your desires."
The usual temptation, promising to fulfill my desires. For a moment, it stirred something within me. But I already knew my answer.
“...No.”
The consequences were all too obvious if I gave in to him.
Time dragged on, and the temptation grew increasingly hard to bear.
As the heat coursed through me, I found myself removing my shirt, feeling feverish and slightly dazed.
With no other distractions in the cave, my imagination drifted in familiar directions. I could only draw upon what I’d actually seen in reality.
Yoo Chae-rin, Im Ha-neul... a few memories from past videos. Then back to Yoo Chae-rin and Im Ha-neul...
A guilty pang hit me for using people I knew in my fantasies, but enduring Frenzy B demanded it. A strange thrill of shame even added to the intensity.
As much as I hated to admit it, the demon had a point. I was long past my youth. In this world, people often married the moment they became adults, yet here I was, still clinging to my so-called “virtue.” Something must be wrong.
But I felt my frustration growing. Was it my fault?

This was all because of demonic blood that kept me from fitting in with others.
‘Just wait...’
If the opportunity came, I’d gladly make the most of it.
...Though maybe my logic was slipping under the influence of Frenzy.
As I grappled with these conflicting urges—
“Um... Yor? Are you in there?”
A familiar voice echoed from the entrance, and a figure entered the cave.
It was Yoo Chae-rin.
The first thing she noticed upon entering was the stifling heat and an odd, sticky atmosphere, something unexplainable lingering in the air. Though everything looked normal, there was a strange tension she couldn’t shake off.
Puzzled, she continued inside. She’d come all this way and couldn’t simply turn back. Plus, she worried about him enduring the Frenzy alone.
Before long, she caught sight of me.
Sensing her approach, I moved toward her. But as she drew closer, her face registered shock.
‘W-What?’
Unlike usual, I was shirtless.
The sight of my defined abs hit her squarely. She noticed my labored breaths, and my eyes, unfocused, held a haze. It was clear that I wasn’t in a normal state.
But thankfully, I wasn’t covered in blood as she’d feared.
‘So, this must be a mental Frenzy...’
I didn’t seem to be in physical pain, which was a relief, but I did look a bit tense.
All Chae-rin knew about Frenzy B was that it typically involved anger.
She had no idea it could amplify other emotions—especially lust—since I’d never bothered to explain that part to her.
So, oblivious to my current state, she froze as I spoke in a voice deeper than usual.
“...Why are you here?”
“Oh, well...”
“I thought I told you not to come.”
“I’m sorry. I was worried, so I came to check on you.”
Her voice was laced with anxiety. Perhaps it was the tense atmosphere, or maybe she mistook my demeanor as anger. Either way, she felt on edge, like prey before a predator.
Meanwhile, my focus shifted elsewhere.
Her physique was undeniably eye-catching. Normally, I noticed these things in passing, but in the throes of Frenzy, she drew my attention with remarkable intensity.
With summer approaching, her outfit was notably lighter—a cropped shirt exposing her navel, leather shorts, and a few pieces of leather armor. As a thief, she prioritized mobility, which meant her clothing accentuated her curves.
“A-And...”
As I wrestled with my desires, she spoke again.
Time hadn’t stopped, even as I silently observed her.
Unable to bear the silence, she broke it.
“I also wanted to apologize again for what happened earlier today.”
“...”
“I know you said it was fine, but... it didn’t feel right to just leave it like that...”
I looked at her quietly.
On any other day, I might’ve brushed it off. I’d already accepted her apology; I wasn’t the type to dwell on such things.
But under Frenzy’s influence, my response came out differently.
“You’re right. It’s not something I can just overlook.”
I continued, my words surprising even myself.
“If you’ve seen someone else naked, shouldn’t you show yourself in return?”
“W-What?”
“Take it off.”
She froze, stunned. She’d expected a scolding, but not... this.
Had she misheard him? Or was this some sort of joke?
But Yor’s gaze was dead serious.
His breathing was still heavy, his eyes hazy and unreadable.
“What are you waiting for? Go on.”
Intimidated by the pressure, Chae-rin found herself obeying.
‘I guess... he must be really mad because of Frenzy.’
As she slowly complied, her leather armor and shoes came off, one piece at a time.
Finally, she was left in her cropped top and shorts. She hesitated.
Taking off her armor was one thing, but anything beyond that would expose her undergarments. No matter how tough she was, showing her underwear to someone else was embarrassing.
Her cheeks flushed as she looked at him, silently questioning if he truly wanted her to go that far.
But there was no hesitation in Yor’s gaze. In fact, his restraint was nearing its limit.
He’d held out as long as he could. Any further hesitation felt absurd.
After all, she was the one who’d come uninvited in the dead of night.
“What, can’t do it alone? Then let me help.”
Without waiting, he stepped forward and tugged her shirt off in one swift motion.
“Ah!”
With a startled cry, her ample chest came into view, barely contained by a lacy bra. The visual stimulation pushed his desire further.
The sudden touch left Chae-rin in shock. She quickly realized that something was very wrong.
‘Wait... could it be that Frenzy affects more than just anger?’
Thinking back, his breathing did seem... different, almost like someone aroused.
Though he’d shed his shirt too, she hadn’t thought much of it until now.
Then, a small system window appeared before her.
[Would you like to unlock 19+ mode?]
[YES/NO]
The system seemed to pick up on the mood and automatically brought up the prompt.
Seeing her glance at the screen, Yor asked, feigning ignorance.
“Is something popping up?”
“Oh, um... yes, it’s...”
He cut her off.
“Turn it on. Right now.”
At his command, her heart began to pound.
