Chapter 1134: Chapter 369: Concert in the Old Cybernet

"Oh, I see... that’s truly a shame. Miss Cunningham specifically instructed me to use the most advanced biotechnology to restore you to your original form. Since you’ve made up your mind, we can’t force you to stay, but it’s a pity for those comrades who sacrificed to save you."

Lin Miao looked full of regret.

"Hathaway, administer the lethal injection."

"Huh?"

Hathaway hadn’t caught on to Lin Miao’s act, but seeing Lin Miao’s serious expression, she really thought he was going to kill Silver Hand.

"Wait!"

Upon hearing Outkanning’s name, Johnny hurriedly called to stop, his two exposed cyber eyes awkwardly fixed together.

"Where’s the evidence?"

Lin Miao tugged at his collar and suddenly shouted loudly to someone outside the lab.

"Huang Ban Sanlang! You’re such a jerk! A brother among brothers!"

The other three simultaneously covered their faces with their hands.

They can’t bear to look anymore, wondering how they ended up with such a boss.

Johnny now believed most of it, because if it were Huang Ban, absolutely no one would dare to say this publicly. If they were from another company, then he would have room to maneuver.

"Uh... since Outkanning asked you guys to come, then forget it, consider it something I owe her."

Damn it, acting all prideful like that.

Lin Miao decided to mess with this guy a bit, he rubbed his chin and said hesitantly.

"But before this, I think it’s necessary to inform Mr. Johnny about a tiny flaw in our transformative technology...."

"What kind of crappy flaw? Just do it! I’ve already blown up Huangban Tower, this is nothing. Bring it on!"

Johnny obviously didn’t realize the seriousness of the issue.

Hathaway looked at Lin Miao, thinking he was preparing for a full-body cyberization surgery for Johnny, but Lin Miao shook his head, indicating she didn’t need to worry about this.

Johnny is, to some extent, a very dangerous guy, and a living troublemaker. No one knows what outrageous things this guy will do once he gets a body, so Lin Miao must impose functional constraints, not leaving him unchecked.

"After the brain transformation is completed, take out the relic chip to see if we can develop something from it. As for Johnny, let’s tailor a body for him using the transformation pod."

"But with the transformation pod... won’t it...."

Hathaway seemed to remember something and hesitated.

Lin Miao signaled her to be quiet, and whispered softly.

"This is beneficial for health, after all, it’s for his own good."

Luckily, without Johnny’s installed receiver, he couldn’t hear such a small sound.

"Well then, Mr. Johnny, during the preparation period for the surgery, you can live freely within our company’s internal network, which will help eliminate any unnecessary misunderstandings between us."

Lin Miao gave Lucy a look, indicating to her to grant Johnny partial access.

There’s nothing in Horizon Corporation that’s off-limits to outsiders, at most players will discover that there’s now an additional cocky NPC in Cyberspace.

Maybe the appearance of this NPC might seem somewhat... familiar.

"Where’s Outkanning? Where is she? I want to see her."

Johnny wasn’t happy about regaining a body; his mind was filled only with thoughts of his ex-girlfriend. After all, taking on Huang Ban head-on was all for Outkanning, though admittedly it was his own reckless doing.

"Miss Cunningham didn’t leave me her contact information, but since she’s rescuing you, you’ll definitely have a chance to meet again. You’ll just have to check the old net for luck."

Snap!

Lin Miao snapped his fingers.

Johnny’s vision went black, and when his sight returned, he was already standing on a vast and endless square, surrounded by gigantic, magnificent buildings.

Libraries, nuclear plants, architectural design institutes, weapon testing grounds, Lego worlds, training bases....

After nearly a year of construction, as more and more data and AI were brought from the old net by players, the buildings in Cyber One Plaza have been continuously increasing, covering various aspects such as civil engineering, water resources, nuclear power, metallurgy, mechanical automation, planting, breeding, electronic components, neural cyberization...

Everything imaginable and unimaginable, all valuable materials collected by players from the old net have been meticulously archived in various related institutes. Personnel from the company’s research department can freely utilize all the papers and research findings internally, and use industrial software in Cyberspace for realistic design, trial runs, and prototyping of products.

Only after completing the full process in Cyberspace, ensuring safety and product yield, can production be attempted in reality. This greatly reduces expenses during the R&D phase, eliminating the issue of companies saving costs by not giving employees opportunities to show their creativity.

The computing power within the old net is almost endless, with AI assistance allowing everyone to unleash their imagination and creativity here.

However, as the largest group currently in the old net, the players are unrestrained.

They utilize AI and Lego-like programs to create whatever they desire.

From individual’s smart AI flying swords, digital monsters, Pokémon, and two-dimensional beauty figures, to AI collectively constructed ships like Hyperion, USS Missouri, Black Pearl... from classic sailboats and tower ships to space vessels, everything strange and bizarre can be seen, along with many Lego characters assembling with Lego bricks.

Anyway, there’s no need to obey physical laws or care about design rationality in Cyberspace, as long as the blueprint looks cool, it can draw in other players with their AI to provide computing power. If it weren’t for the current limits on player AI development, they’d probably build a Death Star in 1:1 scale.
