"Latias?!" Brock looked again, confused, "But Ash, that’s clearly a human!"

Misty ran onto the bridge enthusiastically and asked, "Latias, were you waiting here specifically for us?"

Latias nodded and then signaled for Ash and the others to follow it.

After a lot of twists and turns, Latias led Ash and the others into a dead end.

"There’s no way through?" Misty asked, puzzled.

Ash shook his head and said, "No, this is just an illusion; there is a hidden path ahead."

Latias simply walked straight into a wall.

Pikachu and Eevee curiously followed.

"Let’s go too," Ash said to the two who were still in shock.

Passing through the dark passage, Ash’s group arrived in a spacious garden.

Looking at the scene in the garden, Misty exclaimed sincerely, "Wow, it’s so big and beautiful here!"

"Over here~"

Using telepathy, Latias led Ash and the others to a swing set.

Suddenly, a sonic boom came from the direction of the fountain.

Pikachu and Eevee showed alert expressions.

"What’s wrong?" Misty cast a questioning look.

Ash explained, "Latios is back."

The next second, a splash erupted from a pool of water next to them.

After circling halfway, Latios turned and charged at Ash and the others.

"Pikachu"

"Eevee!"

Pikachu fired a Thunderbolt at Latios, while Eevee launched Swift.

Facing these two attacks, Latios easily dodged by swaying left and right. It flew between Pikachu and Eevee, intending to use its wing-like sides to Tackle them.

But clearly, it had thought too much; Pikachu turned into a flash of electricity and flew up, while Eevee dodged the Tackle by using Dig.

Latios was unconvinced and turned around to attack Ash and the others again.

This time, it wasn’t Ash’s Pokemon that blocked it, but Latias.

Latias got off the swing, quickly stepped in front of Ash and the others, and reached out to shield them.

Seeing this, Latios could only temporarily abandon its probing attempt and revealed its form under Latias’s gaze.
