Chapter 1881: Chapter 1881: House Arrest 1

There was nothing on her except the clothes on her back.

The silver needles she used to carry with her, all kinds of medicine bottles, had all vanished without a trace.

Xia Weibao sat back down at the edge of the bed, turned her head, and looked out through the floor‑to‑ceiling window at the blue sky and white clouds outside.

A sense of loss spread.

From the fierce resistance when she first woke up, to struggling, to feeling at a loss, and finally to disappointment, to calm—she had already accepted the fact that she was being kept under house arrest.

She didn’t even know who was holding her.

Struggling was all in vain.

All she could do was wait for a chance to purge the poison in her body, and escape.

Or wait for Lu Hualiang to come and save her.

Once he found out she’d gone missing, he would definitely do everything in his power to find her!

That, she had never doubted!

After calming down, she analyzed her situation—who would abduct her and keep her confined?

The most likely ones were Nan Yi and Long Xuanye.

As for which one it was, she actually already had a faint guess in her heart.

Right before she lost consciousness, that flash of white...

As she was thinking, the door was pushed open, and Long Xuanye, dressed in a white suit, walked in.

Xia Weibao’s pupils shrank hard. It really was him!

Long Xuanye’s smile was as warm as a spring breeze; dressed all in white, he looked like a refined gentleman, still giving off a comfortable feeling.

However, at this moment, in Xia Weibao’s eyes, he was nothing but fear and disgust.

Ignoring the hostility in her gaze, Long Xuanye walked to the bedside, raised his hand, and tried to gently caress her face.

Xia Weibao’s eyes were full of revulsion, and she pulled her body back.

Her whole body was weak; even such a small movement was more than she could manage. She fell backward onto the bed and couldn’t get up no matter how she tried.

Suddenly, a phrase came to mind: "A man is the knife, I am the fish on the chopping block."

Seeing her dodge, Long Xuanye didn’t get angry. Instead, he lay down as well, turning onto his side and propping his head up with one hand.

His hand lovingly stroked her delicate skin, his eyes filled with obsession. "Junior Sister, you’ve finally come back to my side."

Xia Weibao felt a wave of nausea. Wherever he touched, it was as if countless bugs were crawling; goosebumps rose all over her.

"Don’t touch me!"

Long Xuanye was still smiling, a besotted smile. "Touch you? I’ll do more than that..."

He suddenly bent down, his lips brushing her ear as he whispered, "Junior Sister, I’ll love you very, very well."

As he spoke, his warm breath drilled into her ear, and Xia Weibao felt a chill spread through her whole body.

What did he mean by that? Could it be...

"Long Xuanye, what exactly are you trying to do!"

Long Xuanye buried his face against her neck, inhaling her scent with intoxicated greed. The words that came out of his mouth, however, plunged Xia Weibao straight into Hell.

"What I want to do, you mean you don’t know? Junior Sister, I told you, you are mine. I also warned you not to refuse a toast only to drink a forfeit. You brought this on yourself!"

By the time he said the last sentence, his gaze had turned vicious. He suddenly opened his mouth and bit down on the skin of her neck, the pressure increasing bit by bit. Sharp pain shot through her, mixed with the smell of blood.

Her neck had been broken skin by his bite.

"You Psycho!" Xia Weibao ground out between her teeth. He was a complete Psycho!

"Yeah, I’m a Psycho—driven mad by you. If you’d just obediently come with me, you wouldn’t be suffering like this now."

Her neck was bitten open, beads of blood welling out.

On her white skin, that cinnabar‑bright red looked wickedly seductive, carrying a strange kind of beauty.

Long Xuanye stared, a bit unhinged. So beautiful.

He lowered his head and gently licked and sucked at that wound.

Xia Weibao’s hands and feet went cold. She was now very sure this man was truly sick.

Mentally ill!

"Long Xuanye, you’re sick. Go see a doctor."

"I know I’m sick. I’ve been sick since two thousand years ago."
