Chapter 83: Chapter 83: Vivian Lock
Meanwhile, inside the upper deck cabin...
The room of the owner of the famous Vivian Caravan was surprisingly messy.
Maps, charts, and old logbooks were scattered across a large wooden desk and pinned haphazardly on the walls.
Stacks of books on navigation, trade routes, and ancient relics leaned precariously on shelves.
There was also a half-empty bottle of fine wine sat next to a compass and several quills.
Lantern light cast warm, flickering shadows over the organized chaos... the kind that belonged to someone who lived for both adventure and meticulous planning.
At the center of it all, seated at the desk, was the woman herself.
She had long, silky black hair with subtle purple highlights that cascaded over her shoulders.
A pair of elegant glasses rested on her nose, framing sharp, beautiful amethyst-purple eyes.
A thin, old scar ran diagonally across her left eye, giving her an air of quiet danger and hard-earned experience.
Despite the scar, her gaze glowed with sharp intelligence and authority.
Her figure was even more stunning... full, heavy breasts straining against a partially unbuttoned white shirt, cinched at the waist by a dark corset that accentuated her alluring curves.
In her right hand, she held a large white quill, gracefully writing notes on a large map spread before her.
Her expression was calm and focused, with a faint smile.
This woman is Vivian Lock, the leader of the Vivian Caravan.
But at that moment-
Knock
Knock
A soft knock sounded at the door.
"Madam," Barbara’s voice came from outside.
"It’s me. There’s something you need to see about our new passengers."
Vivian’s purple eyes flickered with interest.
She set the quill down elegantly and leaned back in her chair.
"Come in, Barbara."
Creak...
The door opened, and the old medic stepped inside, closing it firmly behind her.
The playful demeanor she had shown Jake and Grace was completely gone.
Her face was serious as she approached the desk.
"Madam, we need to talk about the two passengers we picked up... the young man named Jake and the golden-eyed girl."
Vivian raised an eyebrow, her scarred left eye moved slightly.
"Oh? The injured pair that my brother paid special attention to?"
Barbara nodded, leaning forward slightly.
"Yes, I performed a full check on the boy while treating him. Using my Appraisal... his stats are all at [Trained] level already as an Aura Warrior. And his Luck... it’s listed as [???]. I’ve never seen anything like it."
"All stats at [Trained]... at Rare Class? And Luck beyond measurable?" Vivian murmured, tapping a finger on the desk.
She knew full well how difficult it was to raise their stats.
For a Rare Class holder to max out their stats was extremely grueling and time-consuming.
Even a genius would normally only manage to max out three stats before attempting to evolve their class.
Yet this boy had already reached [Trained] across the board.
Vivian’s purple eyes gleamed with intrigue as she leaned back in her chair, the buttons of her shirt straining against her voluptuous breasts.
"...This is no coincidence," she said softly. "My brother rarely shows interest in ordinary people. It seems his strange instinct has paid off again."
Barbara gave a small, knowing chuckle. "That brother of yours has always had an eye for hidden gems. So what should we do with them?"
Vivian was silent for a moment, as she stared at the map on her desk.
She slowly traced a finger along one of the trade routes before leaning back in her chair.
"...For now? Nothing."
"Nothing?"
Barbara blinked, clearly surprised.
Vivian smiled faintly, the scar over her left eye making the expression look both elegant and dangerous.
"Yes. Nothing, let them be. Don’t monitor them too obviously, and don’t interfere. Besides, my brother is never wrong in his judgment, since he seems to treat them well. I trust his judgment."
Barbara looked at her employer whom she had watched grow since she was a baby for a long second, then let out a soft sigh.
"...As you wish. I’ll keep an eye on them casually then."
Vivian nodded, already turning her attention back to the documents in front of her.
"Good. Now, if there’s nothing else..."

After Barbara left the cabin and closed the door behind her, the room fell quiet once again.
Vivian remained seated at her desk, the faint smile she had worn earlier slowly fading away.
She leaned back in her chair, staring at the flickering lantern flame with a complicated expression.
It wasn’t just about trusting her brother’s judgment...
She was afraid of that Luck.
"[???]..." she whispered to herself, her purple eyes narrowing. "Luck at that level... it’s no longer just fortune. It’s a force itself. Who knows if we are just being influenced by it right now?"
She had seen what monstrously high Luck could do in the past.
People who possessed it tended to survive impossible situations, turn disasters into opportunities, and drag everyone around them into their orbit... whether they wanted it or not.
And now such a person... even more ridiculous than the ones she knew had appeared on her ship.
Vivian let out a long, slow breath.
"...This might be bigger than I thought."
She stood up and walked over to the window, gazing out at the ocean.
Even though having high Luck seemed like a blessing... there was a single fatal flaw.
"...Nothing in this world comes for free."
Vivian murmured as her scarred left eye reflected the calm blue sea on the horizon, lost in thought.

Meanwhile, back in Jake and Grace’s cabin...
"Ahh... fuck, that feels good— Achoo!"
A sudden, powerful sneeze rocked his body.
His whole frame jolted forward, and a small string of saliva flew from his mouth.
He blinked, rubbing his nose with the back of his hand.
"Ugh... who the hell is talking about me behind my back?" Jake complained softly.
Right now he was completely naked on the small bed as he currently held a delicate leg over his shoulder.
Below him, Grace was lying on her side, half-naked with her massive pale breasts spilling out enticingly over the sheet.
Her skin was flushed a deep pink, still glistening with sweat as she breathed heavily.
She bit down on the blanket, trying desperately to muffle her sweet, lewd moans.
Then, sensing his sudden pause, she looked up at him with hazy, affectionate golden eyes.
"Jake...? Are you okay?"
Jake let out a low, husky chuckle, his hips resume moving in a slow, deep rhythm that made her tremble beneath him.
"Yeah... I’m good. Probably someone is talking behind my back."
He gave a slightly harder thrust, drawing a sharp, muffled cry from Grace.
"Don’t hold back your voice too much," he whispered with a smirk, his free hand sliding up to cup one of her heavy, spilling breasts.
"I like hearing your voice..."
Grace whimpered cutely around the blanket, her golden eyes shimmering with love and lust as she nodded obediently.
"Mmmh... Jake...♡"
Soon, the sound of wet colliding flesh resumed inside the dark and small cabin, along with Grace’s cute, suppressed melodic moans.
